The Redbird's story.

Elliot had her eyes closed but felt someone catch her. She didn't know who it was but she didn't care right now. She opened her eyes but the room was still spinning. She closed them quickly again, not sure where she was or who she was sitting with.

"Elliot?" Joie asked in a soft voice when he hread the cottage door slam close.

"Joie?" Elliot asked, opening her eyes again. The spinning had slowed slightly and she looked up at him. "I'm sorry," she said quietly.

"It's okay." Joie said softly with a sad smile.

"Where's Matt?" She asked quietly, looking around the room.

"gone." joie said.

"Oh," Elliot said. Her forehead felt warm but nothing like Tyler's. She looked up at Joie again.

"Do /you/ think he'll be okay?" She asked.

"I don't know, I hope he will." He said. "But you have to understand, if he stays lie this any longer the best thing would be for him to die ease of his pain."

Elliot shook her head quickly. "No, I don't," she said, a tear falling down her cheek.

"It's nothing. I'm sure he'll play with you again no metter what." Joie said.

Elliot didn't really understand but nodded anyways. She lay her small head back against his chest and closed her eyes, falling asleep within a few moments.

Joie fell asleep too after alittle while with Elliot still in his lap.

Ms. Morgan had gone to bed early.

Cora looked at the apple in her hand. She still feared Blake had stolen it. She didn't eat it but instead put it in her dres pocket and walked back into the cottage.

MAma and Paa ad Blake had already gone to bed. Blake in the middle.

Cora went upstairs and to bed as well, glad she didn't have to share her bed with Blake tonight.

Joie wrapped Elliot in a hug in his sleep. She was a good girl and he believed with all his heart one day she would get her wings.

sally went upstairs and went to bed after Cora.

Layla followed Sally and layed in her bed and fell alseep shortly.

Blake woke up all alone in bed.

Joie woke up and saw he was still holding Elliot, he stood up and walked towards the bed.

Elliot woke up when Joie moved. She opened her eyes and yawned, stretching.

Cora woke up as well and sat up in bed, rubbing her eyes tiredly.

When joie saw she was awake he put her on the ground. "You want something to eat?"

Elliot shook her head. "No, thank you," She said, though her stomach growled. She looked at Tyler.

Joie looked at. "I'll see what I can find for you to eat." He said. "And your mother sould be here soon."

Elliot nodded but didn't take her eyes off of Tyler.

Blake walked down shairs slowly.

Joie left the room.

Elliot crawled back onto the bed and over to where Tyler lay. She looked at his face, his eyes still closed.
