| A pendant on Carlisle's neck began to glow vividly as his eyes shifted back and forth between Cora and Robert. He needed something quick but nothing came to his mind. He released Robert but was still on edge, "Cora, you have to get to Blake, now." he muttered. | |

| James touched the top of her head. "I'm sorry. Nothing I can do about." He said. "Please forgive me."
~!!~ Robert smirked and the blood dropped to the floor. "Well then." He said, and looked at Cora. "How can your brother help you?" He asked. "Didn't you just hear that gun shot, he has more important matters to attend to." He laughed.
~!!~ Blake looked at Lulu "I'm sorry." He said. "My fault, I should of have been paying better attention." He said quietly.

| Cora stiffened, but showed no other signs that his words affected her. She looked at the door behind Robert, then her eyes fell on Carlisle. She still couldn't bring herself to belive that he was real. She had seen him so many times only to have her heart crushed before. She turned back to Robert, her eyes tired. "Go away," She whispered. "Please." ~!!~ Laurinda shook her head, as if she hadn't even heard him. She touched Lance's cheek with her shaking hand, trying not to scream. "He's dead," She finally managed to choke out, though she had already known it.
Ava hesitated before placing a hand on Blake's shoulder, biting her lip, unsure of what to do. ~!!~ Brianna looked up at James, tears blurring her vision. She shook her head. "It's not your fault," She said quietly, looking back down at her hands.

| Carlisle's eyes locked on to Cora and he forced himself to hide how he felt, he wasn't her husband anymore, as her guardian he couldn't let feelings get in the way so with a small frown he looked at Robert. | |

| Robert walked over to Cora, and kissed her softly. He quickly pulled away and turned to Carlisle. He was smirking. "You know, I will get her back." He said wrapping his arms around her. "Or she will die while I try." He promised.
~!!~ Blake stood up, and looked at Ava, then Lulu. "I'm sorry." He said, again. He felt so bad, he had been told to keep Lance alive, and now Lance was dead.
~!!~ James pulled his hand away. "I guess your right." He said.

| Cora's eyes widened as his lips touched hers, and she seemed to pull out of her daze. "Let go!" She shouted, struggliing to pull out of his grasp. She glared up at him. "Don't touch me. You have no right any longer!" She yelled. ~!!~ Ava stood up as well, saying nothing, just looking at him worriedly. Laurinda didn't respond; she just stared at Lance's pale face, her own impassive. ~!!~ Brianna nodded. "You have to say bye before you leave, though," She said quietly. "Okay?" She asked, looking over at him. | |

| Carlisle's face fell slightly as he watched the kiss but he quickly snapped out of it, "You'll have to get through me first because I am not leaving her side ever again." he warned, "As long as she has a pulse I will do everything in my power to stop you and your tricksz. Don't forget I was a demon, I know how you work." he said, "That is, if she wants me to stay by her." he looked back at her sadly. | |

| Robert only smirked at Cora, then he looked at Cralisle. "And you have any more of a right then she does?" He asked. "You're dead." He said. "And she is still alive, unless she kills herself you can never truly be together again, and even then, you two will belong to different worlds." He mused. "I don't care if you know how I work. I have more tricks up my sleeves then most."
~!!~ "I think you should go." He told the small girl. "I'm sure someone call the police, if you don't want to be taken back to your foster home, you should go." He said softly, looking at Ava, and going invisible.
~!!~ James smiled weakly. "I promise." He said softly.

