The big city.

Cora shrugged. She sat down on the edge of the couch, rubbing her tired eyes.

"I don't know why, but I'm really tired lately," She said quietly. She looked up at him, and smiled again.

"I wonder why." Carlisle said.

"Probably stress" Carmen said as she appeared on the arm on the chair Carlisle sat at, forcing him to sit right in the seat.

"Shut it!" Rose said as she appeared on his other side.

"Make me!" Carmen challenged.

"Here's an idea! Let's stop poofing from my car and walk in so I'm not alone!" Ashley complained as she walked inside.

"Sorry Ash." Rose apologized.

"Interesting family, Charlie" Annabell appeared as well.

Cora jumped, the room suddenly full. She smiled softly at Annabell, then Ashley and Rose. She also smiled at Carmen, though it was more forced than with the others.

She laughed slightly at Ashley's comment, but didn't say anything about it.

Carlisle laughed at them all and stood up, slightly uncomfortable with Carmen so close to him.

"Thanks Charlie!" Rose teased him as she slid into his seat.

"Not you too!" Carlisle shouted.

"No, I just thought I'd give it a try. I don't like it so much." She said.

"Good" he said in relief

"I'll just use it to pester you" she decided

Soon Lance was on hid way to the E.R.

Leon looked at his little sister. "What's wrong?"

Lia rolled her eyes. "Do not blame me for what Martin had done, I did not willing take her over."

Tally suddenly appered next to Cora. "Cora -" Then she blinked. "Wow! So many people!" She excaimed. She looked at Cora. "I wanted you to play with me! But I'll find Tyler and Elliot instead!" Then she disappered again.

Cora was about to say something to Tally, but she was gone. Then she looked at the others, laughing nervously. So many people made her feel strange all of a sudden.

"Then why are you here?" Sable asked.

"Hymn. And Chris. We have to help them," Melody said quickly.

Laurinda stirred, and opened her eyes and saw that she was in a car with someone. She cried out and sat up quickly, cringing as her stomach moved. She recognized Lance, and fumbled with the doorhandle.

Lance frowned. "My sister always tell me I'm reckless. Right now I'm going over the speed limt, so if you open that door no doudt you would die if you were to jump out."

"Maybe I can help." Lia said smileing.

Leon rolled his eyes. "And if I don't want to?"

Sable felt himself relax a bit.

"How?" he asked quietly, releasing Jade slightly. Raven was still in the doorway, watching.

"Pleeeeasseeeee Leon!!! She's your sister! Don't you want her to be happy?" Melody asked, looking up at him, eyes sparkling. She was giving him puppy dog eyes, as she did much when they were alive. "I can sense how sad she is. Twin telepathy, I guess." She laughed here, then looked serious again. "Please?"

Laurinda paused, then looked at him, one hand over her stomach.

"What....where are you taking me?" She asked in between breathes.

"I can earse her memories. If she doesn't have those Ruby and Zinc can't bug her anylonger. It's a small price to pay for her safty."

"FINE!" Leon yelled. "I hate when you do that."

"The E.R." Lance said, calmly, still speeding.

Sable froze. Erase her memories...?

He looked down at Jade, and saw how pale and sickly she looked. He closed his eyes, then opened them.

"Do you want to?" He asked her quietly, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes. "It'll be safe for you then..." HE said quietly, sounding close to tears, though he didn't cry.

Raven was silent still.

"I don't need to go to the ER!" Laurinda protested, sitting up straight. She flinched, and saw that she was staining his car seats with blood. "I'm fine," She said.

"YAY!" Melody exclaimed. "Good. Thank you. You go find Chris, and drag him to his old cave. I'll get Hymn," She said, then disappeared before he could protest.

Jade looked confused as if she no longer understood what was going on. "I-" Her voice was cracking.

"I geuss it's up to you, Sable." Lia said.

"Lier." Lance said. "Blake!"

Blake appered in the backseat. "Make this fast, I'm busy."

"He mumabled and went to find Chris.

Sable took a deep breathe, then nodded.

"Yes, do it," he said quietly, releasing his hold on her.

Raven shook her head. She knew what this would do to her brother.

Laurinda jumped when Blake appeared.

"Where....how....he..." she stammered, and then she fainted.

Hymn soon looked up at the sound of footsteps.

"......Melody?" She asked, blinking in surprise. It was like looking in a mirror, only wearing a bloodstained white dress.

"Yes, come on!" Melody chirped, grabbing her hand and dragging her to her feet. Hymn thrust herself from her grasp.

"No! What are you doing here? What do you want?" Hymn snapped.

"Just come one!" Melody yelled, and dragged her away.

Leon not to gently draged and dropped Chris in his old.

A few not so pretty names escaped Chris lips.

"She will not know who you are, rember that." She frowned. "She won't even know her own name."

