The big city.

David's fingers froze on the keyboard. His head was spinning. He shook his head slowly. "I didn't kill her," was all he managed to say.

Elliot shook her head. " I can't. I won't. I won't watch you go insane again."

Ava's breathing slowly slowed down, and she relaxed. "Blake?" she asked queitly, looking at him. "But I was just---" she didn't finish.

Cora smiled at him, and nodded. she took his hand again silently.

"So?" He asked. "You are the reason she is dead. You are the one who made the call, it would have never happened if you never had done that. You are just one of her murders." He said, frowning."In a way you did kill her, just not directly."

"And that is what I'm to do?" Tyler asked. "Watch you go insane, and know it's my fault?"

"In the meadow, I got worried." He said softly.

Carlisle smiled at her and kissed her forehead gently, "Let's go then." he said and he led her back to the house once more.

Cora walked next to him silently, her mind wandering. She didn't speak, instead enjoying the silence and glancing up at the moon as they walked.

David pushed his laptop closed and stood up slowly. He ignored Mason and went into the bathroom, and came back a few minutes later and began to scrub the blood out of his carpet, his movements stiff and controlled.

Elliot shook her head. "But it's not your fault!" She protested. "I made my own decisions, my own choices."

Ava shook her head, pulling her knees up to her chest and resting her chin on top of them. "I'm sorry," She said quietly. She felt like a little kid.

Mason glared at him, and just disappeared.

"You did it for me!" Tyler augured. "Therefor, my fault!"

"No, you did nothing wrong." Blake said softly.

"No!" Elliot shouted. "It's not your fault. I did it for me, because I couldn't stand to see you that way, and I did it for you because I love you, but it was not your fault. Please, trust me," She cried.

"You shouldn't have to come and get me. I shouldn't be so scared," Ava whispered.

Carlisle hummed lightly as they walked, enjoying the night.

Isaac was waiting on the front step.

Tyler shook his head. "And I won't let you keep it." He said. "You do not deserve to have it."

Blake stood up. "Why? Why can't I try to drive off all your fears?" He asked. "There is no reason to be scared."

Cora looked up as they came to the house, and her eyes widened as she saw Isaac. She grippped his hand tighter, glaring at him. "What are you doing here?" She demanded. "Andrea said you were gone."

Elliot looked up at him, the stubborness and fire she had always had evident in her eyes. "And I won't let you have it," she said simply. "Because you don't deserve it either."

Ava looked up at him, eyes and face softening. "Blake---" She said quietly, but cut herself off. She looked down at her hands, tears blurring her vision.

Carlisle stiffened as his father stood there. His humming stopped and glared at him.

"It looks as if the goddess out smarted me." He said. "I have to this job." I have to finish it, or I will surely regret it." He said.

"Elliot!" He cried. "I killed Tally, I do deserve it, please it me take it back." He begged.

"Ava, what is it" He asked softy.

"I'll make you regret it if you do!" Cora shouted suddenly, though she knew how small and insignificant she was in the big picture of things. That was when Andrea showed up. She glanced at Isaac, only for a moment. "You lied," She said simply. Then she turned to Carlisle and Cora.

Elliot shook her head. "You killed them because of it, that does not mean you deserve it."

Ava shook her head. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. "Being dead..should mean I shouldn't be scared anymore. But---I am," she whispered.

"Then I guess that is what's happening Isaac because I'm not going back. I have a family here with Cora, Rose, and Ash and I'm not leaving them!" Carlisle growled.

Rose dashed outside, ignoring Carlisle's parents as she spoke, "Damon is in the house. He's in your room and Annabell is crying." she said out of breath, "I can't get rid of him."

That was all it took for Carlisle to let go of Cora's hand and dash past Andrea, Rose, and Isaac. His injuries were slowing him down.

"Fine, but I don't think Annabell will make a good fallen, which is what she is threatening to do if I don't bug you." He yelled after him, and disappeared.

Tyler frowned. "Please, Elliot." He said.

"It means nothing. "I'm still terrified of cats." He said.

