The big city.

Lenora nodded. She touched his hand, and he disappeared back home. She stumbled back down the stairs, and looked at Layla.

"Leave the kid alone, let's go," She mumbled, hardly awake.

Cora smiled slightly at him, and kissed him back gently.

Carlisle pulled away moments later and smiled at her "I love you." he said, "I also love saying your my wife." he added

Layla rolled her eyes. "I'm not messing with her right now!", she snapped but stood up and went invisible to everyone and went outside, and saw the ambulance out front.

Bailey watched as two paramedics came in and took Alice out on a strecher. Her forehead was covered in blood by now, but they had put something on the wound to try and slow the bleeding.

They put Alice in the back and drove off quickly.

Blake kissed Ava's cheek. "I'll be back soon."

"Come on." Lance said.

"Why so early?" Blake asked.

"I have to pick up Marybeth, and I'm gonna pick up Ashlynn, I found out where she lives." He sais.

A few moments later he sitting on top of his hood of his black jagur. He was in front of Ashlynn's aprapents. Waiting.

Blake looked not to happy.

Ashlyn was in her room. The wake had almost taken everything out of her. She didn't know if she could handle this, too.

She stood up and walked into the bathroom. She was wearing a black dress that ended just above her knees and was low cut in the back, her hair hanging loose around her face. She had her contacts in, and her silver eyes stared back at her. She walked back into her room and glanced outside. She saw the car, and was downstairs and outside a few minutes later.

She walked over to the car and got into the back wordlessly.

Ava was smiling slightly, sitting on the couch. She was sad that Blake was gone, but knew that he had to go to a funeral. She was sitting in the kitchen now, reading a book and trying not to think about the nightmares that had come every night. About Nick.

Laurinda was wandering the streets again. She looked very revolting, with her greasy, dirty hair and tan skin (which wasn't actually tan; it was a nice layer of dirt). She hadn't been able to find any houses to clean up in; she had really thought that that one house would have been good, but then that crazed nutjob had shown up with a sword and his creepy redheaded friend.

She sighed lightly and looked around. It was cold; she was shivering lightly, having no jacket. Her stomach growled. She had eaten the past few days, but only what she could steal from various convenient stores, which was usually nothing more than a small bag of chips or trail mix. She was hungry for real food.

Hymn hadn't moved from the dark parts of the underworld. She seemed intent on staying there forever. she never wanted to leave. she couldn't, wouldn't, face Chris again. Ever again. Not now. It was too late.

Lenora was writing a note.

She couldn't stand this anymore; seeing Jade so sad, and then there was James. Alice was in the hospital still, and she felt that she was to blame for it. She shouldn't have tried to stop Layla. But how was she to know she was telling the truth? She was a demon, after all.

But there was nothing she could do for her. She could, however, help Jade by helping Sable.

She set the note on the table. It read

Dear Dust,
I'm going to help Sable. Please don't be mad. And take care of James if he needs it, and don't let him do anything too stupid. I should be back soon.

Then she was gone, disappeared without a trace.

Cora was sitting downstairs on the couch, watching TV. She was still feeling like she had just gotten married, though she had been married for days already. It just felt so strange to say. She smiled slightly to herself as she flipped through the channels aimlessly, not really looking at any of them.

Then she remembered what could happen to Carlisle, the reason for all of this, and her smile disappeared immediatly. The judgement angels. When would they be coming back, anyways?

Elliot was in the underworld, searching for Tyler. She couldn't take it anymore; not knowing weather or not he believed her that she really loved him. There had to be some way to prove it to him, and she would find that way. She loved him too much to give up on him now.

'Stupid Andrew,' she thought. 'He ruined everything. He always does.' It had been all she could do just to get away from him this time.

Carlisle walked downvstaris and saw Cora wasn't happy. He sat down beside her with a face of concern. "What happened?" he asked

Cora seemed to be a bit out of it, her mind a million miles away. When Carlisle suddenly spoke, she jumped. "Nothing happened," She said quickly, quietly. "I was just----thinking, is all." She refused to meet his eyes, as she always did when she was lying.

"I promised not to keep things from you on your request." Carlisle said, "Could you please return that courtesy?" he asked, he was rather concerned about her.

