The big city.

"I can't vist?" Josh asked.

"No."

Josh was surpised t see it was Aline who had anesrwed.

Blake sighed. "It's okay." HE said softly. "What was it about?"

Christapor leaned down and kissed her cheek.

Ivy looked at Aline, but said nothing. She went back to the rocking chair, taking a seat and watching Brianna, who was still sleeping peacaefully, for once in her life.

Ava shook her head, pursing her lips together tightly. A tear rolled down her cheek.

"Nick," She said quietly. Her hands were shaking again. "I was with him. And I wasn't try---trying to get aw--away," She said quietly. Her stomach turned again. She leaned against him again, his presence calming her down. She was soon back asleep in a few moments.

Hymn sighed in content in her sleep. She thought it was Chris. She reached out for his hand involuntarily, though in her dream she was somewhere else, somewhere far away.

Cora turned over in her sleep, though she didn't wake. She was still curled into a small ball.

Laurinda was hungry and tired. It was summer; she couldn't get food from school now. The night was warm, sweat sticking her oversized t shirt to her small frame. Her shorts went down to her knees, which had scrapes and cuts on them.

She was looking for somewhere, anywhere, to clean up and get a good night's rest. A house that was empty.

She soon found one; Link's house. She saw no lights on and went around back. She was skilled at picking locks, and soon found her way into the kitchen. She stumbled around in the dark for a moment before turning the light on. She listened, and heard nothing, so she began rummaging through his fridge.

She took out three apples, bread, some sort of sandwich meat, and milk. She made herself a sandwich, not bothering to put the bread back. She ate it quickly, as if it were her first meal in years. Then she dug into one of the apples, pausing now and then to drink some milk that she had poured into a cup.

She turned, and accidentally knocked down the milk. She watched it spill onto the ground. She muttered something under her breathe, and put a few paper towels down on it, deciding that was good enough. Then she went back to her food, soon finishing one apple right to the core. She threw it away, then went back to her other two apples.

"Whose upstairs?" Annabell asked, that was the reason she was here.

"My wife is sleeping" Carlisle told her promptly with a large smile.

"You got married?" Anna asked, she was no longer whispering.

"Either that or I dreamed the past few amazing months of my life." Carlisle said, still whispering.

"I'll be right back." She said before disappearing and reappearing in his bed room. She gasped lightly before disappearing and reappearing next to Carlisle. "You are telling the truth!!" she shouted

"Yeah, now keep it down, Anna" Carlisle said quickly.

"How could you not invite me to your wedding?!" She complained.

"The last time I saw you you appeared to me while I was dying. I didn't exactly know where you were." He retorted, his side was all in whispers still.

"Did they come?!" Anna asked

"If by they you mean mother and father, then yes"

"What?! How long ago did you get married?!" She asked

"By the looks of it..." Carlisle looked at the clock "A few hours."

"Oh... Congrats Charlie" Annabell said.

"Why do you call me that? You use to call me Carlisle..."

"Charlie is way more modern. Get in with the times old man!" Anna laughed.

"I prefer Carlisle, thank you."

"We'll just ask your wife what she thinks when she wakes up!"

Cora turned over in her sleep again, mumbling something under her breathe that sounded like 'Carlisle'. She opened her eyes when she thought she felt someone standing next to the bed, but when she sat up and looked around, no one was there. She thought she was going crazy. She glanced next to her on the bed, but Carlisle was gone. She frowned, and wondered how long she had been asleep. She slipped out of the bed and smoothed down her hair before walking over to the door, her bare feet cold on the hardwood floor. She opened the door and poked her head out, and heard voices downstairs.

Lance sat up when he heard noise downstairs. He, without reliazeing it, grabed a sword. He walked down the stairs. "Blake?" he called. He walked into the kichen, and saw the young girl. "Who are you?" dedemaned.

Blake had fallen asleep with Ava near by, he sat and blinked, invisable to all but Lance.

"What's going on?"

Carlisle looked away from Annabell when he heard a door open upstairs. Without speaking he jumped up and bounded up the stairs, stopping just inches from Cora. "Hey." he whispered.

Cora jumped when Carlisle was suddenly standing in front of her. Then a smile slowly crept across her face.

"Hey," She said quietly. "I just came because I thought I heard voices." She glanced past him and down the stairs for a moment.

Laurinda had finished her second apple, and suddenly felt stuffed. She couldn't eat that fast; she knew that.

She heard noises upstairs, and froze. All she could think was 'Crap crap crap crap crap.'

Her fears were realized when someone with a freaking sword showed up. She had definatly picked the wrong house to break into.

