The Redbird's story.

Cora was already awake but lay in bed staring at the ceiling, thinking about what their mom had said last night.

'Why would she want to leave Blake int he mountains?' she thought. 'He's her only son.'

At dawn Elliot was already outside by the lake washing clothes.

Tyler couldn't stop thinking aboot his dream. He quickly got dress and left the house. He needed to clear his mind. He walked towards the river.

Blake didn't move, as he wacthed momi walk down the shairs.

Sally got up and changed into her dress.

Layla had her back to Sally and Cora. She woke up but did move.

Cora got up and changed before going downstairs.

Elliot looked up as Tyler came towards the river. She waved at him, smiling.

TYler wasn't aying attion, if he was he would have truned around as soon as he saw her. But now he was standing near. His face became bright red when he saw Elliot, he looked away blushing. "Hello Elliot." He maaged to get out.

Elliot stood up and walked over so she was standing right in front of him.

"What's wrong Tyler?" She asked, glancing up at him.

HE remebered his dream. His dream about Elliot. He wouldn't mind see her in a wedding dress in real life one day. But they were too young ad she didn't love him anyhow.

"N--n-- nothing" He said looking away so she could't see how red his face was.

Elliot tilted her head slightly, then shrugged.

"Whatever you say," she said, turning and working on washing her clothes again, her back to him now.

Tyler sighed and closed his eyes.

Blake stood up.

Cora walked outside and went around to the back of the cottage.

Elliot started humming while she washed the clothes.

Layla eventually got up and changed then went downstairs.

Sally went down after her.

"How was your sleep?" Tyler asked still hideing his bright red face.

"Umm....well I couldn't sleep so I went outside. And I---ran into Blake," She said. "Well, more like he ran into me," she said, smiling slightly at the memory. Her smile was immediatly replaced with a frown as she continued washing clothes.

"Oh." Tyler said. "You didn't dicth him did you, did you talk to him?" Tyler asked.

"I asked him how he was. He said fine. He wouldn't even look me in the eyes, Ty," She said sadly. "I could tell he didn't want to be there. So after he said fine, I left," She said, sounding like she was about to cry again.

Cora sat out back reading her book once again.

Layla went outside and sat on the ground.

Sally wondered around.

Tyler kneeled down next to Elliot his hand on her back gently, his face still slightly pink. He was about what Blake had told him the other day when ther was a cough from behind them.

"What do we have here?" Lure asked.

Elliot sniffled, wiping her eyes with her sleeve and turned around when Lure spoke.

"Hello," she said, still looking quite sad.

Tyler quickly stood up, embrassed sightly.

Lure raised her eyebrow. "Hello." She said.

Elliot stood up, her clothes that she was washing still laying on the ground. She looked over at Lure.

Lure smiled at Tyler.

Tyler kept glanceing at Elliot.

Elliot blinked, not really understanding what was going on here. She quickly picked up her clothes.

"I'm gonna go back now..." she said, glancing at Lure then Tyler.

Lure sat and started to wash clothes.

Tyler nodded. "I'll walk you home."

Lure glared at Elliot from her coner of her eye.

Elliot could feel Lure glaring at her and felt uncomfortable.

"Okay," She said to Tyler and started walking.

Sally picked up a stick and started drawing in the dirt out of boredom.

Layla watch her.
