The Redbird's story.

Blake opened his eyes again, he closed them again.

"Thank-you." He whispbered really quietly

Cora rolled her eyes but nodded, knowing he couldn't see her.

"Whatever," She mumbled, standing next to the bed still.

Elliot helped her mother make dinner.

Tyler walked into his anut Kay's cottage. Mickey was yelling at Matt. Joie must had found a place to hide.

Blake was in deep sleep.

Elliot yawned as she helped her mother, tired.

Cora sighed and walked out of the room and downstairs.

Mama smiled at Cora. "Anything happen today?"

"Tyler's alive," Cora said, as if it were the simplest thing in the world. "Matt and Joie told Elliot he wasn't, but he is."

Mama nodded.

*the next morning.*

"TYLER!" Mickey stood in the doorway of the barn.

Tyler sat up yawning.

"I told you last night not to sleep in the barn no more." Mickey said.

"So?"

Blake sat up rubbing his eyes. He looked around. "Why am I in here?"

The next morning, early, Elliot was already outside by the lake washing clothes.

Cora sat up a few moments after Blake, in her bed as well.

"You wouldn't move your lazy butt so I had to let you stay here," She said simply.

"Well that was awefully nice of you." Blake said jumping out of the bed. "But I'm pretty sure if you had asked Papa would had moved me.

Mickey rolled her eyes and truned aroud. She a pile of clothes in her arms. She headed towards the river.

Elliot continued to wash clothes.

Cora looked angry for a moment before nodding.

"Fine, next time you decide to pass out I'll have him move you," She said simply, and stood up.

Blake nodded. "Well I have to go." And ran out.

Cora blinked in surprise as Blake ran off, but said nothing.

Elliot continued washing clothes.

Mickey sat down alittle ways away from Elliot, and started washing clothes.

Layla woke up and sat up strecthing, she looked over at Sally who was still asleep. She walked over to her and poke her.

Sally opened hereyes when she felt someone poked her. "hm?", she mumbled and looked up and saw Layla then slowly sat up yawning.

Cora looked at Layla and Sally but said nothing.

Elliot saw Mickey and waved at her, smiling.

Mickey smiled, and started washing the clothes.

Tyler walked out the barn. HE started walking.

Layla got dressed and went downstairs.

Sally got dressed as well and followed Layla.

Cora dressed and followed after Sally, closing the bedroom door behind her.

Elliot soon finished and waved to Mickey before running back to her house and hanging the clothes up outside.

Mickey sighed.

Tyler was laying in the grass in the felids.

Cora wondered where Blake had gone but didn't bother looking for him.

Elliot ran inside and began sweeping.

*April 15*

"STOP THIS!" Mama yelled.

"You want us to die?!" Papa yelled back.

Mama started to cry. "Their is other ways!"

"Like what?" Papa asked.

Mama weeped, she didn't know.

Blake was sitting on his parnets bed crying quietly. It was bedtime.

"You're gonna get caught one." Mama weeped.

Cora was laying in bed, unable to sleep for their parent's yelling. Over the past time, Blake had continued to push her in the lake. She was getting more and more scared that one day he wouldn't bring the rope and she would drown. She didn't know why she didn't just tell their parents what he did, but she didn't. She listened to her parent's arguing as she lay in bed, facing the wall and pretending to be asleep.

Elliot, however, was already asleep in her bed.

Layla layed in her bed looking up at the ceiling. She just layed there quietly listening to their parents yell.

Sally layed on her side, she couldn't sleep.

Mama and Papa keep fighting.

"Please stop." Blake said, he was scared.

Papa truened his head towards his son. "Shut up." He told and slapped him across the face.

Papa wasn't ussally violent, but it was late he was tired, and ticked.

Blake cried louder.

Cora was growing annoyed by her parent's yelling and Blake's crying. She stood and walked over to the door and to her parent's room, opening the door wordlessly and looking at them.
