The Redbird's story.

"Nope." Matt said not careing if he scared the little girl

Elliot felt tears falling down her cheeks.

"What??" She asked. "What do you mean??"

The cottage door opened again, and Mickey came in crying, she didn't know tyler been found.

"you Better go tell Mickey that he been found." Matt said throwing blankets over tyler.

"You tell her, I'm not leaving Tyler's side," Elliot said. She refused to move, for fear of losing him.

Matt shruged and walked down shairs.

Elliot looked at Tyler, pushing some hair out of his face.

Mickey came running up the shairs. Matt followed behind her.

Elliot heard them running up the stairs and quickly removed her hand. She was standing next to the bed.

"You are lazy matt, he doesn't even live 10 feet away and you decide to put him in my bed." Mickey said walking over to Tyler. "Elliot can you go fecth some water? My bucket sould be by the door."

"Yes," Elliot said. She ran downstairs and out the door, grabbing the bucket on the way. She ran as fast as she could towards the well.

Cora was still washing clothes.

Matt sat on the window sill of Mickey's room. Mickey sat on the edge af the bed.

Elliot came back a few minutes later with the bucket of water. She managed to carry it up the stairs and into the room the others were in.

Matt took the bucket and set it next to Mickey.

"Thank-you." Mickey said.

She took a rag and got it wet and put it on tylers head.

Elliot was beginning to feel warm and dizzy again, and sat down next to Tyler's bed. She leaned her head against the wall, watching him, worried.

"If you are sick go home." Matt said, glareing down at elliot.

"Matt, hush!" Mickey said as she stood up.

"I'm not leaving," Elliot said stubbornly. She looked at Tyler.

matt mumbled something and pushed Mickey out of the way. He moved Tyler closer to the edge. He then picked up Elliot above Tyler and to the other side.

"Well if you gonna stay you might as well get better your self," Matt said.

Mickey looked at him werid

"What're you doing?" Elliot asked groggily. She didn't like being picked up.

Matt set her on the bed, then truned to Mickey.

She started nameing herbs. He nodded and left the room, then the cottage.

Elliot looked at Matt strangely and then watched as he left. She looked over at Tyler.

Tyler had his eyes closed. His face bright red from the fever. Mickey reached over him and gently place her hand on Elliots fore head.

"You have a slight fever you sould be ok in about 24 hours. Tyler well I'm not so sure. . . " Mickey said. " So how come you both got sick over the same night?" She asked

Elliot, not wanting to get Tyler in trouble, shrugged.

"I don't know," She lied. The room was spinning slightly and she closed her eyes tightly.

Mickey nodded not beliveing the girl, but said nothing. She gently put a damp rag on Elliots head.

Elliot felt the cloth on her forehead but didn't open her eyes. She mumbled something and turned on her side.

Mickey sighed as the rag fell of Elliots forehead when she truned to her side.