She stepped toward Jade and placed her hand on her forehead.

"You can leave now, that's all I needed you for." lance said.

"Your mean, yu know."

Lance smiled slightly.

Melody soon dropped Hymn in there.

"This is just a big misunderstanding," She said, when Hymn began to curse at her. "Just talk to each other!" She yelled, then was gone.

Sable nodded.

"I know," he said quietly, and let her go.

Laurinda didn't stir, though she did mumble something about freaky redheads and creepy guys with swords.

Blake disappered.

Lance laguhed at what she said as he pulled in the parking lot.

He took her out of the car and walked into the E.R., where they took her from him, at once.

A nruse had a cop go up to him, and start qustioning him.

Lia pulled her hand back. And Jade opened her eyes.

"Where's am I?"

Leon disappered as well.

Chris glared and stood up.

Sable didn't know what to tell her. He couldn't even look at her anymore, knowing she didn't know who he was. But he had to try.

"Do you...recognize me?" He asked quietly.

Laurinda groaned as they layed her down on a table in another room, and cut her shirt clean off and began to clean out her wounds. They gave her something to numb the pain, and she was hardly aware of what was going on around her. Then she passed out.

Hymn stood up as well, glaring at Chris. She wanted to leave, but didn't want to be the one to do it. she would wait for him to leave.

Lance suddenly became aware of something.

She was homeless, possiabley a runaway. Thats why she didn't want to come here.

"Her name?" The cop asked.

He couldn't remeber what she said her name was, and if he did he wouldn't tell the cop. Not until after he found out why she ranaway.

This was all like what happened to Mason. He had a reason, she might of had one too.

"Heather Sparrow." He said. "She's my little sister." He lied quickly, unsure why. He didn't understand why he gave her Heather's name, he just hoped his real little sister would forgive him.

They both seemed to have the same idea, for Chris didn't move etier.

"No." Jade said standing up. "Where am I?" She repeated.

Sable shook his head. He stood up and ran from the room before Raven could stop him.

Laurinda opened her eyes a little while later. She felt something in her arm, and reached up and touched it. Needles.

She gasped and sat up, realizing she was in a hospital bed. She ripped the needles out of her arm and stood up shakily. The nurses tried to stop her, and one of them said

"Please stop. You can leave soon to go to your parents, but not now."

Parents. Did they know? Did her Aunt and Uncle come find her already?

Hymn didn't even say anything. Soon, however, the silence became unbearable for her.

"....Why are you still here?" She asked.

Jade raised her eyebrow. "Who was he? Why won't anyone tell me where I am at?"

"Your sister will fine." The doctor said, walking into the room.

"Hmm, Yeah." He said, following, not sounding to happy.

"Why are you?" He cuntered.

Raven shook her head.

"You're...." She started, but didn't finish. She took off down the stairs after her brother.

Lenora looked up as they ran past.

"Do you know what's going on?" She asked Dust quietly.

Laurinda looked at Lance as he came into the room, her eyes wide, confused. Suddenly, she looked furious.

"You told them??" She demanded. "You called my Aunt and Uncle???!"

Hymn glared at him, having no answer. She turned her back on him, folding her arms across her chest, pouting like a child would.

Lance frowned. "/Heather/ you know just as well as I do, /our/ anut and ungle are mprning the lost of /our/ cousin. They don't need to be worried about you, when Mason just died." He hoped she got the point.

He felt bad about useing his sister's name, but it had been the first thing that poped in his head.

"No." Dust said standing up. "Jade!"

"You are proveing my point. A child." Chris said.

Hymn suddenly spun around, glaring at him.

"I am not a child!" She yelled at him. "Don't you dare call me that! I know more than any child, and I'm sick of hearing everyone say that to me!"

Laurinda did catch on, but she was confused. Why did he want to help her? She had tried to steal from him.

"You'll need to feed her normal meals. It seems as though she hasn't had one for quite a while," the nurse said. Laurinda shrugged off her hand. "You can take her home now."

Lenora stood up, and ran up the stairs without giving Jade a chance to reply. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Lia had disappered, and Kate was sitting on her old bed.

Jade was standing looking confused. 'Who is Jade?'

"Yes, yes." Lance said, helping her to stand.

Chris frowned. "Stop acting like one, then I'll stop calling you that."

"Jade...." Lenora said slowly, stepping towards her. "What's wrong?"

She then saw Kate, and smiled at her before looking back at Jade.

Laurinda looked up at him, but said nothing. She just nodded.

Hymn fell silent once again, and looked away.

"She lost her memories." Kate said. "Or rather someone took them, by the premission of Sable. Now Ruby and Zinc can't hurt her."

he led her to his car. "I got you out of troble, now you have to anwesr some qustions."

"Tell me, why did you lie to me? Make me think you loved me, but you didn't?" He asked.
