The Redbird's story.

Cora was no longer smiling as she walked into their room and over to her bed. She lay down, leaving some room for Blake.

Tyler sneezed. He was sitting in the hay again, and was wet to the bone.

Blake climbed in after Cora.

Cora turned on her side, facing away from Blake.

Elliot, unable to sleep, stood up and snuck downstairs. Her mom was already sleeping. She walked outside, quietly closing the door behind her. It was dark out.

Tyler wrapped himself in the blanket and sneezed again.

Balke layed down as far away from Cora as the little bed would allow.

Elliot walked down the pathwy, down towards the well, unsure of what she was doing.

Cora closed her eyes but didn't sleep.

Tyler looked around the barn. The roof was leaking here and there.

Blake soon fell asleep.

Elliot hummed softly as she walked. She began singing a song her mom had taught her quietly as she walked.

Cora still couldn't sleep.

Blake rolled closer to Cora.

Tyler stood up and walked out of the barn. It was still raining slightly and he knew he would have a cold on the morning but he could't sleep. He sneezed again ad started walking.

Elliot closed her eyes, spinning in a circle. She loved the rain. She giggled and continued singing her song quietly.

Cora could feel Blake had moved closer and glared at the wall.

Blake mumbled something in his sleep.

Tyler saw Elliot and was tring to stay quiet as to scare her. He sneezed.

Cora sighed. She wouldn't be able to sleep if Blake was talking.

Elliot heard someone sneeze and her eyes snapped open. She couldn't tell who it was with the slight rain.

"Who's there?" She called.

Suddenly Blake's sweet sleep truned into a nightmare. He tossed silghtly but didn't say anything.

"Me." Tyler said walking closer and sneezed again.

Cora looked over at Blake but made noo move to do anything.

"Oh, hi, Tyler!" Elliot said. "What're you doing out here?" She asked.

"Walking." He said simplely. "Won't your mother worry? You beening out so late?"

Blake said nothing as he was still in his nightmare.

Elliot shrugged. "Nah, she's sleeping," she said. "I tried to but couldn't. So I came out here," She said simply.

Cora watched Blake.

Blake tossed one more time.

Tyler looked at her but said nothing about it.

"I couldn't sleep etheir." He said. That was srupiseing condering he loved to sleep.

"You sick or something?" Elliot asked. "You /always/ sleep."

Cora frowned but made no move to do anything. She turned back on her other side, staring at the wall again.

Tears ran down his cheeks in his sleep. "Sis-" was all that was autoable while he was asleep.

Tyelr laguh. "May-" he sneezed again. "be."

Cora sighed and turned around.

"Everything's okay, Blake," she whispered, even though he was sleeping.

Elliot giggled. "Maybe you should go back," she said. "You're gonna get sick if you stay out here too long."

Blake still cried but said nothing.

"And you won't?" Tyler asked sitting done on the wet ground.

Elliot shrugged. "Don't know, don't care either," she said, sitting down on the wet ground next to him. "I like the rain."

Cora sighed. She didn't know what to do.

"Don't die." Blake said in his sleep tossing again and faceing away from cora.

He laguhed. "I like the sun. so much easier to sleep outside in. I like the rain to when I'm inside it puts me fast to sleep."

'Die?' Cora thought, confused.

"No ones dying, Blake," she whispered.

"Hmmm," Elliot said. She lifted her face to the sky, feeling the rain fall on her.

Blake mumbled more and tossed again. He fell to the floor. HE sat up still crying. He looked up at Cora.

Tyler shived. he was cold.

Cora almost laughed when Blake fell until she saw that he was still crying. She peered down at him from the bed. "You okay?" She asked quietly.

Elliot looked over at Tyler and saw him shiver. "You should really go back," She said. She wasn't really cold yet.
