The big city.

"Did I have a choice!?" He demaned. "If I didn't kill they would of have killed you!"

Tyler grabbed her roughly by the arm. "I don't know, don't I seem pretty real?" He asked, throwing her again.

Warren said nothing. He held her tighter.

Andrea ignored him, and looked around, as if only now noticing the absence of her son and his wife.

"Great job, Isaac," She said simply, as if she had no blame of her own.

Cora heard the noise in his chest, and visibly flinched.

"Sit," she said quietly. "Please. You're only going to hurt yourself further if you keep moving around," she said quietly.

Elliot couldn't surpress the scream of pain this time. Pain shot up and down her back where she hit the wall, the blood coming freely now. She shook her head, standing up, but she only fell to her knees again.

Andrew appeared then, and looked at the face of Elliot twisted in pain, and then at Tyler. He seemed to understand, for a moment later he had Tyler pinned against the wall by his throat. Elliot coughed, and lifted a hand to her mouth. It came away red.

Melanie knew there was no changing what had been done, nor what she had to do. She felt like this could be the last time she could touch him, hold him in her arms. It only made her shoulders shake harder.

Carlisle nodded and walked into the room. He sat on the bed swiftly and tried to relax.

He glared at her. "Maybe you should of have kept an eye on them!" He yelled.

Tyler glared at the boy, grabbing his arm and twisting it until he heard a crack.

"Please stop crying." He whispbered.

Cora sat down next to him silently her feet hanging off the edge of the bed. "It's late," she said quietly, stating the obvoius.

"That's all I ever did!!" Andrea shouted, spinning back to face her husband. "I looked after all of them everyday!! And what did you do?!" She demanded, as if she actually expected an answer from him.

Andrew didn't even showt he pain as he took a step back. He was a demon, so within a few moments his arm was healed, though it still hurt. Elliot stumbled to her feet.

"No!" She shouted, stepping betweent hem. "Stop it, Andrew!" She shouted. "This isn't him. Don't hurt h--" She started, but was sent into another coughing fit. Blood dripped down her chin.

"I'm not crying," Melanie protested, but her voice was thick with tears.

"Yes, it is." Carlisle muttered, "The pain returned again." he told her, his large lapse of pain made the medicines affect wear off.

"I made evey petty little blonde hair on your pretty little head stayed safe." Isaac retorted.

Tyler's arms wrapped around her, and he pulled her close. "Are you sure that is smart?" He whispbedr in her ear.

"Lier." Warren said.

"Take some medicine," Cora said quietly, staring down at her feet.

Andrea had no response to that. She fell silent, but she still was glaring at him.

Elliot felt a chill run down her spine, and she closed her eyes tightly, shaking her head. She didn't like him like this. She wanted him to hold her, but not this way.

Andrew was glaring murderously at Tyler. "Let her go," He growled. Elliot shook her head. "Andrew, don't," she said quietly. The metallic taste of blood lingered in her mouth.

"Do you hate me?" Melanie asked quietly, not daring to look up at him, fearful of his answer.

"Nevermind, I'll live." Carlisle told her after he realized where his pills were, on the nightstand in their bedroom. He laid back on the bed and tapped beside him, "Let's go to bed." he mumbled.

Isaac seemed quite happy that she had finally shut up.

"Sure." Tyler said, and Elliot ended up down the hall, and he was gone.

"No." He said truthfully.

Elliot couldn't even find the will or the strength to get off her feet this time. Her back burned with raw pain, and she didn't think she could have moved even if she had wanted to. Andrew was next to her in a moment; she had her eyes closed.

He lifted her carefully in his arms, taking care to avoid touching her wings. Blood dripped from her back onto the cavern floor as his disappeared. He reappeared in the dark caverns, and lay her down on the ground in his own cave. Her eyelids fluttered open slowly, and she tried to sit up. A hand pushed her back down, and she realized who it was; Andrew.

"No," She mumbled, sitting up, biting her lip to keep from screaming. "I have to go back."