| Laurinda shook her head, looking down at Lance. "But then where do I go?" She cried, as if he would know. She looked up, but he was invisible, as was Ava. "I can't go back there, but I have to..." She whispered, touching Lance's cold cheek again. She stumbled to her feet, shaking her head. She lived about an hour away by foot, at least she had. She had been gone so long; she wondered if they would want her back. ~!!~ Cora looked back and forth between the two, shaking her head. "I can't..." She mumbled. She finally found her feet and walked past Robert and then Carlisle, out the door and downstairs. "Blake?" She called. "Blake, is everything okay?" She called, trying to push Robert out of her mind. She knew that if Carlisle was really there, he still would be. ~!!~ Brianna nodded. "Thanks," She said quietly. She rubbed her cheek again, which was still red, before standing up. "I should go back," She said quietly. | |

| "Just go away." Carlisle muttered before following after Cora, keeping his vow to protect her. He was behind her in a flash, "Outside." he muttered to her quickly. | |

| Blake took Ava's hand, and closed his eyes as the sirens in the distance met his ears. He looked away from Lance's dead body, but he couldn't bare to leave. He didn't even hear Cora's calls.
~!!~ Robert smirked and disappeared and reappeared next to Sebastian. The boy was already far enough away from the scene of his crime. The boy dropped his cigarette.
"What the-" He was cut off by Roberts smirk.
"I have a deal for you..." Robert said, and Sebastian was all ears.
~!!~ James shook his head. "Stay as long as you want." He said.

| Cora paused near the door at the sound of sirens, and peeked outside through the curtains. Her eyes widened at the sight of the body and Laurinda kneeling next to it. She quickly turned away, her stomach turning. Blake wasn't there, at least she couldn't see him. ~!!~ Ava held his hand tightly, closing her eyes and trying not to look at the scene in front of her.
Laurinda stood up as she heard the sirens, her hands still shaking. She closed her eyes, and took one last look at Lance's pale face, then looked around. "If you're stilll here, I'm sorry," She said quietly. "Thank you for everything, and I--" She didn't finish, and turned away from the scene. She began to run before she even knew where she was going; she just knew she couldn't be there when the ambulence or police arrived. ~!!~ Brianna sighed and nodded. "But I don't want to make him any more mad than he already is," She said quietly, referring to her dad. "So I should go." She smiled sadly at him. "Thank you," She said quietly, before turning to the door.

