Elliot could tell he was still angry with her. She didn't know what to do. She touched Layla's shoulder lightly before turning back to Tyler. She had tears in her eyes.

"Who?" Ashlyn finally spoke. She glanced at Blake, and recognized him from that day at the carnival, when she had been forced to do something, or so it seemed. She scooted away from him a bit. Ether, who was sitting next to her but invisible to all but her, laughed.

"Mason's little sister." Lance said. "And yes. She doen't want to ride with Jerry, her older brother."

"Come on." Tyler said standing up, and stumbling. "I don't want you here." He still cared for her.

Ashlyn stared out the window after nodding. She didn't know if she could even face her. It was her fault her brother was dead. All her fault.

Elliot nodded. She refused to help him; she didn't want to touch him, not now. She walked out of the throne room without another word.

Carlisle nodded and closed his eyes, "Cora, whether I'm human or not I'll always love you. Regardless of their decision you'll forever have my heart." he opened his eyes and smiled slightly, "I know I've said if before but here it is again, I'll be here for you as long as you want me."

Blake said nothing more.

Tyler somehow managed to walk out as well.

The goddess dismissed Layla.

Ashlyn started fiddling with the bracelets on her wrist, staring at the ground. Her hand was still heavily bandaged. She'd had to have stitches on her hand from the glass from the mirror that night.

Elliot turned to face him as soon as they were out.

"If you don't believe me, I'll just go. I won't bother you ever again," She said quietly. Her voice shook, and she struggled to hold back the tears that threatened to fall.

Cora smiled slightly, and nodded. "Alright," She said quietly. It was obvious that she was still upset, but she smiled nonetheless.

Layla slowly got up and walked out of the throne room still holding her stomach.

Penny looked back at the goddess for a moment.

Bailey looked at Walter. "I don't think he would've done that to Alice", she said quietly.

Carlisle sighed sadly, "Sorry for all of this." he looked away from her, "Perhaps it would have been easier if-" he stopped himself from saying 'if I hadn't fallen in love with you' because even though it was selfish to pain her like this he couldn't let her go.

Soon they made it out the town, the frunal was in the next town over.

Tyler nodded, and truned to leave. he was sad. Oh so sad. he didn't want to lose her.

"If what?" Cora asked, looking at him, frowning slightly. "What were you going to say, Carlisle?"

Ashlyn was silent still. She stared out the window, and suddenly wished she was anywhere but here.

Elliot could have sworn she heard her heart break right there.

He didn't believe her.

He had given up.

She didn't want him to go.

"Tyler, please!" She cried, running towards him. She wrapped him in a tight hug from the back, clasping her hands together in front of him so as not to let him go. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what Andrew said, but it's not true!" She cried. "I love no one but you. No one but you. So please!" She didn't know what to say, and she felt her tearrs staining the back of his shirt.

Lenora's eyes widened.

Sable.

"Sable---" She started, but the way he looked at her told her that he was anything but himself right now. She worked up her courage, and stormed towards him. She ignored the fear she felt as she stood directly in front of him.

"Snap out of this," She said. "Please. Think of Jade."

"I don't know what you're talking about," he growled, and tried to step around her, but she blocked his path.

Carlisle looked back at her, his face sad. "Nothing important because even though I hate watching you this way I can't stop loving you." he told her, "I'm being selfish."

Tyler frowned. "I love you little one, I'm sorry. I don't know."

Lance pulled up to a huge house.

"You don't know what?" Elliot cried. "I'm sorry. I don't know how to prove it to you. Going a few years without you in life was enough. I can't go eternity without you!"

Ashlyn remained silent. She closed her eyes, putting her head back against the seat.

Ether was smiling.

Cora shook her head. "No you're not," She said quietly, extending a hand and placing it on his cheek. "You're not."

"Move!" Sable yelled, and shoved her out of the way roughly. She stumbled, but quickly picked herself back up.

