The Redbird's story.

Elliot continued to sing quietly to herself as they walked.

The roads became a litte busier as they made it into town.

Elliot stayed closer to Tyler and Mickey as they got into town. She hardly ever came in here but she did like it, but she got lost too easily.

Tler grip on elliot's hand tighten.

Elliot looked up at Tyler and smiled before looking forward again. She watched all the people who passed them.

Mickey truned onto the market sreet, It smelled of diffrent types of foods, and was ful of diffrent kinds of goods.

Elliot's mother was walking down the street when she saw them. She ran over and when she saw Tyler she blinked in surprise.

"Mama, see? It's a miracle, he's alive!" She cried, running over to her mom. Her mom smiled and hugged her, looking up at Mickey, confused.

"She told me he had died," she said.

Mickey looked confused. "Dead?"

Elliot let go of her mother and turned to Mickey, nodding.

"Matt and Joie told me," she said.

"Matt and Joie?" Micke looked toughtful. "Firgures." She mumbled after a few mintues.

Ms. Morgan was angry now.

"Why would they say that to her?" She demanded.

"My cosins are idoits, morons. Can you please forgive their spuiddiy?" Mickey asked kindly.

Ms. Morgan slowly nodded. "I hope they know what they put her through," She said quietly, angry. Ellioit looked up at her mother curiously.

"I'll take care of them later." Mickey said.

"No your not!" Tyler said. "I thik they still have brusies from last time you "took care of them" "

Elliot didn't understand what Tyler meant but didn't ask. She looked up at her mom, still smiling. Her mom patted her on the head.

"I have to get back now, do you want me to take her with me?" She asked Mickey, referring to Elliot. Elliot frowned.

"That is up to you. I don't mind her staying with me and Tyler." Micke said. She didn't like being at the market alone.

"Thank you," Elliot's mother said. She kissed Elliot on the forehead before hurrying back down the street.

"Come on." Mickey said walking down the rows.

Elliot hurried quickly after Mickey.

Tyler followed holding Elliots hand.

Mickey stopped every now and again and bought somethig.

Elliot smiled at Tyler then looked forward again. She couldn't wait to tell the others he was okay.

Mickey stopped to look at something. A few boys about her age saw her and started walking towards her.

Elliot tugged on Mickey's dress, watching the boys. "Who're they?" She asked.

Mickey looked up. "Uhh no one." She said truning her back to them. "Now come on."

"Mickey Lisa!" One of the boys called useing both of her first names.

"Okay," Elliot said. She glanced behind them. She didn't like the boys already.