| 1 week later Lenora felt strange, being right back where she started. It was as if she had opened a photo album to the first page and suddenly, she was a little girl again, only things were sorely different. Instead of being 9, walking through Central Park with her father’s hand in hers, she was 16, and she was dead. Though James’ apartment wasn’t near where hers used to be, the same sights surrounded her, the familiar sights and sounds of New York. It felt strange to be back, and in some ways it hurt more than it should have. She had found herself wanting to go to her old house on many occasions and see if her mother was still there, to find her friends who had never truly been friends at all. She reached over and poked James, offering him the smallest of smiles. “I’m going for a walk,” She said, standing up. She touched her pendant for a moment, just to remind herself it was still there. She doubted he would care where she went. She walked outside and started down the crowded sidewalks, her head angled down and staring at her feet. She was visible now, not that it mattered. She didn’t like to hide when she didn’t have to. She glanced up and saw a familiar face, one she hadn’t expected to see again. It was her friend, the one whose party she’d been on the way to when she’d died. She was walking along, talking on her phone and smiling and laughing, and that was when Lenora realized she’d never really known her at all. She stepped to the side and let her pass, and her eyes only met hers for a moment. She saw her blink, but the crowds passed in front of them, and then, she was gone. Lenora kept walking, shaking her head. Soon she was staring pup at her own apartment building, and she hesitated before walking inside and to the room she knew was her own. It was empty. She wasn’t sure what she’d been expecting; her mom, sitting on the couch with a book as she used to be, the TV on in the background though neither of them watched it? But she wasn’t there; the furniture was gone, and she stepped inside, stirring up dust. She walked down the small hallway to her room and opened the door. It, too, was stripped bare. The paint on the walls was faded where her pictures had been hung up, but it was empty. She slowly shut the door, sinking down to the ground and pulling her knees up to her chest as the reality of it all shook her to the core. She knew she’d been dead all along; but she’d never given her mother much thought. She knew where her father was, but now…where was she? ~!!~ Laurinda was lying on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Her bed. It still felt strange to think that it truly was hers, and that she didn’t have to share it with anyone else, that all her things were hers now, and that she wasn’t staying at someone else’s house anymore. Technically, though, she was. She didn’t think of these people as her family, yet the tears she’d seen when she’d shown up on the front porch steps with tear stains along with grass stains had been real. Her new ‘parents’ had taken her in their arms and she had said ‘sorry’, though she wasn’t. That had been a week ago. Now, she was going to school like any ‘normal’ teenager would, though she was behind in every class, and she had no friends. She was the ‘new’ one, so they stared at her strangely, that along with the fact that she’d run away had somehow gotten around. She didn’t feel ashamed, though; she carried burdens that none of them could ever hope to understand, that being the least of them. She closed her eyes, thinking about Lance. Blake came back after death; so did Ava. Why not him? She had no doubt he’d be an angel; it only made sense. Or maybe she was biased. She sat up, staring around her room. It was sparsely furnished, since she hadn’t had many things to begin with, not since she had run away the first time. She took out her journal and flipped through the now full pages, the smallest of smiles on her face. She put it back under her pillow and walked over to the window, looking at the clouds passing by in the midday sky. It was around 12, and it was Saturday, something she was grateful for. She knew that things would never be the same, yet as she sat back down on her bed, part of her wished that she could have had one more moment with Lance, one more word to tell him, one more phrase. She wished she could have had one more year with her parents, one more year to live her life with them and not wonder where they were. She wished her cousin, the one she had remembered being so close to, wasn’t the one who she had seen kill Lance. But wishing, she realized then, did nothing but make you miserable. She knew she could theoretically call the police, tell them about Sebastian. But who would take her word for it? Besides, she still loved him, much as she hated to admit it. There were too many memories there to just turn around and hate him, yet now, instead of the 11 year old she knew, she saw the one holding the gun. ~!!~ ”I have decided,” Brianna announced. “That I hate boys.” Ivy snickered, but otherwise remained silent. Brianna was sitting on her bed and looking out the window. Surprisingly, it was actually Ivy that she was talking to, not that she’d ever have imagined it this way before. Her demon was now almost a friend, given one that usually remained silent and in the shadows. Brianna sighed, closing her eyes and leaning back in her chair, thinking. Things were hard, but somehow, she was getting by, even with Monroe still here. Surprisingly, Ivy made it easier. She didn’t talk much, but when she did, her words seemed to bring some shelter or comfort. Ivy definitely didn’t do this on purpose. She didn’t know why she was still here, in all honesty. She was just trying to protect this girl from her brother, when she’d been the one who had hurt her for so long. Yet she felt closer to her now, more feelings she hadn’t felt since she was human. Thoughts of Josh still plagued her mind, and each time made her angrier still, yet she realized long ago that she had it coming. She listened to Brianna with only half interest as she spoke about her day at school, but soon it fell silent, more heavy matters coming into both their minds. Brianna was thinking about her mother and father’s arguments, and the pain that she still felt each time she thought about him hitting her, and the blood she’d seen on her mother’s cheek. Monroe still made the fighting worse, though, every chance he got, and Brianna tried to pretend she didn’t notice the bruises on her mother when she came home from school. She went straight to her room and locked herself there to avoid it herself, though she hadn’t succeeded entirely. The bruises on her arms and wrists said otherwise. Brianna turned away from the window as the yelling downstairs grew louder. She walked over to her TV and turned it on, but only got static. She turned it up anyways; the annoying sound would still help in drowning them out. ~!!