"Stop!" She shouted. "I know you remember her. I know you do!" She yelled, placing a hand on his shoulder. He took her wrist and twisted it, yet she refused to show pain. "Think. Jade. You remember her, don't you?!" She cried. He ignored her, but a sudden burst of pain brought him to his knees.

Carlisle shut his eyes and relaxed into her hand, "Please stop being upset about what may happen." he asked of her, "I'll always love you and I'll always be there for you when you want me. Okay?"

Tyler sighed. "I don't want to be without you ethier." He said.

A little girl came running out, in a black dress.

"Do you believe me now?" She asked quietly, still hugging him and refusing to let go. "Do you?"

Ashlyn felt even worse, seeing that she was so young. She quickly turned her face away from the window.

Cora nodded.

She smiled slightly and hugged him.

Lenora sighed in relief, and knelt down next to him.

"Sable," She said quietly, but he pushed her off. She flew back and hit the wall, and fell into a crumpled heap on the ground.

He was still holding his head, two sides of him fighting for dominance.

Ava sighed, and looked up at the ceiling. She heard a knock on the door, and without thinking, went to answer it. The face that met hers was not one she had been expecting.

"Nick," She breathed. She slammed the door in his face and locked it, though she knew it wouldn't do much good.

Laurinda stepped out of the store, and managed to make it down the street without getting caught with the food under her jacket.

Carlisle hugged her back, "Sorry this has happened." he muttered.

"I do now." He said.

The twele year old gat into the car. "Lance I was wondering; is Mason with your sister? You know, in heaven?"

"Really?" Elliot asked, reluctantly letting him go and looking up at him.

Ashlyn froze. Lance had a sister? She didn't know that.

Heather was there next to him, though he could not see her.

"It's not your fault," Cora said quietly, not letting him go. Not yet.

Sable stood up a few moments later. He saw Lenora, and his eyes widened. He picked her up and disappeared, reappearing in James' living room. He set her down on the couch gently. She was out cold.

Ava ran uptsairs and into the room she had been staying in, locking the door behind her. She spun around and ran right into Nick.

Carlisle opened his eyes and saw Darren, "Hun, we have a visitor." he muttered to Cora. He unwillingly let her go and just stared at Darren.

Cora looked at Darren, and immediatly stood up. She said nothing, and just looked at her nervously.

"Worry not,I saw nothing." The 13 year old looking girl said. "I'm blind, mind you. One of my siblings will be here soon." She said, not looking at ethier one of them.

"Maybe." Link said, as he drove off.

She took it as a yes. "With your mom and dad too?"

"What did you do?" Dust demaned seeing them.

"That's not what I'm worried about" Carlisle muttered. He grabbed Cora's hand and held tightly.

Ashlyn felt horrible. He had already had so much taken from him, yet she was the cause of his cousin being gone as well.

Ava pushed him away and took off down the stairs, tripping but picking herself back up. She ran out the door and towards the meadow.

Cora frowned, just as Joanna appeared next to her sister. She touched her hand and looked at Cora and Carlisle, so she could see them.

"I'm...sorry," Sable said, taking a step back. "I didn't---" He cut himself off, and looked down at himself. He was still an angel? How?

Lenora mumbled something, but didn't stir.

Elliot sighed, and hugged him again tightly, not letting go. "I'm sorry," She mumbled. "So sorry."

Laurinda started walking again, not paying attention to where she was going. She passed by the house she recognized from yesterday, yet it was empty this time.

She went around to the back, and picked the lock. She stuck her head in, but no one was there.

"Hello?" She called. No answer. She sighed in relief. She knew how dangerous this was, coming back. But she would only do what she needed and then go.

She walked to the fridge, and rummaged through it for a few minutes before pulling out another sandwhich, which she ate while she climbed the stairs. She soon found the bathroom. Running water!

She finished the food and shut and locked the door behind her. She undressed and stepped in the shower, looking at the brown water now swirling around her feet. There was more dirt on her than she had originally thought.

"I don't know!!" lanc said.

Darren truned her head towards them. "I'm trying to help you."

Dust sighed. "Go vist Jade." He said sitting down next to the sofa.
