The Redbird's story.

Blake followed.

When he had a small pile of hay he picked it up and droped it on Elliot's face.

Layla followed Cora outside.

Sally walked behind them. She dropped a shirt put picked it up and kept walking.

Elliot giggled again when Tyler dropped the hay on her face. "Hey!" she protested. She sat up and sneezed from the hay.

Cora made her way down to the lake, knowing they would follow.

Blake ran ahead of her.

Tyler laguhed and pulled the hay that fell into her hair out.

Layla kept walking. She watched Blake run ahead.

Cora wondered what Blake was doing but didn't ask. She kept walking at her own pace towards the lake, her arms full of clothes that needed washing.

Elliot smiled at him when he pulled the hay out of her hair. She looked around suddenly.

"I hope Blake and the others come soon," she said.

Tyler pretened to be upset. "Oh? I' not enough fun?" Then he started to laguh. "I too, little one, wish they would get here soon."

Blake sat by a tree and started knoting the rope up like papa showed him.

Cora made it to the lake and saw Blake, but said nothing. She knelt down by the water and began washing her clothes.

Elliot giggled. "Yeah," she said. She stood up and stretched.

Layla knelt down by the water and began washing her pile of clothes.

Sally did the same. She looked up at Blake for a moment then back down at the water.

Blake wasn't paying any attion.

Tyler layed back and closed his eyes.

Cora continued to wash her clothes silently, thinking.

Elliot pointed at the sky.

"That cloud looks like a flower," she said.

Layla finished washing most of the clothes, this was boring to her, she stood up quickly and looked around she saw a cat. She ran over to it and picked it up and threw it on Blake.

Sally wasn't paying attention and kept washing clothes.

The cat clawed Blake in the face. He droped the rope and tossed the cat away.

"LAYLA!" he cried his face bloodly.

Tyler nodded in agreemet even through he didn't open his eyes.

Cora looked up, brought out of her thoughts. She wrinkled her nose, seeing the cat. She didn't like animals. She laughed slightly until she noticed Blake was bleeding.

Elliot sighed and lay back down in the grass next to Tyler, closing her blue eyes.

Layla laughed.

Sally looked up and saw the blood on Blakes face. She glared at Layla.

Blake stood up and went to push Layla. He triped and accidently pushed Cora in. With out thinking he grabed the rope and threw it out for Cora to grab.

Tyler thought it was a little more peaceful with out the redbirds. But they were like family to him, so he still wanted them to come.

Cora was going to ask if Blake was ok when he pushed her in. She yelped as she was pulled under the water. She didn't know how to swim, and her dress was heavy. When her head poped up she gasped for air, grabbing frantically for the rope that Blake had thrown out for her. She managed to grab it, still struggling to stay above water.

Elliot sighed agian, but more of a peaceful one this time. She didn't like the quiet, though. She propped herself up on her elbows and looked over at Tyler.

Tyler still had his dark green eyes closed his hands behind his head.

With some effort, Blake manged to pull cora back out.

Sally got up and ran back to the house as fast as she could.

Layla stood there stil smiling about having thrown the cat on Blake.

When Blake pulled her out she was breathing hard, soaking wet. She glared at Blake, tears of anger in her eyes.

"You idiot!" She yelled. "I can't swim; you almost killed me!!" She shouted. She grabbed the clothes she had washed and turned and ran back to the house, tears of anger blurring her vision.

Elliot was watching Tyler still, as he lay with his eyes closed.

Blake sat on the river bank. Crying. "I didn't mean too." he said.

Tyler had yet to open his eyes.

Elliiot smirked and poked Tyler in the cheek.

Cora continued to run, past Sally and to the house. She reached it first and opened the front door, running in and up to her room, leaving a trail of water behind her.

Sally reached the house shortly, and looked around for their mother. "mama?", she called loudly while she went into the house.

Layla watched Cora run off. She looked at Blake when she heard him talk and rolled her eyes.

"What happened?" Mama asked worry lookig at the water.

tyler opened one dark green eye. "Yessss?" He asked.

Elliot giggled. "Wasn't me," She said simply.

Cora didn't hear her mother and ran into the room she shared with her sisters, shutting the door behind her. She was shivering, cold from being wet.
