Laurinda nodded. "Yeah," She said, just as her stomach growled again. She tried to cover it up by coughing.

Andrea mumbled something under her breathe, and looked at her son, then at Cora. Cora felt her eyes on her, and nodded at Carlisle's words, standing up. "I'll get it," she said quietly.

Elliot shook her head back and forth slowly. "There has to be a way to keep him normal," She said quietly. "A way you can do that."

David ignored Mason; he had shook it off as a figment of his imagination the night before. He walked into the kitchen, where Ashlyn followed a few moments later.

Hymn took her other hand and absentmindedly brushed his hair out of his face, but her hand lingered. Her face was softer, much softer than normal.

"I've got it. It's the least I can do." Carlisle said, refering to his parents presence, "What would you like?" he asked.

Link laughed. "Come." He said standing up. "Make sure you wash your hands." He said as he walked into the kicthen.

Isaac watched with with an amused expresstion.

"This is normarl." Jake said. "For him. You may not want to admit it, but some part of him has always been like this. There is nothing I can do about genes."

Chrsi mumabled something in his sleep.

"Shut up! "Elliot yelled suddenly. "You're wrong. Just tell me; is there a way to keep him from going insane ever again? Any way. I'd do anything," She said quietly, her voice giving away the truth of her words.

Cora simply shrugged at his question. "Anything is fine," She said quietly, standing up. Andrea was glaring darkly at her husband.

Laurinda nodded and followed him silently. She looked down at her hands, at the dirt under her fingernails and her short, slender fingers, also covered in dirt. She frowned, realizing how much of a mess she must look like to him.

Hymn smiled slightly, softer, and took her hand away from his face. She slowly lay back on her side, watching him silently. She took his hand in hers.

Carlisle nodded and went to the fridge. He pulled out two apples and walked back to Cora and handed her one.

"There isn't." Jake said bluntly, and flipped his knife in the air.

Isaac frowned. "If you contuie to look at me like that I might get the wrong idea."

Link nodded toward the sink, and pulled out two bowels, two spoons, milk, and a box of cereal.

Elliot reached up and caught the knife before he could, and held it away from him. "Jake," she said slowly. "You're a demon, and a powerful one at that. You're telilng me that there's no possible way, at all, to fix this??" She demanded.

Laurinda walked over to the sink and began to wash her hands. After a few minutes, that seemed like hours to her, she pulled her hands out and wiped them on a towel. She turned back to Link, smiling slightly as her stomach growled again.

Cora smiled slightly at Carlisle, taking the apple from him. "Thank you, She said quietly. Andrea didn't let up her glare.

"Did you sleep well?" Carlisle asked as he sat. He smiled at her before taking a bite.

Jake smirked. "There is one thing." He said, yanking the knife out of her grasp. "But I refuse to do it." He said.

Lance pushed the bowl and milk towards the small girl.

Isaac smirked at her. "Really, Andrea?" He said, tapping his fingers on the counter. "Yesterday you wouldn't shut up, and now you won't utter a word."

Elliot glared at him. "Why not?" She demanded. "what is it??"

Laurinda took a small bite, but soon found herself eating quickly, faster than anyone should have been able to. She hadn't had a good meal in so long, and it tasted so good...

Cora nodded, smiling at him. "Did you?" She asked quietly, twirling her apple in her hands, not yet eating it.

Andrea glared at her husband, still saying nothing. She was giving him the silent treatment.

"I can give you the insanity." Jake said simply.

Lance Watched her, frowning slightly.

Isaac smiled again. "Finally, I thought I would never get quiet."

Elliot's eyes widened slightly. She took a step back, and looked down at her hands. So many thoughts were running through her mind, but she just kept seeing Tyler's face.

"It would be like his?" She asked quietly, looking at Jake. "where it comes and goes?"

Laurinda realzed that Lance was watching her and her cheeks turned a bright red. She slowly lowered her spoon; she had already finished eating.

Andrea's eye twitched slightly in anger, but she still held her tongue.

Carlisle shrugged, "Could have been better." he told her as he recalled a night of pain from lack of meds.

Jake shrugged. "Insanity cahnges with each person." He said simply.

Lance threw his food away, no longer hurngy. "Would you like a bath?" He asked. "

Isaac wonder how long it would take to break her. "I just hope you stay like this, your voice is rather annoying, you know."

Laurinda stared down at her hands, feeling like it was her fault. She probably grossed him out or something; she didn't mean to. She just hadn't been eating much lately.

She nodded slowly at his question. "Yeah. Thanks," She said quietly.

Elliot stared down at her hands. She thought of Tyler, her childhood friend, all the times they had been together, how much she loved him....she suddenly looked up at Jake, her mind made up. "You have to let me do this," she said suddenly. "Please. What does it matter to you? Just make Tyler okay, and put it on me."