However, upon closer inspection, this boy didn't seem so much older than her. 17, perhaps. Yet she still looked only 14, though she was in truth almost 16.

When he demanded who she was, she glared at him. She took a step back towards the door she had come in by, not saying a word.

Ava didn't wake up even in all the commotion. It seemed that her nightmares had worn her out.

"I'm sorry," Hymn moaned in her sleep. "So sorry."

She was still reaching for his hand, and when she found it, she didn't let go.

Ivy ignored him as if he weren't even there. Brianna was still asleep. Soon Ivy stood and touched her forehead, and Brianna groaned.

"Oh, I hope she didn't wake you" Carlisle said before he realized how many things she could think from that statement. "I mean my sister, of course. She decided to pay me a visit." As he finished his sentence the small girl popped upstairs beside him, a smile on her face.

"I didn't know you had a----" Cora began, but the girl had already shown up out of nowhere. Cora jumped, then smiled at her. Her hair and eyes reminded her very much of a younger version of herself.

"Hello there," She said, looking down at her, a soft smile on her features.

"Yeah, sorry for not telling you." Carlisle told her. "This is Annabell."

"Hi!" Annabell shouted, she went to her childish self suddenly. "Tell Carlisle he should be in with the times and go by Charlie!"

"Anna..." was all Carlisle said.

Cora stifled a laugh, then glanced at Carlisle before looking back at the younger girl.

"Yes, Charlie is a rather nice name. But I like Carlisle better, and I think he does, too," She smiled at her. She acted so young, yet Cora knew she must be much older. There was no doubt in her mind that she was an angel. "It's nice to meet you, Annaell," She added, realizing that she had forgotten to introduce herself. "I'm Cora."

Blake suddenlly appered behind the girl. "What's your name?" He asked. "Tell me." He commanded.

Josh smiled and disappered.

Aline slapped her hand away.

Christapor smiled. "My my, what did you do to me?"

"Thank you" Carlisle said with a smile.

"Hi Cora!!!" Annabell shouted before hugging Cora tightly and then letting go.

"Anna can act immature sometimes and then act older than me others times." Carlisle said.

"That's because you have the mentality of a four year old most of the time." Annabell snapped.

Cora laughed when the young girl hugged her, hugging her back. She had to smile listening to them go back and forth. It almost reminded her of her and Blake.

Laurinda bumped into Blake and stumbled forward, but managed to catch herself before she hit the ground.

"Laurinda," She blurted out, before she could stop herself. Her eyes widened as she realized she had no control over what had just happened, and turned and ran towards the front door, tripping as she did so.

Ava awoke in the commotion. She blinked hazily and looked at the girl, then Blake, then Link.

"What's going on?" She mumbled, invisible to the girl still.

Ivy glared at her but stepped back, her work done.

Brianna continued to whimper in her sleep, nightmares overtaking her.

"I'm sorry," Hymn moaned again. She had tears running down her cheeks, though she was still fast asleep. "I had to. I had to. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry." She was still holding his hand tightly.

"Anyway! Anything else Annabell?" Carlisle asked after he was stared down by his younger sister.

"Nope! I wanted to see my big brother and had the chance to meet his wife." Annabell stared, "It was nice meeting you by the way." she turned to Cora with a smile.

Cora smiled at the younger girl.

"Likewise," She said. "I hope to see you again soon."

"Likewise" Annabell curtsied lightly before disappearing.

"So... that's my sister..." Carlisle said slowly.

Cora turned to him, her face impassive, though it was obvious she was kind of upset.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a sister?" She asked suddenly.

Carlisle frowned, "Annabell was murdered when I was seventeen. I haven't talk about her since that day. The last time even saw her was the day I died, she appeared to me as an angel." he explained "I'm sorry but since I witnessed her death I haven't been able to speak about her, seeing her finally after all this time I realized how foolish it was."

Cora's anger, the little bit of it she had at him, was gone immediatly.

"Oh," She said quietly. "I'm sorry." She was silent for a moment.

"Do you have any other...uhm...siblings?" She asked.

"An older brother but I don't speak to him.... he's why both Anna and I died" Carlisle admitted to her.

"What do you mean??" Cora asked. Any tiredness she had felt was gone immediatly. Her face was laced with worry as she watched him.

"He didn't stop that guy from killing her and he is the knight who stabbed me through the gut." Carlisle told her, "Even if I'm happy now I resent him for it."

"I'm so sorry," Cora mumbled. She didn't know what else to say. She couldn't imagine what he was going through, having a family; member betray you like that. Well, actually, she could. Robert had done that to her, but he wasn't family. But it had felt close enough at the time.

"Stop!" Blake commanded. He looked at Ava. "There's a theif in the house." He told her.