~ Ashlyn had long ago given up on finding Mason, not that she’d looked so hard in the first place. She figured he didn’t want to see her, that or he couldn’t find her. But she spent most of her time in her room, laying on her bed and pretending that things were normal again, which was what she was doing now. She curled up under the covers, closing her eyes with a small sigh. She had always though death was the end, but she had been proven wrong many times over now. She placed a hand on her chest, trying to find a pulse, a heartbeat. She coudlnt’, but maybe she’ dnever been able to. She sat up in the bed and looked around the all too familiar room. She knew she should leave. She knew she was only hurting herself by staying here. What where was she ;as her who had hurt him in the first place. She didn’t know what to do any longer, and so she stayed here, in the hopes that one day,she might not wake up again. ~!!~ Melanie wasn’t quite sure when she’d given up. A few days ago, probably. She would no loger search for Warren; she wanted to give him at least some peace, and she knew that it shouldn’t, and it no longer would, involve her. After all, she aws the one who’d caused all his pain and suffering. Things could still be semi okay if she hadn’t tried to fix them and ruined them further. She looked up from her spot near the dried up lake, where she spent most of her time lately. She wouldn’t’ move from this spot unless she had to. She was clinging to one last thread of normalcy, the one thing she remembered from her life, before thigns had been broken beyond repair, by her. She wanted to fix things, turn back time, but she knew it couldn’t be done. She closed her eyes, thinking back to when water still filled the lake and she had been here with Warren, when he’d kissed her. She quickly opened her eyes, shaking her head clear of the memory. ~!!~ Ava knew she didn’t still need to be here, yet she was. She was sitting in the meadow, her violin on the grass to her left, Angel and Demon to her right. She was staring up at the clouds passing by lazily in the sky, trying not to close her eyes. Her fear of dark places was never truly gone, and now, she had something else to fear still, though her fears of him should have been long gone; Nick. He was still there each time she closed her eyes or allowed herself a moment of relaxation. She needed to know he was still in the circus realm, but couldn’t. She still hadn’t found any of the siblings, and had given up trying. She knew he wasn’t there, even now, as his face looked back at her. And she hated herself for being so frightened of him even now that he was gone. She shivered, though it wasn’t cold out at all, and closed her eyes. His image remained, and she quickly opened them again, standing up. She should be gone; she had no reason to stay here. But she didn’t want to leave, even if this was the place she had died. Blake was back in heaven, and part of her wanted to be with him, but part of her didn’t want to leave here. She didn’t want to worry him any more than he seemed to be already since Lance’s death. ~!!~ Hymn was sitting in Chris’ old cave, staring at the drawing once more, but her mind was elsewhere. Strangely, she was thinking about her sister, before they had died. She ahd always felt like the odd one out, and with good reason; Melody was the one everyone loved, the one they wished she would be like, weather or not they said it aloud. She was the dark shadow that followed around her sister, and while her smile lit up a room, Hymn’s scowl darkened it. She wasn’t sure why she was this way; it was the ways she’d always been. She had grown sick of people assuming they were so alike just because they were twins, and so she did her best to make herself different. She tore her gaze away from the wall and stood up, wondering what Melody was doing now. She shook her head at herself, scowling; who cared? Pulling her hood up over her head, she turned to leave. ~!!~ Raven was almost sure Aden had forgotten about her now. It’d been over 2 weeks, and he hadn’t once come to see her, or even tried to find her. She wondered if he was trying to find her, and part of her wanted to go to heaven and find out. Seeing him would make her feel at least a little better, or so she convinced herself. She wanted to see him; she couldn’t take being here much longer. With each day that passed Sable grew colder still. The small times when she thought he’d remembered something grew less and less until they were gone completely. She missed her brother, her old brother, and she still refused to leave ‘her’ room, though it was now Kasper’s. She stood up and closed her eyes, and when she opened them she was standing in heaven. She needed to find him somehow. She had to find him. She needed things to be okay, at least for a moment. She made her way slowly to the silver waterfall, and when she saw him she froze in her tracks, suddenly unsure of what to do. ~!!~ Sable no longer remembered a thing. Something was familiar about that young, annoying girl and the other annoying girl, yet he couldn’t place it, and each time he tried, he only got a sharp pain in his head that made him not want to try again. He just knew he was here to be Kasper’s demon, and each day he did that. ~!!~ Cora knew Carlisle was here now, but she also knew he was no longer her husband. He was dead; and it was for this reason she didn’t put the ring back on. It hurt too much, just as it hurt to see him. She was happy he was there to protect her, but in a way it felt like a cruel joke; he was there but also just out of reach. She was back at Ashley’s, sitting back on the bed and staring up at the ceiling, a frown on her face. She hadn’t moved from this room since she’d gotten here, and didn’t think she would anytime soon. She felt like she’d fallen down and couldn’t make herself get back up; she wanted to, but she just couldn’t. ~!!~ Elliot was sitting in Jake’s cavern, her knees pulled up to her chest, sitting in the corner with her chin resting on her knees, tears in her eyes. She was trying to move on, but she found you couldn’t erase your past or your heart. She couldn’t stop thinking about Tyler; she still didn’t understand quite what she’d done wrong. She missed him so much, and knew she needed him more than he needed her, apparently. All she’d done she’d done for him; it may not have been right, but she couldn’t change it, and now he was gone. Andrew was no longer there, and for that she was glad. He only made thing worse for her; he had shown her Ellie again the other day, and now she saw her face too each time she closed her eyes. The young girl still believed she didn’t care for her, and that hurt more than anything else. | |