Lance slid off the hood of the car, and got back into the car.

Blake was in the backseat.

Lance strated the car silently.

The goddess looked at Layla frowning. "Going soft are you?" She asked, not sounding pleased.

Tyler wacthed from the coner.

James was still sleeping, he was still out of it. Even with out Layla there he was haveing nightmares of all the blood.

Dust found the note, he frowned slightly. He wished she would of have let him come with her.

Layla stood infront of the goddess with her ams crossed. "So what if I am?", she asked.

Ryan stood next to the goddesses throne looking at Layla.

Alice started wake up, she touched her head and felt the bandages. She looked around and realized she was in the hospital.

Bailey was sitting on a chair by the door. Their parents were there talking quietly about how they thought James could've shot Alice.

"You'll have to be punished." She said, about to tell Ryan to do something.

Tyler walked up, and stepped in front of his sister. "She did nothing wrong." he said defending her. "If anything she did her job, James is upset, and even more so since he knew what would happen in advance.

Walter sat next to Alice.

Ryan took out his sword and he saw the goddess looked at him. He still watched Layla and Tyler.

Layla was about to say something but closed her mouth when she saw Rayn take out his sword.

Alice looked over at Walter and smiled at him a little.

Bailey looked up and saw that Alice was awake and ran over and hugged her.

Savanna and John looked back and saw Alice was awake. "Do you know who shot you?", she asked softly.

Alice was about to answer when their fatehr interupted. "Was it James!?", he asked loudly.

"There are other ways." The goddess said."You had ne need to help anyone."

Darren appered in the liveing room near Cora, and Carlisle.

Layla stood next to Tyler now. "SO?", she said, "I don't care if I didn't need to help anyone!", she shouted.

Ryan gripped his sword tighter, and waited for the goddess to tell him to do something.

Alice shook her head slowly. "no..",she said, "It wasn't James, it was someone else...", she said.

Bailey let go of Alice and was sitting back down in the chair.

The goddess looked at Ryan. "Do as you see fit."

Tyler frowned.

Walter frowned. "You aren't just tring to protect him, are you?"

Layla looked at Ryan scared. SHe started to back away.

Ryan nodded and ran at Layla and swung his sword at her getting her in the arm.

Tyler pushed Ryan away from Layla.

Layla held her arm where Ryan had gotten her withthe sword. "Tyler don't! I don't want him going after you as well", she said.

Ryan stumbled backa little when Tyler pushed him away, he ignored Tyler for the moment and went after Layla again. and stabbed her in the stomach withthe sword.

Tyler glared at him, and went to get him off his sister, then he fell down in pain. Clara was standing behind him, an evil smile graceing her lips.

Ryan pulled his sword out of Layla's stomach and walked back over to the goddess.

Layla fell to her knees holding her stomach where she was stabbed. She looked at her hand and saw she was bleeding.

Tyler sat up, bearthing hard, and he didn't even do anything. Blood covered Clara's hands.

Layla fell to the floor and passed out from the pain.

Penny and Adrian had been watching the whole thing but Penny ran in and went to Layla.

Alice shook her head again. "I'm not protecting him!", she said, "It wasn't him", she added.

Elliot soon found Tyler, in the throne room. She saw Layla get hurt, then him. She ran in without thinking.

"Stop it!" She shouted, pushing first Ryan then Clara away from them. She knelt down next to Tyler.

"Are you okay??" She whsipered.

Ashlyn was silent. She didn't even seem to notice Blake. She stared forward, her mouth in a straight line.

Laurinda snuck into a convenience store, and stuffed a few things under her jacket, trying not to get caught.

Soon Lenora was in the underworld, searching for Sable. Little did she know, she was going the wrong way.

"It's just----" Cora sighed. "I'm just thinking about the judgement angels is all," She murmered, still refusing to meet his eyes.

Tyler nodded, not anwsering her out loud.

"We're gonna pick up Marybeth?" Blake asked.

"Oh, really?" Walter didn't know what to think.

Alice didn't say anything just looked at Walter.

Layla opened her eyes, and tried to sit up but her stomach still hurt from the wound.
