The Redbird's story.

"Elliot. . . . ." Mickey whispbered.

Patrick glared at Elliot. "You are what? six? What do you know about love? Nothing! All those fariy tales you mother most likey told, life isn't like that!"

Elliot had tears in her eyes now.

"I may not know much about /that/ kind of love, but I know about the kind of love you hold for your friends and family!! And isn't it the same?? They are both caring for someone. I know more than you think! "She yeleld at him.

"Elliot don't cry." Mickey said kneeling down next to Elliot.

"I'm not crying," Elliot protested, wiping her eyes on her sleeve.

PAtrick was looking away, grinding his teeth.

"Elliot you don't have to have tears running down your face to be cring." She said smoothly.

Elliot sighed and looked at Mickey.

"You're leaving now?" She asked quietly, sadly.

Mickey nodded sadly.

Elliot simply nodded and hugged her.

Mickey hugged her back and stood up.

"Mickey. . ." Patrick said looking at her with pleadeing eyes. "I'm sorry."

Elliot looked at Patrick, saying nothing, just watching. She wanted to see what he would do. She didn't believe that he was sorry.

Mickey rested her hand on top of Elliot's head.

"I think you sould go." Mickey said clamly as she could but one could hear a mix of anger and sadness in her voice.

Patrick didn't move. "Mickey. . ."

Elliot was silent as she watched Patrick, glaring at him again.

"Now Patrick." Mickey said with an edge in her voice.

"No Mickey. Not till you belive me." patrick said standing his ground.

Elliot continued to glare at Patrick. She stuck her tongue out at him.

"No you won't leave till you get your way. The reson you came today, my hand in marrige. But I will not call off my enagement, not for you, patrick, so get lost." Mickey said her words shrap.

Patrick did nothing just looking at mickey.

Elliot didn't know what to say so she remained silent.

"You're right," Patrick finally said. "I won't leave till I get your hand. I do love you. And I know you lo-"

"SHUT UP AND GET LOST!!" Mickey yelled pointing towards town, she hated the fact that he was right.

Elliot flinched when Mickey yelled even though it wasn't directed at her. She turned her eyes to Patrick, wondering what he was going to do next.

Patrick smiled, it wasn't till right at that moment did he really /know/ that she loved him back. He knew her way to well. HE knew she got angry at the truth she rather had hidden.

Mickey glared at him waitting him to say something or leave. He did nither, just stood there smileing at her.

Elliot didn't like the silence or the tension she could feel in the air. She glanced over at Tyler, wondering what to do.

TYler shurged when elliot looked at him.

"I said leave Patrick." Mickey said more clamly.

Patrick took her hand and kissed it lightly before dropping it again. "You will regat this." He said softly.

"I'm sure." Mickey said sarcassly, but she was starting to think she would too.

Elliot watched Patrick with a slight frown on her face.

"She said leave!" Matt yelled comeing up behind Them. With him was Joie and A man around 21 with dirty blond hair.

Patrick looked at Matt.

Elliot glared at Matt and Joie. She was still mad at them and moved to the other side of Tyler to be farther away from them.

'Who's that?' She thought, looking at the man with dirty blonde hair.

The man's light brown eyes looked over Patrick.

Patrick glared at Matt now. "Why should I?"