"And do what?" Andrew demanded. She realized then that she was laying under a blanket, and bandages covered her back. She must have been out for longer than she realized, either that or he was just very fast. He pointed to a different dress, sitting in the corner. She didn't even care to askw here he had gotten it; right now she was only concious of the fact that she wasn't wearing anything under the blanket.

"You can change," He said simply. "Your clothes were covered in blood, and so were you. You're still bleeding." She slapped him, hard, on the cheek.

"You should," Melanie said softly. "I ruined everything. Everything."

Andrea wanted to storm out of the room, but would not give him that satisfication. This was going to a very long however long she was stuck with him.

Cora seemed to understand and nodded slowly. She lay down next to him, careful not to move the bed too much.

"But I don't." Warren said. "I could never hate you." He said.

Isaac touched the top of her head as he walked out of the room.

Carlisle turned on his side and wrapped his arms around her waist to hold her close. "Thank you for being you." he said, he was thankful that his marriage was in no way close to that of his parents.

Andrea scowled at him, and followed. "I'm required to stay near you at all times," She said simply. "You're here to make Carlisle slip up, and I'm going to make sure you don't get that chance," She said simply.

Melanie nodded slowly. "What are we going to do now?" She asked quietly, a hint of desperation in her voice.

Elliot glared at him, anger rolling off of her in waves. "Get out," she hissed. Surprsingly, he obeyed. She stumbled to her feet and picked the dress up, slipping it up and over her head. The pain in her back was still there, but not nearly as bad as it had been. She could still taste blood in her mouth.

Cora nodded slowly. "I couldn't be anything else," She said quietly, closing her eyes and moving closer to him.

"Oh, woder ful." He said, sarcaticly. "I have a nag, tagging alone."

"We do what we have to." Warren said simply.

"I know." Carlisle muttered, he closed his eyes slowly as he tried to sleep.

Andrea glared at him. "And I'm going to keep nagging you if you don't shut up," She said simply. "Honestly, Isaac, it's like everything you do is to make me angry," She said.

Cora couldn't seem to fall asleep, no matter how hard she tried. She was thinking about what Blake had said earlier, beside herself with worry.

Melanie sighed and nodded, finally pulling back and wiping her eyes on the back of her sleeve. "I'm sorry," She said once more. "I really am."

"I love you." Carlisle muttered before he kissed her forehead. He tried to sleep but was thinking of his parents arguing.

"I could say the same for you." He said, opening the door, and stepping out.

"Stop that." Waren said, as he walked toward the stairs.

Laurinda awoke with a start, and fell off the couch with a small yelp. She jumped to her feet and looked around hazily. The events of the day before came rushing back at her like a crashing wave, and a blush rose to her cheeks. She shook it off, and realized something; she wasn't sick anymore. Whatever had been bothering her last night was gone now. Her stomach growled, but she ignored it.

She looked around the living room, eyes heavy with sleep. She attempted to smooth out her clothes, but failed miserably. They were covered in dirt.

Cora was already awake, and sitting on a chair downstairs in the kitchen. She had a book open in front of her, but was hardly reading it. She closed it with a soft sigh, and rested her head on the table. She knew she should be happier; Carlisle was human. But having his parents here, one trying to help and the other trying to make him slip up...it wasn't helping. And quite frankly, their contsant arguing was giving her a headache.

Andrea was still asleep on the couch in the living room, where she had fallen asleep the night before. She was strangely peaceful in her sleep, not yelling for once. Perhaps that was why. Her blonde hair fell in front of her face, making her appear younger.

Melanie was invisible to Hope, and sitting next to her now. She could'nt bring herself to do anything to her, however, though she knew she was supposed to. That she had to. That if she didn't, something could happen to Warren. But she couldn't.

"You jerk!!" Elliot shouted, stepping into Jake's cave. Her hands were trembling in silent rage, her eyes cold and full of hatred. "You told me he wouldnt' go insane again! You lied!!" She yelled, stepping towards him. "I gave up my wings for your precious Suki, on the condition that it would fix Tyler!! And now he's not okay anymore!!" She yelled. She looked like she'd like nothing more than to hit him right now.

