The Redbird's story.

((Right now))

Mickey looked at Elliot. "What is it? Is something wrong?" She asked. All the way back she been thinking that it was a bad idea to have let Elliot come along. She was only 6 after all, she didn't need to know of that yet. She didn't need to see how your freinds got after a certain age. Yes, one of those boys those "pigs" /was/ one of Mickey's freinds, no he use to be her best freind, and it made her sad that he would do that. But what was there for her to do to stop it? Nothing.

Mickey started a small fire and sent Tyler to get some water for the tea. She sat down in a chair, thinking.

"No, nothing's wrong," Elliot said quickly. She sat down in one of the other chairs and looked at Mickey, saying nothing.

Mickey nodded. Her hands were on the table she looked down at them sadly.

The door open and Matt and Joie walked in. Joie was pokeing Matt on theside of the head. Matt looked rather annoied, like Joie been at it for a while.

"How many times much I say stop?" Matt asked

"I'll stop when you tell what is wrong." Joie said still pokeing Matt.

Elliot looked up at Matt and Joie when they walked in, her eyes narrowing slightly. She was angry at them.

Joie kept pokeing Matt. Matt grabed Joie's finger and bented it back and nearly breaking it.

"Fine! I'll stop." Joie cried in pain.

Matt looked at Elliot. "Hello, Elliot." He said kindly, bu one could see that there was someting bugging him.,

Mickey was still looking at her hands sadly.

Elliot turned back to Mickey, completely ignoring Matt.

She hoped Joie kept poking him and that Matt broke his finger next time.

"Did you get everything from the market?" Matt asked.

"No. I have to go back tomorrow." Mickey said.

"Why?"

"Some of the vendors weren't there." Mickey lied to Matt.

Elliot looked up at Mickey, blinking in surprise. Why was she lying?

"There were some boys there," Elliot said, turning to Matt. "They were grabbing her."

She didn't want to talk to Matt or Joie right now but felt they needed to know.

Mickey looked up at Elliot. "Elliot-"

Both Joie and Matt looked at Mickey, confused on why she would lie to them.

"Who?" Joie asked.

"No one." Mickey anwsered.

"MICKEY LISA! Who?!" Matt demanded

"No one!"

Matt looked at Elliot. "What did they look like? What did they do?"



((You can make up how they look.))

"One had brown hair and brown eyes, kinda reminded me of a rat. Another was blonde with green eyes, kinda short, and the other was taller and had blue eyes and brown hair. They grabbed Mickey and were talking about how pretty she was and stuff and one grabbed her face. I tried to make them stop but I couldn't," she said, still not liking that she was talking to Matt.

Mickey looked back at her hands.

"Is that all?" Matt asked

"The third one kissed her on the cheek," Elliot added.

Matt nodded and truned to leave.

"Come on Joie." He said.

"Right behind you."

When they left Mickey started crying. "Why did you do that?" She said between sobs.

"Do what?" Elliot asked, confused.

"Why did you tell them what happened at the Market!?" Mickey said rather loadly, not meaning to.

Elliot flinched when she yelled.

"I---I don't know. I thought they should know! Why does it matter, anyways??" She asked.
