The Redbird's story.

Tyler was hanging on with all he had he slipping. Slipping back into the dark.

Elliot shook his shoulder. "Ty?" She asked.

Tyler didn't open his eyes, he was still slipping, but at least this time he was fighting back.

Elliot looked up at the door for a moment, then back at Tyler.

Tyler was still slipping.

Joie walked back in with a plate of bread and a cup of water.

Elliot looked up at Joie. "Thank you," she said quietly.

He set the food and water on the table. "Don't touch that yet." He said as he truned ad left again.

Tyler suddenly winced in pain. The pain in his chest bringing him back.

Elliot raised an eyebrow at him but nodded. When Tyler winced she looked at him.

"Ty? Tyler, what's wrong??" She asked.

He closed his eyes tighter and hands truned into fists.

"She wants you take this first." Joie said walking back in with two cups. HE set the cups down quickly when he saw Tyler.

Elliot didn't look at him when he walked in. She was still watching Tyler.

"Tyler, what's wrong??" She asked again.

Joie handed elliot a cup of green stuff for her to drink. He then tryed to wake Tyler.

Elliot didn't even ask what the green stuff was and downed it in one gulp before turning back to Tyler.

"Take the food and water and go down shairs NOW!" Joie said pulling the blankets off of Tyler.

"What? What's wrong?" Elliot asked, quickly getting off of the bed.

"Get out." Joie said softy "NOW!" he yelled.

Elliot winced and grabbed the plate of food and ran out the door and down the stairs, tears blurring her vision.

Joie looked down at tyler and sighed.

Elliot set the plate down, not hungry anymore. She heard a knock on the door. It was her mother, but she didn't know this yet.

Mickey opened the door.

Ms.Morgan was at the door. Elliot saw her and ran over to her.

"Thank you so much for taking care of her," Ms.Morgan said, hugging Elliot tightly, who was crying again. She picked her up and held her in her arms. "How's Tyler doing?" She whispered, hoping Elliot wouldn't hear.

Joie walked down shairs and saw Elliots mom. He shock his head 'no' 'cause elliot couldn't see him. "He'll be fine." He lied.

Ms. Morgan seemed to understand.

"You have my best wishes," she said, and turned and left with Elliot still in her arms.

Joie and Mickey looked at each other. They both ran back up shairs.

Ms. Morgan took Elliot home and tucked her in bed, putting a washcloth on her forehead. Elliot was mumbling something and Ms.Morgan sang to her to calm her down. She soon fell into a restless sleep.

*two days later*

Matt and Joie were carrying supplies to the Hearts home. It was noon and they were walking past Elliot's home.
