"But it doesn't matter!" Elliot argued. "Both of us...does it matter which of us it torments? Which of us it affects?" She looked in pain as well, and it wasn't only from the argument.

Ashlyn glanced over at Mason, and stood up just as David did. He had a phone in his hand, and she frowned.

"Who are you calling?" She asked. He ignored her, and tried to walk past. "Hey," she said. "I asked you a question. Stop avoiding me," She said, blocking his exit. He just pushed past her silently.

Laurinda shook her head quickly. "No, nothing at all," She stammered quickly. She looked away, realizing she had been staring at him.

"It's fine." Carlisle told her calmly, "I'm fine, but then again how could I not be when I wake up to you every day?" he said with a smile.

"When did you become so cheesy?" Isaac asked as he came down the stairs.

Lance nodded, and picked his book back up.

"I'm sorry," Elliot said suddenly. "But Tyler, everything will be okay. I promise," she said quietly.

Andrea was a few feet behind her husband. Cora was smiling sadly at Carlisle, and looked up when he returned, her eyes immedialty narrowing.

Laurinda looked down at her hands, and left the room. She came back a few minutes later with her bag, and was rummaging through it. She pulled out a leather-bound book, and ran a hand over it in her lap.

"When did you become a jerk? Oh wait! You've always been that way!" Carlisle snapped at his father, "And since when is it a crime to show affection towards my wife? Just because you don't doesn't I can't."

"Or course I showed her affection!" He posted. "How do think you came to be?"

Tyler shook his head. "No, Elliot, it won't." He said softly.

Lance looked up at her. "What's that?" He asked.

Andrea's eyes grew wide, and she hit him in the arm, glaring at him deeper than she ever had before. Cora blinked and looked away.

Elliot shook her head. "Why not?" She asked. "What should I have done??" She demanded suddenly. "Just sat back and watched this happen to you?? You've dealt with it for so long...I just wanted to help.." She whispered.

Laurinda jumped and looked up, as if just remembering he was there. "A diary," she said quietly. "My dad gave it to me, and I've been writing in it everytime I can get a hold of a pen, and everytime I have something to say." She opened it to the first page. It was an entry from a few years ago. She opened it to the middle, which was from only a week or two ago. It obviously hadn't been used much.

"Eww... Thanks for the most disturbing image I will ever have." Carlisle said as he held back a gag.

"Stop acting like a kid." Isaac said, rubbing his arm from where she had hit him.

"You should of have waited until I returned sane. You should of have asked me what I wanted!" He shouted.

"Do you need a pen?" Link asked suddenly.

Cora had to hold back a laugh now, at the look on Carlisle's face. Andrea was glaring at her husband.

"When you stop acting like one, I will," she said simply, folding her arms across her chest and looking away.

Elliot flinched, but quickly recovered. "I'm sorry!!" She shouted. "I'm sorry, Tyler," she said quietly, as the full extent of what she had done came crashing down on her. "I...I'm sorry."

Laurinda nodded, surprised by his question. "Um...yeah," She said quietly. "That'd be great."

"I don't think i'll ever be able to get rid of that terrifying image!" Carlisle shouted, the more he tried not to think of it.

Isaac shook his head. "But that is how you came into existences." He said.

Tyler closed his eyes. "Elliot." He said softly.

Lance leaned over and pulled one off the desk, handing it to her.

"Oh, just shut up already!" Andrea shouted at him. Cora jumped.

Laurinda reached over to take the pen from him, her fingers brushing against his as she did. She felt her hand linger a moment too long before quickly pulling it back. She stared down at her diary silently.

Elliot reached out a shaking hand to touch him again, when a sudden sharp pain in the back of her had made her flinch.

"Look who's already managed to make mom angry and Carlisle grossed out. Congrats dad on the Carlisle end." Damon said as he appeared behind his parents. "Hello, mom. How are you?" he asked in an innocent voice.

Carlisle stood up and took the defensive when his brother appeared.

"Aw, Damon." Isaac said turning around. Her gestured to Carlisle. "I see you and Carlisle still hate each others guts." He said, with an amused tone in his voice.

Lance looked down at his book, saying nothing more.

"Elliot?" He asked softly.

Andrea frowned at her husband's words, then wrapped her arms around Damon, not knowing what he had done to Carlisle.

"Good to see you," she said simply, pulling back, and glaring at Isaac once more.

Elliot felt a small moan escape her lips. It hurt so bad, worse than anything she had felt in a long while. It was as if someone else were in her mind, pushing her aside.

Cora glared at Damon and stood up almost immediatly. "You have a lot of nerve, showing up here," she said, voice low and dangerous.

Laurinda put pen to paper, but nothing came to her to write. She looked up at Lance again, then back at her paper, and began to write quickly.

"Good seeing you too. I'd have visited you but the whole demon thing prevented it." Damon told her. He then turned to his father, "It appears we always will hate each other." And lastly he turned to Carlisle and Cora, "If I hadn't decided to be nice you'd both be dead so don't look at me that way."

Carlisle went tense as his hands turned into fists.

Isaac was frowning slightly, but he said nothing.

Elliot was going insane. Tyler knew this, and wrapped his arms around her.

Lance glanced up every once in a while. He was wondering what she was writing.

Andrea turned to Damon now. "What are you talking about??" She demanded. Cora glared at him. "Yes, Damon, tell her," She said.

Laurinda was writing, quickly, about all that had happend to her since she'd met Lance. SHe was scribbling away furiously now, biting her lip in concentration. She glanced up at him and met his eye for a moment, then quickly began to write again.

Elliot wanted to protest, to push him away, but she couldn't move. She groaned, and a sudden flash of pain exploded behind her eyes. She went limp.

"I was use to the demon Carlisle, we had some time together and he got a little more hurt than he is use to ." Damon told her, "I'm sorry and it won't happen again." he added.

"You sound like a little kid." Isaac felt obliged to tell him.

Lance looked back down, with a frown.

"Elliot!?" Tyler held her close. "What the matter, love?"

Andrea frowned, and listened as Cora began to yell at Damon.

"You liar! You meant to hurt him!!" She shouted.

Elliot opened her eyes, but it was obvious that something was different about her. She pushed him away, stepping back. Her eyes looked blank, lifeless....dead.

Laurinda wrote faster, but soon set the pen down. She closed the diary carefully, almost as if she were afraid she would break it, and slipped it back into her bag.

"If I had meant to kill him I would have with no time for anyone to stop me. If I wanted him dead I would have killed him so quickly he wouldn't know I had done it until he appeared as a demon by the queens side." Damon said calmly, "If I had meant to hurt him he would be way worse off then a few broken bones." he added. "But then again, I'm just a demon so why should I matter?"

Carlisle supposed he was right, Damon never took mercy on other.

Isaac sighed. "If you were thinking you wouldn't of have done it at all." He said, he glanced at Cora. "The wrath of a woman can be deadly." He said. He shrugged. "I guess that is if you are alive."

"Elliot!?" He cried. "Don't you recognize me?"

Lace looked up again. "Done?"

Cora glared first at Damon, then at Isaac. She sat back down, silently in defeat, on the couch. Andrea looked beyond anger; she was furious.

Elliot glared at him; her eyes looked as though she'd never seen him before in her life. She took another step back.

Laurinda nodded "Yep," She said. "For now." She set the bag down at her feet, yawning and stretching her legs out.