This all left Andrea and Cora alone on the front porch. Andrea turned, and for a moment Cor asaw an immense sadness in her eyes. But it was gone just as fast, replace donce more by her angry, bitter nature once more. She turned into the house, and Cora felt frozen to the spot. Only after standing alone for a few moments did she hurry after her.

Elliot shook her head. "No. My mind is made up. I won't let you have it, and you don't want me to have it. But there's no other choice. There's nothing left to do. It's done."

Ava smiled slightly at his words, but it was a sad smile. "I guess so," she said quietly. Suddenly she realized something. "My violin! It's still...there," she said quietly. But she knew she couldn't go back to get it, not while it was dark outside.

Carlisle burst into the bedroom and picked the crying Annabell up, he glared at Damon and the demon disappeared. "Isaac! Get back here!" Carlisle shouted as he tried to comfort his angel sister.

The goddess smirked and held the feather in her hands. She dipped it in the bowl of black ink.

Isaac appeared next to him. His face pale. "It's too late, as soon as the feather is black in ink she will be a fallen." He said.

"Elliot." He begged. "Please." He said. "You don't understand." He said.

"I will get it for you." Blake said. "If you want." He stood up, and looked down at her.

Andrea was next to her husband now, her face twisted in rage. "It's your fault!" She shouted suddenly. "Why didn't you try to stop it? Go now, stop her!!" She cried, desperation leaking through her voice. Cora's eyes were wide as she ran up the stairs, looking at Carlisle and Annabell.

"Then make me understand," Elliot said suddenly, looking up at him. "Make me understand."

Ava looked up at him, and slowly nodded. "Yeah. Th-Thanks," she said quietly.

Annabell cried out in pain and her nails dug into Carlisle's skin. Her wings slowly turned dark gray and then black.

"Annabell..." Carlisle muttered as he felt defeated, "I'm so sorry..."

"Don't you think I tried!?" Isaac shouted at her.

Tyler touched her cheek. "It will devour you." He said.

Blake disappeared, and returned carrying her violin.

The feather slowly went deeper until it was all the way in the ink. She pulled the blacken feather out smirking.

"No! No, I don't! Becuase if you did, this wouldn't be happening!!!" Andrea shouted. She ran over to the bed then, holding her daughter's hand tightly. Her tightly maintained composure was gone, leaving the broken woman underneath. Cora was looking at Isaac with what could only be described as pure hatred in her eyes.

Elliot was silent. "And I will let it," she said, closing her eyes. "If that means that it won't devour you."

Ava smiled at him, and gently took it from him, her fingers brushing his as she did. "Thank you,"she said softly.

"Mommy!! Make it stop!!" Annabell cried as pain surged through her body and wings. She gripped her mothers hand tightly.

"I hope you're pleased, Isaac. You just turned your only daughter into a Fallen." Carlisle said low and bitterly. He was still being held by his sister and he winced slightly.

"I didn't want this to happen!" Isaac yelled. "How can you force a choice like that on me? My son or my daughter!?" He questioned. "What was I to do? Who can stop the crazy goddess when she has her mind set on something? Most certainly not me, and you pin the blame on me?" Rage fill his eyes.

"And I will lose you." Tyler whispered. "And you will lose me."

Blake nodded. "Anytime." He said.

Andrea didn't answer her husband's yelling; only gripped her daguhter's hand tighter. Tears filled her eyes for the first time in over a hundred years. She pushed them back; she had never let any of them see her cry, not even in life. She was far too proud for that.

Cora, however, was crying, silently, her eyes on Annabell.

Elliot shook her head quickly. "Don't say that," she said quietly. "We can find a way through this. We always do, Ty," she said quietly, opening her eyes and looking up at him.

Ava set it down on the ground, and sat up straight, looking over at Blake silently. The shadow of a smile flickered over her face.

Annabell released Carlisle only to latch on to Andrea. She tried to stop crying but couldn't, the pain was too much.

"GET OUT!!!" Carlisle yelled in fury towards his father. Tears streamed down his face as he heard his sister cry harder.
