The Redbird's story.

Mickey grabed the cup for Tyler and tied to wake him. When he she wouldn't she sighed.

Matt was fumbling for an anwser. "Like uh Marriage." he finally said not sure if he said that right thing.

Mickey laguhed.

"Oh," Elliot said, confused as to why they were acting so strangely about it. "Why are you pink?" She asked Matt, but then looked down at whatever was in her cup. She closed her eyes and drank it in one long gulp, wrinkling her nose as she did so.

She looked down at Tyler and sighed. she took a mouthfull of his medacine, opened his mouth. She leaned down and brought her lips to his, and let the nasty tasteing edacine go from her mouth to his. She puled back quickly and closed his mouth again.

Elliot watched Mickey, wondering what she was doing until she realized she was giving him the medicine. She looked down at the emtpy cup in her hands. The room began spinning again and she lay back down qucikly.

Mickey had to do that a few more times, before his cup was empty. She stood up and took the cup from elliot.

Matt had gone done shairs to check on the fire.

Elliot smiled slightly at Mickey. "Thank you," she said. She looked at Tyler again.

"Will he be okay?" She asked softly. "Tell me the truth, please."

Mickey shruged. "Most likely not. He's to lazy to fight for anything. " She said. "So why would he fight for his life?" She asked. "I can give him all the medacine in the world but if he doesn't fight the sickness then it wo't do any good." Mickey thoght for a moment after that. Her words might have sounded harsh, but she didn't take them back.

"How can we make him fight?" Elliot asked, sitting up again and ignoring the spinning in the room. It soon slowed down. "There's got to be a way to help him, instead of just sitting here!" She said.

Mickey was amused. "We can't make him fight. Thats up to him to do that." Mickey said.

"But--but," Elliot said, but knew she was right.

"No buts. Sleep." Mickey said as she took both cups in the herds back down shairs closeing the door behind her.

Elliot shook her head. How could she sleep, knowing Tyler might not be ok?

She leaned down and whispered in his ear.

"Tyler, you need to fight this. Please," she said.

Tyler was never a fighter, Mickey's words rung true. He had no reason to fight. Did he?

"Please, Ty," she said, using her newly aquired nickname for him. "You're one of my best friends. I couldn't go on without you," she said, tears falling down her cheeks.

Did her words reach him? Did he hear her? If so did he even care? Some where in his sudbconcies did he relize She was almost begging for him to fight back? Again did he even care? But if he didn't why did his fingers flex?

Elliot saw the small movement and her small face lit up. She grabbed his hand in her much smaller ones and looked at him.

"See? I know you can hear me. Please, fight this, Ty! For me," she said.

The movement stopped. The unnarutal sleep made him look peaceful almost happy.

Elliot sighed and let go of his hand. She was feeling a bit better, since she had never been as bad as Tyler. She was still warm though and the room began to spin again.

Matt stood up. "I Sould be helping your father in the feilds." He said to mickey. "so if he comes looking for tell him I went-" He was cut off.

"To go kissing the herbalist's girl?" Mickey teased.

Matt face became red from embarssment and anger. "NO!" He nearly yelled. "I went to give a message to Elliot's mother, 'cause I know she most likely doesn't know her daughter is sick."

Elliot heard them talking downstairs but she was fading in and out again and wasn't really paying much attention.

Cora had hung up her clothes and was inside again.

Blake was expolreing the near by woods. He got lost and found a little path. He foolowed it hopeing that it would lead him back to the road he lived on. How was he to know he was only going father into the woods? He came to alittle cottage.

Matt left and headed for town. Or more importenly the market.

Tyler coughed a few times in his sleep.

Elliot opened her eyes, not wanting to fall asleep.

Blake didn't know there was a cottage here. It looked old but well taken care of. HE went to expolre it.

Matt walked around the market place looking for Elliot's mother.

Elliot's mother was walking around the marketplace, stopping here and there and bargaining for things she needed.

Elliot had fallen asleep.

"Have you seen Ms. Morgen?" He asked a few people. Then he saw her just alittle ways away.

"Ms. Morgen!" He called.

When blake looked into a window he felt a hand touch his soulder. He jumped.
