The big city.

As she began to breath deeply Carlisle backed away and found the first shirt he could find, a large over sized tee shirt. He walked around the bed and set a hand on her cheek, "Cora, it's okay. Calm down." he said in a low voice.

Cora looked at him, and nodded.

"Y---Yeah," She stammered, but she still didn't seem to be any calmer. If anything, she was worse. She was looking anywhere in the room but at him.

"Crap, just a few hours and I've already managed make her panic" Carlisle mumbled. "Rose!" he shouted but the angel didn't appear. "Rose this is serious!" he shouted again. After that didn't work he crossed the room and sat in the corner, hoping having himself further away would calm her down.

Cora sat on the bed for a few minutes. She was beyond embarrased, and she felt so bad.

"I'm sorry. I just----can't," She mumbled, refusing to look at him. "I'm sorry."

Carlisle looked up from the spot he had picked on the floor and smiled at her sweetly, "I told you, if and only if you want to. That is my wish, I wouldn't want to push you. I think crossing one hurdle is enough for today, we'll jump this one when you are ready" He told her. "I'm more than willing to wait for you, no expectations attached."

Cora had her eyes closed again, her hands clutching the edge of the bed. She finally opened them and nodded at him.

"Thanks," She mumbled, looking away again.

"Do you want me to leave so you can change out if that dress?" Carlisle asked, he was sitting with his legs crossed and his elbows leaning against them and his chin rested on his hands.

Cora nodded.

"Yes, please," She said quietly. She looked down at herself, still in her wedding dress. Then she looked back up at him, smiling slightly.

Carlisle smiled back at her before standing up. He crossed the room to stand in front of her and kissed her forehead lightly, "Sorry for making you panic." he mumbled before he grabbed a pair of jeans and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

Cora frowned. She felt horrible.

She quickly changed into a plan white dress, a cotton one that ended just below her knees. Then she hung up her wedding dress after smoothing it out. She stared at the door, then walked slowly over to the bed, and sat down on one side, pulling her knees up to her chest and resting her chin on top of them.

Carlisle changed into jeans and slid down the wall of the hallway just outside the door to their room. He leaned against it and shut his eyes, feeling bad about making Cora panic like that.

Cora forgot to tell him she was done changing.

Instead, she lay down on her side of the bed, burying herself under the covers in a small ball, closing her eyes, yet unable to sleep.

Carlisle sat there for several minutes before standing back up, he lightly opened the door. He saw her on the bed and stepped in quietly, shutting the door gently behind him. He walked to her side of the bed and sat on the floor beside it. He sat his bed against the mattress and shut his eyes.

Cora heard him come in, but didn't move. She was just a lump under the covers. She was happy, more than happy, that she was married. It was am amazing feeling, and she loved him so much. But she was embarrased now.

She mumbled something, with her head still pressed into the mattress. It was just muffled words.

Carlisle by now had forgotten about about their little discussion and was now just happy, happy that he was now married to the women he loved. He stood up and looked down at her, he walked around the bed, onto his own side and laid down beside her.

Cora didn't look at him as he lay down, but eventually she poked her head out from under the covers and yawned. She closed her eyes, and appeared to be asleep, though she wasn't.

Carlisle sighed happily. He turned to her, "I'm sorry." he mumbled under his breath.

"You have nothing to be sorry for," Cora mumbled. She opened one eye to look at him.

"I made you feel like I expected you to do that." Carlisle told her, "In reality, I don't need it. What I do need, however is for you to be happy. When you aren't happy how can I be?" he asked

Cora smiled slightly, and nodded.

"Thanks," She said quietly. She closed her eyes again, and was asleep a few momens later.

Carlisle sighed and put an arm around her waist as he moved closer to her. He closed his eyes and was soon asleep.

Lance yawned and closed his cell phone, it had been a hard day for him. He had been close to his cousin, and now he was dead. He sighed and pointed to the door. “Out, Blake.” He said. “It’s late, I’m going to bed.”

Blake looked at the clock. “Well, no, its really early.” He said seeing it was just after midnight.

“Out!” Link said, nearly yelling.

“Fine, fine.” He mumbled, and walked out of the room, Link slammed the door closed behind him.

He sighed again. “Heather?” He said softly. “Are you there?” He asked, although he knew that she couldn’t answer him, no matter how bad they wish they could, they just couldn’t communicate any longer. Unless, she entered his dreams, or took him to the Marrywind Circus.

He let out another sigh, and took off his shirt. He folded it neatly, then he put it in the dirty clothes. He took off his shoes and put neatly by his door. He quietly turned off his light, and found his way into his bed. He fell asleep before his head hit the pillow, he hadn’t realized how tired he was.

Blake walked down the stairs, he saw Ava, but didn’t, yet, realize she was crying.

“Isn’t this great,” He said, sarcastically. “I get to go to a wedding and a funeral in the same week.” It wasn’t until he was standing next to her that he saw how upset she was. “Av, what’s the matter?” He asked, worry laced in his voice. “Are you alright? Did something happen?”

Christapor was walking down the cordoors when Hymn caught his eye. She was sleeping. How lucy was he? He felt his lips curl up n a smile, and he knealed down next to her.

Warren was in the thrown room, the goddess was making him play the violin again. He seemed to be her entertamment.

Layla was back at James' house. She was still in the dress that she had worn to the wedding, she didn't feel like going back to heaven to get her clothes at the moment. She sat down on the floor in the living room, she didn't know if James was back at home for her to annoy him again or not, but she really didn't care. She petted Kira's head and looked bored.

Alice was laying in bed reading a really good book she had bought from the book store earlier.

Sally was back up in heaven wandering around like usual.

Brianna was asleep in her room, the TV casting a faint glow on her peacful face. Ivy was walking towards her when Josh appeared. She made her voice unheard to the young girl and glared at him.

"What?" She snapped.

"I---I'm f--fi---fine," Ava stammered. "Just a nig---nightmare," She breathed, trying to calm herself. Her hands were shaking, and she quickly lowered them so he wouldn't see.

Hymn didni't even seem to notice he was there. She was wallowing in self pity, and in a deep sleep. She wanted to disappear, and if she didn't wake up, then maybe she would.

Melanie was standing in the shadows of the throne room, watching Warren, her face impassive.

Heather was there, and she was sitting next to his bed. She was even more worried about him now that Mason was dead. She was sad, too. He had been her cousin as well.

She reached out a hand and touched Link's arm, though softly, careful so as not to wake him. She would have taken him to the circus, but he needed the sleep. She knew he did.

Lenora soon set her drawing pad down, and rubbed her tired eyes. She still refused to sleep on the couch if Dust was here, and moved to the floor in front of the TV, placing a pillow and a blanket down before laying there. She lay in silence, listening to the ticking of the clock, staring up at the ceiling. The moon cast a glow in through the blinds that were drawn. She was thinking. Thinking about what to do for Sable. What she could do for Sable.

Carlisle woke up soon after falling asleep, he had heard a noise down stairs, he looked at Cora quickly before getting up and walking downstairs, "Hello?" he called as he reached the bottom step, he heard no response. He wondered around the house until he saw a familiar face sitting in the corner of the kitchen.

"Did I wake you Charlie?" the small voice asked.

"Of course not, Anna." Carlisle said as he sat down next to her, "It's been awhile." he mentioned

"Yes, it has." Anna responded.

"Have I ever told you that you are too young to be that old." Carlisle told her.

"No..." she told him.