Ashlyn was awake, and changing. David was in the living room; she had just woken up. She slipped on her jeans, and was searching for her shirt when the door opened behind her.

"You never told me you got a tattoo," David said. Ashlyn spun around, arms folded across her chest, glaring at him. "Get out!!" She shouted.

He smirked. "Oh, come on," He said, stepping closer to her. "It's not like--" he was cut off as the book from her bag hit him in the side of his head. "I said, get out!!!" She shouted, and folded her arms across her chest again, in an effort to hide herself from him.

Lenora was awake already, and sitting outside with her drawing pad on her lap. She bit her lip, thinking. Her mind was still clouded with images of Dust, though not ones she'd have liked to seen. She was trying to forget, to focus on what she wanted to draw now. She closed her eyes, and her hand began to move across the paper in slow, steady strides.

Ava opened her eyes slowly, and was surprised to find Blake laying next to her. She sat up quickly, trying to remember what had happened as her heart pounded loudly against her chest. She slowly remembered, and realized he must have come while she was asleep. Her heart slowed down slightly, and she relaxed lightly.

Hymn sat up slowly, and realized she wasn't on the hard ground like she normally was. She was in a...bed? She slowly remembered what had happened, and looked around quickly. She let her feet fall over the side of the bed, and stood up slowly, flinching as she moved her side. It still hurt, a lot.

Brianna was trying to read a book in her room, but Ivy was making that near impossible. She was watching her with a look in her eyes that Brianna did not recognize nor want to recognize. She looked...thoughtful, like she was planning something. It made her skin crawl.

Raven awoke and looked around as sunlight streamed in through a window. It took her a moment to realize where she was; her old home, her old room. She sat up slowly and looked around at the faded pink paitned walls, the lighter patches of paint where pictures had once hung on the wall. She felt her heart breaking all over again as she thought of Sable once more.

Carlisle walked downstairs on his crutches. He stopped when he saw his mother, "Well that's a change." he muttered before goig into the kitchen, "You okay?" he asked Cora, "Are they killing you already?"

Link opened his eyes. "Oh." He must of fell asleep next to her. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Isaac appeared in the kicthen. "I know she would be killing me if I were still alive." He muttered.

Warren and Hope was at a Cafe, eatting breakfast. Warren wasn't sure what to do. He haven't eaten human food since he was truned into a fallen.

"You should listen more closely." Jake said. "I said I will make it where he won't stay insane."

Blake was still sleeping.

In his sleep Chris reached out and grabbed her arm.

"I'm fine," Laurinda said quickly. She offered him a small smile. "Good morning."

Cora shook her head at Carlisle, smiling slightly just as Isaac came in. She tried not to roll her eyes.

Andrea walked in a moment later. "You're right, I would be," She said, looking at Isaac. She had heard him.

Melanie was watching Warren silently.

Elliot opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. "That's so...wrong!!" She finally shouted. "You selfish jerk!!"

Hymn jumped, then relaxed when she saw it was just Chris. She slowly lowered herself back onto the bed, though she stayed sitting up.

"Fine, fine," David mumbled, rubbing his head. He turned and left. Ashlyn looked furious as she slipped on her shirt and picked up her fallen book. Ether was laughing.

Carlisle sighed and walked over to Cora, he kissed her quickly and pulled away, "Try to ignore them." e advised before standing up straight, "Can I get you anything to eat?" he asked.

Link nodded, and stood. "Do you want something to eat?" He asked.

Isaac sighed. "I prefer you when you are sleeping." He said. "You talk less."

"How am I selfish. I made him crazy forever, so I retruned him back to normarl. Thats what you asked me to do, so that is what I did do." Jake said.

Chris didn't remove his arm.

"What did I say?" Mason asked, letting only David hear him. "Leave her alone."
