The big city.

Blake suddenly stood up and looked at Rose. Anger was on his face. "Why would he think that!? Who would even think Cora is able to do such a thing." He look back at Cora. "I'm sorry." He said softly to her.

Link looked away for a moment. "I'm fine." He repeated seeing that she didn't believe him. But he was lying.

"Don't you think I tried?" He asked. "I still love you, no matter how much I hate you, I will always love you too." He whispered.

Samson followed quickly. "Brianna!" He called.

Monroe smirked at Ivy. "Fun." He said simply.

Laurinda shook her head, glaring at him suddenly. "Dont' lie to me!" She shouted. She quickly shook her head, relaxing slightly and looking away. "Please," She said quietly. "Please don't lie to me. Tell me what's wrong."

Cora blinked, but besides that didn't react at all, making it impossible to tell what she was thinking. She looked at Blake suddenly, glaring at him. "Stop feeling sorry for me!" She shouted. "I don't need your pity. I'm fine."

Melanie turned away, shaking her head. "No," She said quietly. "You...you said...you shouldn't..." She shook her head, and looked back at him. "Warren..." She whispered, but then she fell silent.

"James!" Brianna called, knocking on his door again and again with her fist, tears blurring her vision. She didn't even hear Samson. "James!"

Ivy glared at her brother. "You're disgusting," She spat.

"Should I go?" Rose asked, she felt like perhaps she should not have come.

"You are fine?" Blake asked. "You won't do anything but sit there!" He shouted. He looked at Rose. "Only if you want to."

Link looked at her. He then snapped. "Don't shout at me!" He yelled. "It's none of your concern, so get lost!" He yelled. He didn't mean, but he couldn't stop himself.

Warren said nothing as he stood up. "I'm tired of loving you." He said as he began to walk away.

James opened the door a moment later. "What?" He asked.

Samson stood a little ways behind her.

"I am fine!" Cora shouted. "What's wrong with me is none of your business!" She stood up and walked over to the window, staring outside with her arms folded across her chest, saying nothing more.

Laurinda looked hurt for a moment, but quickly recovered. "None of my concern?"She asked. "How is it none of my concern?!" She yelled. "Lance, don't shut me out! I only want to help you, but you won't let me!"

Melanie knew she shouldn't run after him; she knew she should let him go. But she couldn't. "Warren!" She shouted after him, not sure what she wanted to say.

Brianna still had a hand on her cheek, but she let it drop when she saw him, tears in her eyes. Her cheek was bright red from where her father had hit her. "James!" She shouted, running forward and wrapping her smaller arms around him. "James, please don't go!" She shouted. "Please. I don't want you to go." She closed her eyes tightly, her shoulders shaking.

Rose sighed and walked over to Cora. She stood beside her and gave a small smile, "I won't regard your brother on this; Cora, do you want me to stay or go?" she asked calmly, she decided that using her power might make things worse so she didn't even try.

Blake shook his head, and stepped back. He just wanted to help her, but he was failing, like he always did. He looked down and turned to walk out of the room.

Lance glared at her. He so wanted to hug her and tell her everything, but his own mind wouldn't let him. "What if I don't want your help!?" He shouted.

James stared at her cheek, he pulled away from her ans went on his knees to be eye level. He was frowning. "Brianna? What happened to your face?"

Warren turned around. "What!?" He demanded. "Haven't you done enough?"

"I think you should both go," Cora said quietly, not turning to look at either of them. "Please. I just want to be alone." She continued to stare out the window in silence, arms folded across her chest.

Laurinda glared at him. "Then you shouldn't have let me stay here!" She shouted. "You shouldn't have told me you love me, because now, no matter what, you're stuck with me worrying about you!"

Brianna blinked, shaking her head. "N---nothing," She stammered, but finally sighed. "My da--dad," She stammered, her eyes blurring with tears. "He got m--mad," She stammered.

Melanie shook her head. "Nevermind," She said quietly. She knew he was right; she had done enough, all because she had wanted to help him. None of this was supposed to have happened, but it had, and it was her fault. "I'm sorry."

Rose nodded simply and walked towards Blake, pushing him out if the room entirely before shutting the door. "Leave her alone unless she is in need of someone, if that is the case the call me. I know you don't like it but she doesn't want help right now." She said sternly.

Blake glared at her. "Fine." He said, not sounding happy. "I'll call you if she needs help. Is that all?" He asked.

"I don't care if I'm stuck with you or if you leave again!" He shouted sitting up. He knew that wasn't true, and yet he yelled it anyways. He knew that he regret it later, but it wasn't later yet.

Something crossed over James' face. Anger? He frowned, and touched her cheek. "You'll be okay?" He asked.

Warren shook his head, and he was gone.

"That would be all." Rose said before she disappeared.

Laurinda was about to yell something else, but his words made her pause. She quickly closed her mouth, taking a step back. "I...I get it," she said quietly. "You know, you should have said something earlier!" She said, glaring at him again. "If you don't want me here, I'll leave!" She turned and stormed out of his room then, slamming the door behind her.

Brianna nodded slowly, her cheeks turning a light pink. She was over her crush on him, it seemed. Now she just didn't want to lose him. "I'll be fine. I just...don't want to go back right now," She said quietly. Lenora was standing near the door, invisible to her but not to James.

Cora sat down on the edge of her bed, staring at the window. She looked at her hand which still had her wedding ring on it, and carefully slipped it off. She placed it under the pillow on the bed.