| Carlisle sat invisibly in the corner of Cora's room. He watched Cora sadly, he had tried not to show himself when he didn't have to but this time he felt he had to, "Would you like me to leave? This isn't working, I am making it worse by being anywhere near you. I can get reassigned and you can get a new angel... If that is what you want then consider me as good as gone..." he muttered, he was visible but didn't move, "I know I promised to protect you forever but this isn't protecting you if you can't even look at me without feeling miserable. Perhaps it is the best for me to just go." he didn't want to, he still loved her and wanted her but knew he shouldn't have any of those feelings but he couldn't seem to help them.
<~~~~>
Rose was I'm a rather grumpy mood, she thought Cora would be better when Carlisle returned but it only made it worse. The moods in the household were driving her up a wall, but only because she couldn't mess with Cora's to make her happy.

| Sebastian put the crigertte out with a deep frown on his face. "You can't make up your mind, can you?" He asked the demon in front of him. With a sigh, the raven haired man leaned back in his chair. "And there is the matter of pay."
Robert smirked at him. "My mind is clearly made up. This is what I want, and as for pay, you can keep your life as payment." He said.
Sebastian's frown grew deeper. "You think I am afraid of you?" He asked.
"It would be best if you were." Robert retorted to the clueless male.
Sebastian stood up. "Even I have standers. I won't kill her without pay." He said. "And why don't you do it yourself?" He asked.
"Because that is what they would be expecting." Robert said, and walked out of the room.
A few moments later he appeared on Cora's bed, smirking at Carlisle. "You should just leave, I can love her in your place." He said.
In a way leaving would be best, if Carlisle was gone Robert wouldn't have to kill his love. But who in their right mind would leave their widow with this mad man?
~!!~ James lover at Lenora when she poked him, all he did was nodded when she said she was going out. He wasn't as talkative since he moved here. It seemed as if only his body was there, but not his soul, as if he left his should back in in his old house.
James was an empty shell of what he use to be, he was just moving through life now, no longer knowing what to do.
He stood up and walked to the window, and just stared out blankly.
~!!~ Monroe was nowhere to be seen, but Samson knew he was hanging around somewhere. Samson looked at Brianna's arms and flinched. He couldn't protect her. He felt like a falirue.
He smiled at her words. "You say that now, but one day you will be married to one, and might have one of your own." He teased lightly.
"No she won't." Monroe said as he appeared. "I won't let her live that long." He said.
~!!~ Noah appeared next to her. "Little bird, is there something wrong?" He asked Ava. "Keal said you were looking for us?" He asked. Keal had noticed the girl looking for them and was playing with her, trying to keep them all away from her. Luke appeared next to them, his brown hair falling into his face.
~!!~ Aden looked up when he heard footsteps, and his eyes met Raven's. His face grew hard, and he said nothing and just stared at her. Sadness mixed with anger in his eyes. He no longer new what to do, but he wouldn't be the first to talk, but he would have the last word.

