The big city.

Isaac glared at him, and disappeared.

Tyler shook his head. "What is this love worth if the person you love gets hurt because of it?" He asked, looking down at her.

Blake kissed her forehead, and sat down. "What did you do all day?" He asked.

Cora flinched as Carlisle yelled, and turned away from the scene unfolding before her. Andrea wrapped her arms around her daughter, stroking her hair with one hand and whispering soothing words to her, as he had when they were both alive. Her anger at Isaac was still there, stronger than ever, yet she tried to hold it back now, for the sake of Annabell.

Elliot shook her head slowly, looking down at her feet. "I don't know," she admitted, her voice cracking. "I don't..."

Ava looked over at him. "I was in the meadow most of the day, actually," she said quietly. "Thinking. Playing on the violin," she said. "What about you?" She offered him a small smile.

Annabell crying continued, along with occassional plea to make it stop.

"I have to fix this..." Carlisle muttered, "Annabell doesn't deserve this.."

"And do what?" Clara asked appearing next to him. "Are you going to let yourself be turned back into a demon?" She asked, smirking.

Tyler wiped a tear out her eye. "I love you." He said softly.

"Being bored all day." He said dully.

Cora's eyes widened. "No!" She shouted suddenly, hands in fists at her sides. Andrea didn't seem to hear her, but she looked up at Clara with such fury in her eyes that even Cora flinched, though it hadn't been directed at her.

Elliot nodded slowly. "I love you too," she said quietly, stepping closer to him again. She didn't know what would happen, but right now she just wanted to feel his arms around her, enjoy his embrace, with the knowledge that everything would be okay, if not for a long time.

Ava smiled slightly. "Sounds fun," She said. She closed her eyes for a moment, yawning.

Carlisle looked at Cora, "Like I would ever consider leaving you for even a second." he told her before turning to Clara, "That being said; what do you need, Clara?" he asked.

Annabell didn't seem to notice the demon presence, her crying still continuing.

"Your father is a failure, that is all." She said, and disappeared.

Tyler wrapped his arms around her.

Blake frowned. "Am I boring you?" He asked.

"As if we didn't already know that," Andrea spat, though she was gone. She looked down at Annabell, shaking her head slowly. It was over, and she knew that. There was nothing that could help her now.

Cora stood off to the side, hands clasped together behind her back, staring at her feet in silence, suddenly feeling very out of place here.

Elliot melted into his embrace, trying not to think of tomorrow, or even that moment. She just wanted to stay this way forever. She missed the way things used to be, so much simpler, yet she knew that she wouldn't change a thing about it. She never would have realized how he felt about him if it weren't for all that had happened after their deaths.

Ava shook her head quickly. "No!" She said. "I'm just...tired, is all," She said, smiling at him.

Carlisle walked over Cora and tried to smile but couldn't manage it. "Sorry this happened all at once, I have a very screwed up family, especially when it comes to Isaac."

Annabell's cries lowered to a dull whimper.

Tyler was stroking her hair. "Elliot." He kept saying her name, as if he would never be able to say it again.

Blake laughed. "I was kidding." He said, kissing her forehead. "Then sleep."

Cora shook her head slowly. "Not your fault," was all she said, her voice barely more than a whisper. Andrea was silent.

Ava shook her head. "I don't want to sleep," she said quietly.

Elliot closed her eyes, resting her head against his chest. She wished she could hear his heartbeat, but it seemed faint, distant. She figured that was what happened when you died. She hadn't really thought about it much.

"Mom, you can stay in here with Annabell if you wish. Cora and I can sleep in the spare room." Carlisle offered, he hoped Cora wouldn't mind.

Annabell's arms tightened on her mother, not wanting Andrea to leave her yet.

Blake smiled. "Then what do you want to do?" He asked.

Tyler said nothing more. Instead he was thinking. He wouldn't let her kept this insanity. He would take it back from her. But how was he going keep her from taking it back?

Andrea nodded quietly, and sat down on the edge of the bed. She held Annabell close, the small girl in her lap now. Cora walked to the door quickly, her eyes on her feet.

Ava smiled at him, shrugging. "Dunno," she said, unable to stop another yawn that escaped her lips.

Elliot, as if she could sense his thoughts, looked up at him. "Promise me something," she said quietly. "Promise me you won't try to take it back. Please," she said, pleading with him with her eyes.

Carlisle nodded and stepped out of the room with Cora, shutting the door behind them. "You okay?" he asked.

Annabell buried her face into her mother, the pain was dulling slightly for the girl; either that or she was growing use to it. "Mommy, why did this happen to me?" the young girl asked.

"I think you should sleep." He said, softly.

Tyler shook his head. "I can't promise you that." He said.

Ava shook her head. "If I close my eyes, it's....dark," she said quietly. "And I--" she didn't finish, not aloud anyways. 'I feel so alone. I feel like there's no one there with me. I want you to stay with me, hold me in your arms while I sleep so I feel safe.' She turned away, shaking her head at herself.

Elliot sighed, and slowly nodded. "I feel like this is ripping us apart," she said quietly, looking down at her feet once more.

Andrea shook her head. "I don't know," She said quietly, and her voice cracked with tears, tears none of them had seen her shed before. She struggled to hold them back. She began to sing then, something she hadn't done for the young girl since she had been this age, alive. Her voice was soft and soothing, as she tried to calm the young child down.

Cora nodded slowly. "It's not me you should be worried about," She said softly, as the sound of singing reached her ears, faint, coming from behind the door. She turned to Carlisle, confusion evident in her eyes.

"Music always calmed Annabell down, it's why I hum." Carlisle explained, "And I can worry about my sister and make sure my wife is okay." he added softly.

"Come here." Blake said, offering her his hand.

Tyler sighed, and touched her cheek. "As do I."

Ava hesitated, only for a moment, before taking his hand. She realized only then how cold hers was, for his felt warm in hers, despite the fact that they were both dead. It had been cold outside.

Elliot stared down at her feet again. "But I don't want to lose you," she said quietly, her voice cracking with tears. "I don't."

Cora smiled slightly at him, and led him down the hallway, until the sound of Andrea's singing slowly faded.

Carlisle followed her quickly. He was worried for young Annabell, she shouldn't have to deal with that pain.

Annabell soon fell asleep with the comfort of her mothers singing. She whimpered slightly in her sleep but that was all.

Blake pulled her into his lap, and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I don't either." He whispered. "But somethings can be stopped."

Elliot wrapped her arms around him tightly without another thought, finally breaking down, and finally allowing her tears to fall freely. She held him tightly, burying her face in his chest.

Ava blinked in surprise, but didn't protest. Instead she hesitantly closed her eyes. Though it was now dark, she felt the sense of being held, the safe sense that his arms offered.

Cora opened the door to the other room silently, glancing over at Carlisle as she stepped in.

Andrea was silent once her daughter was asleep, and finally allowed her tears to fall. She held her daughter close to her, but not enough to wake her up. She couldn't see through the curtain of teras, and only hoped that they would remain alone.

Carlisle walked in behind her and lightly shut the door.

Annabell's dreams were pain filled, she gripped on to her mother rather tightly and released a loud whimper.

Tyler hugged her back. "I'm sorry." He said.