Cora frowned and looked down at her apple. She didn't feel so hungry anymore. She knew she should be happy, but she was just as worried as before, if not more.

Andrea groaned. "You insolent jerk!" She shouted. "Can't you just leave me alone for two seconds??" She demanded. She didn't realize they were still in the kitchen with Cora and Carlisle. "You say you don't like my voice, then you just try to make me talk so you can complain about it more!! You're so...so..." She couldn't seem to find a word, and just continued.

"Come on." He said leading her up the stairs. "I don't have anymore of my sisters clothes, so you will have to make do with mine." He said, pulling some closthes, out of his clothet, and handed to her. "We will have to wash your, I don't think you could last long in my closhes."

Isaac smirked. "Aw, I was afaid you went mute on me."

Carlisle frowned and set his apple down, his hunger immediatey gone now. He got up and walked out of the kitchen, leaving his crutches behind. He turned around at the door way and mouthed for Cora to follow.

Elliot nodded. "Okay," She said quietly, and disappeared. Andrew was next to her now.

"Don't do this, Elliot. Let him deal with this on his own."

"Shut up!" Elliot shouted. "And go away. I can take care of myself." She looked around the underworld, unsure where to even begin looking for him.

Laurinda nodded quietly. Just looking at his clothes, she could tell they would be huge on her. "Thanks," She said quietly, clutching them to her chest.

"If only you were so lucky!!" Andrea shouted. "You're such a jerk! And I'm going to make your afterlife miserable every chance I get from now on!!" She shouted. "You're not getting to Carilsle, and you're not getting the satisfication of not hearing my voice, either! You're so---" she went off again, though with much cleaner words, however unkind.

Cora looked up at Carlisle and nodded, following quickly after him as Andrea began to yell again. She flinched, wondering if they were always like this.

Tyler was tormenting alittle kid on earth. "Mama!" The kid cried.

He walked back into a hall, and took a towl from the lien closet and handed it to her, and pointed to the bath room.

Isaac's eye twiched. Why? Oh Why was she like this. Without thinking, he reached out and lifted her chin, and leaned down, vutting her off with a kiss. It was softer then one would think.

"He's insane. He's a demon. If I were him, I wouldn't be here," Andrew said.

"I don't care where you'd be!!" Elliot shouted, but he grabbed her arm before she could protest. They apepared next to Tyler. Her eyes widened, and when she turned to Andrew to demand how he had known, he was gone. She turned to Tyler then, and ran over to them.

Laurinda took the towel and smiled at him. "Thank you," She said quietly, and hurried off to the bathroom. She started the water, and soon stepped in. She was surprised at the amount of dirt she was actually covered in. She watched as the water turned a light brown, then slowly cleared. She was soon out, and dried herself off with the towel. She looked at his clothes, and her cheeks turned red. She got dressed quickly, and looked at herself in the mirror.

She looked ridiculous. His shirt hung off of her small frame, making her look almost like a boy. The shirt went down past her waist, to her knees and even a bit past there. She had to roll up the legs of his jeans at least 5 times before she stopped tripping over them, and even then they kept slipping off her small waist. She sighed and finally just took the jeans off. The shirt looked almost like a dress; it was certainly long enough, and it showed only her legs from the bottom of her knees and down. She combed her short, red hair out with her fingers, and tried not to think of how laughable she looked before opening the bathroom door and stepping out.

Andrea's eyes widned in surprise as she was cut off mid-sentence by her husband's kiss. She didn't know why, but she found herself kissing him back. She wrapped her arms around his neck, then suddenly pulled back. She glared at him, and hit him, hard, in the arm before storming out of the kitchen.

"Go away." Tyler said, trying to walk off.

Lance was in the study. He was reading. He heard the water turn off, but made no move to get up.

Isaac was smileing. If he ment that kiss or not, remained unseen.

Carlisle ignored any sound from the kitchen and opened the front door, he muttered something under his breath as he saw his mother walk out of the kitchen.

Cora sighed and watched as Andrea stormed outside. She was thinking of how little use she would be if Carlisle did need her.

Elliot shook her head, and grabbed his arm. "I can't do that," she said. "I'm sorry, but this is for your own good," She said, and disappeared with him. She reappeared in front of him. Andrew was already there, standing near the entrance and looking uninterested, though tense.

Laurinda soon found her way to the study, and opened the door. She saw him, and smiled slightly. She stepped in then, hoping he wouldn't laugh at the way she looked, though she supposed she couldn't blame him if he did.

Isaac disappearwed and reappeared next to Carlisle.

Jake stood up. "Are you sure?" He asked her.

Tyler looked as if he would love to throw every one of them in a bon fire.

Lance looked up. He couldn't help, laughter escaped his lips.

Carlisle looked at his mother and then at Cora, the look on his face asking 'What should I do?' He then glared at his father as he appeared beside him.