| "Aden," Raven said slowly, as if his name itself was strange to say. The way he was looking at her made her flinch, and her own face mirrored his, though along with sadness and anger there was confusion. She didn't understand. "Aden, I'm so glad to see you," She said, but she didn't move from where she stood. "I---I thought maybe something had happened," She said quietly. "Since you never came to find me." ~!!~ Ava blinked in surprise, and her eyes stayed only on Noah. "I was," She said quietly. She felt relief, but also something else. She didn't knokw what she should say. "I---I need to see him," She blurted out suddenly, before going back to explain herself. "Nick. I keep---keep seeing his face everywhere," She whispered. "I need to know that he's really there before I can close my eyes and not feel him next to me. Please," She said quietly. ~!!~ Brianna smiled slightly and was about to respond when she saw Monroe. Her smile slowly faded and then disappeared completely. She turned away from him and Samson and stared out the window, folding her arms across her chest and leaning down farther in her chair.
Ivy stood up, glaring at her brother, but she too stood in silence. She knew she shoudln't be here, but she refused to allow him to harm her as he had her. The fear she felt each time she saw him was still there, but she had grown skilled at hiding it. Even now, shivers ran down her spine, but she held herself up high and glared at him, though she was so much smaller. ~!!~ Lenora finally stood up, wiping away her tears as she realized she had been crying. This wasn't her; she wasn't supposed to be this way. Yet seeing this room and her old home brought back memories, memories that she didn't want to remember. She walked back towards the main room, and suddenly it was as if she were back when she was younger, no more than a young girl sitting on the floor with a piece of paper and a pencil, her father sitting next to her and showing her how to draw for the very first time.
She turned back to her room and saw herself sitting on her bed, throwing his photograph at the wall in anger. She turned back and walked to the door, her hands shaking. Tears continued to fall, but now, she didn't bother to wipe them away. What was the point? ~!!~ Cora finally looked up at Carlisle, her face a mask of indifference, though inside she was screaming. "I don't--" She began, but was cut off as Robert appeared. She scooted back farther until her back was literally against the wall, pulling her knees up to her chest and saying nothing. She didn't even yell at him. She stared at him in silence, her eyes holding a distant look in them, the same one she'd had for a while now.

| The faint glow of Carlisle's necklace began to fade as he began to ponder leaving, this made him frown widely. He got up and disappeared, he then reappeared standing in front of Cora. He gently grabbed her arm, made sure Robert couldn't touch her and disappeared. He reappeared in the park down the street before letting her go, the glow returning. "Sorry... I don't like him..." he muttered | |

| Aden stood up and walked over to her. "No, I did find you. I just didn't want to wake you. You looked so conformable with that boy." He said bitterly, jealously in his voice. He made her look up at him. "If you wanted me you should of found me sooner." He said pulling back.
~!!~ Noah only nodded and stood up, offering her his hand. Luke looked at him. "Don't let her jump." He said, before he disappeared.
"He is still there." Noah promised before taking her hand and following. A moment later they were standing under the big top.
~!!~ Samson glared at Monroe, but Monroe didn't noticed. He walked over to Brianna and touched her arm, increasing her feelings of sadness. Samson knocked him away, but Monroe was still smiling, he increased Samson's small hatred for Brianna.
She reminded him so much of Mina, and she hated her for it. He looked over at her, something strange in his eyes. \