((Anybody? I am so bored I am considering brining Carlisle back because it is killing me.))

Lance didn't hesitate to stand up and run after her.

Blake's pendent started to glow, so he followed. He was confused, what was going on?

As soon as Lance stepped outside he looked around looking for the redhead girl. Instead he heard a voice behind him. "This is getting tiring." The male voice said, but before he could turn and look at his face, Lance heard a gun shot, and then the pain hit him. He fell to the ground, blood dripping down his back.

James slowly stood up and opened the door wide for her. "Come in, ignore the boxes." He said quietly.

Robert appeared next to Cora. "I always wanted to see the day you would take off that wedding ring." He said smirking slightly.

Ava jumped as she heard a gunshot. She was sitting in the meadow and she glanced around, trying to pinpoint where the noise had come from. As soon as she realzied, she took off running.

Laurinda was facing away from the door and already near the sidewalk when she heard the voice and the noise. She spun around, her eyes widening. "LANCE!" She screamed, running towards him. She saw the blood and looked at the man, her eyes wild and panicked. She still seemed to be putting the pieces together of what had just happened.

Brianna nodded and wiped away her tears with the back of hand, stepping inside. Her cheek still throbbed but hte pain had died down. She saw her mother and the blood, and another sob escaped her lips. Lenora was frowning deeply, but still standing off to the side.

Cora didn't even look at Robert. She didn't even tell him to go away. She continued to stare out the window in silence, as if that was the only thing she still knew how to do. She had heard his voice, but was too tired, too worn down to even bother to reply. She just sat in silence and hoped that he would go away.

Blake glared at the man. "Why did you do that?" He demanded.

The man smirked. "I was payed to do so." He said as he began to walk away.

"Do you want something to drink?" James asked quietly leading her to the kicthen. "We don't have much, but you are welcome to what ever you find."

Robert sat next to her, and brushed her hair out if her face. "Cora." He said softly. "Why mourn over a fool?" He asked.

Cora shook her head, but didn't pull away. "He's not a fool," She whispered, staring down at her hands, now folded in her lap. "He wasn't. You don't know him, so don't talk about him," She said quietly.

Brianna shook her head. "No, I'm fine," she said quietly, wi ping her tears away again. Lenora followed him silence, worry crossing her face. Brianna sat down at the table, looking over at him. "So, you're leaving?" She asked quietly.

Laurinda looked at the man, her eyes narrowing. She was about to say something, but her anger quickly dissipitated, and she knelt down next to Lance, tears in her eyes. "Lance?" She whispered, touching his cheek, but quickly pulling away. She felt frozen, and was hardly thinking straight.

"I prefer not to be called a fool by a fool." Carlisle said from behind them, "I would also appreciate it if you now backed away from Cora." he added.

((Got so bored!!))

Robert smirked and grabbed Cora's arm and pulled her close to him. "Aw the fool is here." He then looked at Cora. "I don't need to know him. Only a fool would think he could keep you away from me."

Sebastian paused for a moment and turned to her again, a smirk on his lips. "You know, Laurinda, I thought you of all people would know about giving your heart away. I guess I wrong, cuz." He laughed for a moment, and shook his head. "And really, a guy is on lots of people's hit list?" He asked.

Lance didn't answer, and Blake's pendent stopped glowing.

James looked at her sadly. "Yeah." He said softly, sitting next to her.

Cora didn't turn to look at Carlisle, instead shaking her head. "He's not there," She whispered. She didn't pull away as Robert pulled her closer, just shook her head. She had heard his voice so many times, and even seen him, but he was never there. The only thing that didn't make sense now was that Robert heard him as well, but she didn't think about it much, just tried to shake his voice.

Laurinda's eyes widened as she realized who was speaking to her. She slowly turned to look at him, and her mouth formed his name, but no sound came out. She hadn't seen him since she was 7, 9 years ago. But she still remembered him clearly. "You..." She whispered, but she couldn't seem to finish. She turned back to Lance, and saw Blake's pendant. "No!" She cried. "No! Lance!" She shouted, shaking his shoulder. "Please!" She cried.

Ava ran out of the woods then, breatheless. She looked at Blake, then at Lance, then at Laurinda, eyes confused.

Brianna bit her lip and looked away. "When?" She finally managed to whisper.

"Back off now." Carlisle warned once more, his anger escalating quickly. He took a step forward and grabbed Robert by the shirt and picked him up, "I suggest you leave. Now!"

Robert laughed, almost insanely. "But I'm just getting started angel boy." He said. he then brought his own wrist to his mouth and bit down until blood pooled out. He smirked, and with his other hand he turned the blood into a long whop. "Poisonous to humans," He said looking at Cora. "Put me down, now."

Blake fell to the ground, starring at his hands, why couldn't he save him. Sebastian smirked, and shook his head.

"Useless." He said. "I'll be back my sweet little cousin." He said, and with that he was gone.

"A few days." James answered softly. He didn't want to leave.

Brianna nodded, staring down at her hands. "Right," She mumbled. She didn't want him to go; she never did, but especially not now. She didn't know what to do alone.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, and she stared at Lance's face, shaking her head. "No," She whispered. She stumbled to her feet and turned, but Sebastian was gone.

Ava knelt down next to Blake, staring at Laurinda as she knelt back down by Lance, her hands trembling.

Cora blinked, pulling herself out of the fog. "You wouldn't use that on me," She said quietly, looking at Robert.
