Dust frowned. "Sorry, but I didn't like what she was, or was not wearing."

"It's okay," Ava said quietly. "It doesn't matter. He's gone, that's all that does," She said quietly.

Sable nodded. He smiled at her again, and kissed her on the cheek.

Lenora nodded. "I get that it must be uncomfortable for you," She said. "Since you're not really used to people dressing this way," She said. She remembered the time Melody had forced her into a swimsuit, and shivered visibly.

Blake looked at her sadly, and kissed her. He pulled back. "Will you be happier now?"

Jade smiled and blushed slightly. She kissed his lips quickly, and disappeared before he could kiss her back.

"It's not that." He said. "I'm use to it. It's just not right to dress that way."

Lenora shrugged. "I don't really like it, either," She said, looking down at her own clothes, a pair of jeans and a short sleeved shirt.

Sable smiled, and disappeared as well.

Ava nodded. "He's gone," She said quietly. "I don't know what I was thinking, trying to----" she quickly cut herself off.

"You didn't . . ." Blake said.

Dust smiled. "You should wear more dresses." He said.

Jade found her dress and quickly changed.

"What about the demon?" Ashley asked coldly.

"He's Carlisle's brother and nothing else to me." Rose responded but her voice revealed her pain about it.

"Did you really love him?" Ashley asked, she got off her bed and walked over to where Rose sat and sat beside her.

Rose nodded sadly, "Still do... But that doesn't matter, my job is what matters." Rose told her, "I don't need him to be happy." she was lying to herself.

Lenora looked down at her outfit, and shrugged. "I guess...." She said slowly.

"Um....didn't what?" Ava asked, quickly trying to change the subject.

Raven had found her way back to the house she used to live in. She stod looking up at it, her eyes sad.

Dust laughed. "Only if you want."

"Try to jump." Blake said. "Ava . . ."

"I'm sorry," Ava said quickly. "I just wanted....out..." She mumbled. "And I thought, things would be easier for you, too," She said. "But he's gone now," she quickly added . "So....so it doesn't matter."

Lenora smiled at him, looking back up at him.

"How would it had been easier. I wouldn't have known what happened to you." Blake said. "No, you're it doesn't matter."

"Are you mad?" Ava asked quietly.

"No." Blake said softly.

Ashlyn unlocked the door to her apartment, and threw the keys on the table near the door. She shut the door behind her, and threw her things down on the couch. She looked almost happy. It was weird.

She sat down on the couch, flipping through the few channels her TV had. She finally stopped on a news channel, and looked around, wondering if Mason was there or not. She knew Ether was.

Hymn hadn't woken up all day. It was weird. She was still fast asleep in Chris' cave.

Lenora was sitting on the couch, working on her drawing again.

Elliot was back in the dark caverns, but was in a considerably better mood than usual. She refused to let even Jake bring her down today. Or Andrew.

Ava was sitting on the couch downstairs, a book open in her lap. She was humming to herself.

Raven was back in the park, on the swings, thinking.

Laurinda was in the park as well, but on the other side, asleep on a bench.

Sable was in heaven again.

Mason appeared next to her. "How was your day?" He asked.

Chris had been by her side for at least half that long. He had a small smile on his face.

Kindell came running in. "Thay want to eat me again!"

Carlisle sat on the couch with Annabell, the two looking at the muted tv and listened to Damon beg Rose's forgiveness.

"That was centuries ago!" Damon said, "I had to if I wanted to live!" he pleaded.

"What's your excuse for her then, Damon?!" Rose asked.

"I don't have one." he said sadly.

"I can't be with a demon!" Rose shouted after several moments of silence.

"Why?!" he asked.

"Because I'm a guardian! My job description generally involves hating you guys!" Rose said.

"But you don't hate me!" Damon shouted.

"I know! And it sucks!" Rose shouted.

Eddie dropped off Alice and drove off from her house quickly. All he said was 'bye' and drove off.

Alice watched him, wondering what had gotten into today, but didn't say anything.

Layla was standingnext to Alice, invisible to her though, she had her arms crossed and was smiling what she had planned to do had worked and it had amused her. She disappeared and appeared next to James still smiling.

"What?" James demaned.

"nothing, I just had fun with Alice and 'Eddie' today", she said sitting down on the floor.

"Good," Ashlyn said, not even seeming to realize who she was talking to. "I have a date tomorrow night," She said, changing the channel again. It was impossible to tell just what she was thinking.

Elliot jumped up. "Why do you keep coming back if they try to eat you??" She asked.

Hymn finally opened her eyes, sitting up slowly. She looked around, blinking groggily.

Lenora heard Layla and sighed, walking upstairs.

James threw a pilloiw at her.

"With?" Mason asked, happy that she might be getting over him.

Kindell smiled. "I don't know." He said thoughtfully.

"Hello sleepy head." Chris said.

"Then don't try to! You love me and I love you! Isn't that enough?!" Damon shouted.

"No, it's not!" Rose shouted back, "You're a demon! I can't be with you!"

"But you want to be?" He asked hopefully.

"Yes, I mean no!" She said, "I don't want to be with a demon!"

"Forget I'm a demon for two seconds and tell the truth." Damon asked of her.

"I loved you before I knew what you were and I love you now." Rose said, Damon's face became hopeful again, "But despite that you have kept many things from me." tears began to fall down her cheeks.

"Rose...I..." Damon tried but he had nothing to say, he wiped her tears away with his thumb and frowned at her, "Sorry..." he muttered.

Layla glared at him when the pillow hit her. She picked it up and threw it back at him. "I didn't mess with Alice!", she said, "I messed with Eddie", she said crossing her arms.

"Chip," Ashlyn said, changing the channel again. "The guy with all the tattoos." She changed it again. Still she did not reveal what she was thinking.

Elliot smiled slightly. "Well, Jake isn't here, if you're looking for him," She said.

Lenora opened the door in time to see Layla get hit with a pillow. "What's going on?" She demanded.

"How long have I been asleep?" Hymn asked quietly, looking around the cave.

"Jeez I wish Cora was here..." Carlisle muttered as Rose and Damon continued talking, "She could help out..."

"But she's not so time to move on Charlie." Annabell said with a smile.

"I know. I have to get use to it until she returns." Carlisle said sadly.

"Why do you act this way, Charlie?" the young girl asked.

"Why are those two arguing like that?" Carlisle answered with a question.

"I don't know... I'm like six dude..." Annabell said bluntly

"Only on the exterior, Anna." Carlisle responded, "Anyway, it's called love. It does crazy things to you and makes you want more, but in Rose's case, it also makes you want less."

"Do you want less of Cora's love?" Annabell asked.

"I could never have enough of Cora's love." Carlisle said and just as he finished Rose and Damon walked in to the room from the kitchen.

"Damon! Just drop it!!" Rose shouted

"But I can't, Rosie!" Damon shouted, "I wan- no, I need you!"

"You can't have me!" Rose said.

Mason said nothing. He only nodded.