| Cora's eyes opened wide as soon as he touched her arm, and she closed her eyes. She pulled away when they were standing in the park, and simply nodded, trying not to let on how much his touch had shaken her. "Thanks," She said quietly. ~!!~ Ivy stood up, glaring at her brother. "What did you do?" She demanded, though she thought she knew. Brianna finally looked up, tears glistening in her eyes as a feeling of sadness she couldn't even comprehend came over her. She met Samson's eyes and blinked, sendind tears falling down her cheeks, but said nothing. ~!!~ Raven frowned. "Aden, what are you---" She began, but then her eyes widneed in realization. "You saw us," She said slowly, remembering the night she'd fallen asleep in the closet with Kasper. She sighed, shaking her head. "And you---" She shook her head agian. "It wasn't what it looked like," She said quietly, looking back up at him. ~!!~ Ava blinked, taking in the familiar surroundings. She had no intention of jumping, but said nothing about it. She released his hand and took a step forward, gazing up at the tightrope. She was about to say something when she saw him, standing near the other end. His eyes met hers, and for a moment she was back in her nightmares, until she realized this was real, and he really was here. He was never there when she thought he was, but he was now. | |

| Carlisle was also slightly shaken too, he hadn't touched her since he was assigned to be her guardian and that simply gave him a small tingle up his spine. He couldn't figure out why even though he knew he shouldn't want her he did. He packed off further away from her, trying to create space, "Do you want me to be reassigned?" he asked once he was satisfied with their distance. | |

| Samson glared at her and disappeared.
Monroe smiled. "I'm destroying a family." He said simply. He wrapped around her shoulder. "I'm going your job, little sister." He said looking at Brianna. "Much like how I destroyed ours." He mused.
~!!~ "It wasn't!?" He demanded. "Then what was Raven!?" He asked. "Why have you spent the last month with that boy?" He asked, hurt feeling his eyes. "Why didn't you come to me when you needed someone!?" He shouted.
~!!~ Noah looked at Ava. "Do you want me to leave?" He asked as he looked at Nick. "Or should I stay?" He asked.

| Cora shook her head, then nodded, then sighed. "I don't know," She said quietly. "It seems like it would be easier than, doesn't it?" She asked, glancing back up at him. "But at the same time, I don't--" She couldn't seem to say what she wanted, because she didn't know. ~!!~ Raven flinched, then stood up straight, glaring at him. "I was scared!" She shouted. "So I went the only place I knew, and that was home!" She cried. "Then that boy showed up, and he moved in, and I still didn't want to leave. Sable was assigned to him, Jade is there, at least I think so, I'm so confused, and all I ever wanted was to see you!" She shouted. "But I was scared then, too! I thought you had forgotten about me. That night, I just fell asleep. That was it. I can't belive you think---" She shook her head, biting her lip, her features softening. "I can't belvie you thought that," She said quietly. ~!!~ Ava shook her head, and almost without thinking grasped his hand again. "No," She said quietly, as Nick's eyes stayed locked on her own. "Stay," She said quietly. She could almost hear Nick's voice, but he didn't move closer nor farther away. He simply stared. Finally, she tugged on his arm. "I think---take me back, please," She said quietly. ~!!~ Brianna stumbled to her feet, pushing her chair back. It toppled to the floor, but she didn't pick it up. She turned and ran from the room, her door slamming shut behind her. She ran downstairs and past her parents, arguing once more in the kitchen, and ran outside.
Ivy pulled out of her brother's grasp, ignoring the shivers in her spine and ran after Brianna.

| "Well, until you decide I will stay out of sight when I can me." Carlisle muttered, he had to stone himself from comforting her the way he used to. He was hesitant to even be near her for fear of making her uncomfortable. | |

| "You were scared!?" He demanded. "I was worried sick about you!" He shouted, and stepped. "You know how long it took me to find you!?" He asked. "I don't care! I know what I saw." He spat, and stepped away from her. He shook his head. "I'm leaving." He said, and then he was gone.
~!!~ Noah looked at her sadly. "Ava." He said softly. "If you are scared, how would just seeing him help?" He asked. "Will this be enough to chase your fears away.
~!!~ Monroe only laughed and sat on the bed.
