"I'll stop him next time." He said, seriously. "He won't hurt you."

Tyler laughed. "You don't reconize it?" He pointed to a tree. "We plated that as a sapling when we were kids." The tree was huge.

Jade sighed. "Fine."

Ashlyn could feel Ether at her heels, but ignored her. She walked faster, walking out into the fresh air. Soon she was at the restaurant, a cafe actually. She was swept off her feet almost as soon as she entered.

"Thank goodness you're here!" The woman was saying. She looked to be in her mid thirties, and was very stressed out. "We need you, now. We'll put you through training today. Chip will teach you," She said, and pushed her back into the kitchen before she even had time to blink.

"My father," Lenora mumbled. "He kept coming before, but after I told him off a lot he finally stopped. He hasn't come back in a while, and I--" she stopped, shrugging. "I miss him."

Ava sighed. "Yes, but then you'll get hurt again!" She said. "Remember last time? You used so much energy I doubted you'd ever wake up again! I don't ever want to see you that way again," She said.

Elliot's eyes widened in recognition.

"Wow," she breathed. "It sure grew."

Meldoy smiled. "Yay!" She said. "I'll leave you to change," She said, and left the room.

"Then go find him." Dust said.

"And I can't stand seeing you like this." He said.

"It has been 1000 years." Tyler reminded her.

Jade sighed and quickly changed. When she was done, she felt exposed, and just wanted to hide.

Alice shut off the shower and got out and wrapped a towel around her. She opened the bathroom door and looked around to make sure no one was there when she saw no one she quickly went to her room and shut the door and locked it so no one could come in.

Bailey heard Alice come out of the shower, and went to her door and knocked. "Alice", she called through the door.

"Yes", she answered looking through her closet looking for something she wanted to wear.

"James called for you earlier", she said but she said it to quietly for her to understand so Alice thought she said someone else.

"ok I'll call them back in a little while", she said and pulled out a tank top and a hoody and a pear of jeans that were torn at the knees.

"What happened?" Carlisle asked, "One second you guys were all over each other and the next she won't be in the same room as you."

"Ask your wife!" Damon shouted. The two sat on the front porch talking.

"What could Cora have done to make that happen?" Carlisle asked.

"Told all of my little dark secrets to her."

"Impossible, Cora doesn't know them all." Carlisle chuckled.

"You know what I mean!" Damon shouted.

Rose was at the park. She sat on a bench with her knees curled up to her chest. Her eyes dripping with tears as she sat there silently. Carmen sat by herside but didn't speak.

Annabell was with Ashley, she had come to visit Carlisle but decided to watch over the angry girl while she was invisible.

Ashley was in her room, still angry with Rose

"I don't know where to look," Lenora mumbled. "And I said some awful things to him."

Ava frowned. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, pulling her knees up to her chest. "I didn't mean to upset you.

Elliot climbed out of his grasp, nodding. She looked around, eyes wide like a child's. "Everything's changed," she mumbled.

Melody sighed. "Are you changed yet?" she asked, standing outside the door.

"Try heaven." Dust said. "I'll go with you."

Black kissed her cheek. "Will you be okay?"

Tyler nodded. "The river has shallows now."

"Uh, yeah." Jade called.

Alice picked up her cell phone and went to call the person she thought Bailey had said, but clicked the wrong person and called Eddie. Yes, he had given her his number if she wanted to hang out or something, that was before he had tried to kiss her.

"hello?", Eddie answered his phone.

"my sister said you called earlier?", she said.

"no I didn't call", he said.

they talked on the phone for a few minutes. "alright I'll see you in a few minutes...", she said and hung up.

((yes! I felt like bringing him back in))

Lenora shook her head. "I---I don't know," She mumbled. "I mean, what I said....it can't be forgiven," She mumbled.

Ava nodded, closing her eyes and drawing in a shaky breathe. "I'll be fine," She mumbled.

Elliot turned to him, a mischievious smile on her face. She took his hand and dragged him into the shallowest part of the river, and splashed him.

Melody walked in, and grinned when she saw her. "You look so nice!" She said.

Ashlyn was dragged into the kitchen, where a man who looked to be in his early twenties, maybe 21 or 22. He had lots of tattoos and piercings, and she had to wonder what he was doing working in a cafe. As if hearing her thoughts, he answered her.

"Day job," he said. She nodded. "Name's Chip. You're the newbie, right?" He asked. Ashlyn laughed. "Yeah, I suppose that would be me," She said.

"Come on, I'll show you the ropes. You'll be a pro in no time," He said. She nodded.

"But you should at least try." Dust said softly.

Tyler smiled widely, and did the same, a laugh escapeing his lips.

"Yeah . . " She said and picked up her dress. "I'm changeing back."

Mason sat in a empty coner of the Cafe.

After a few minutes Eddie pulled up into the driveway infront of Alice's house and honk twice.

Alice came downstairs still wearing her hoody and jeans with holes in the knees. "I'll be back in a little while", she said and stuck her phone in her hoody pocket, and opened the door and waved at Eddie.

Layla was looking out the window boredly then heard honking faintly through the window and lookin gover at the car. "why is he back at her house?", she asked out loud and not realizing it.

"But Jadddde," Melody whined. "Please??"

Lenora nodded slowly. "I know, I know I should," She said quietly. "I mean, he left us...but...I still...I don't know," She sighed, and stood up. "You'll come with?" She asked quietly, looking at him.

Elliot laughed and splashed him again, ducking to the left to avoid his splashes.

After about half an hour of showing her the 'proper method to scrub the crap off of plates,' as he put it, and watching him take orders and clear off several tables, he handed her an apron and a notepad and pen.

"You are ready," He said, as if it were the biggest accomplishment in the world. She laughed, a real laugh, for once.

Clara appeared next to Rose. "Really? You're cring?"

Tyler smiled. He tried again, but he kept missing.

Mason smiled when she laughed, and resited the urge to say something.

Lenora continued to look at Dust, pleading with her eyes. "I can't do this alone," She said quietly.

Melody grinned. "Yes! Now go on to the beach, I'll go find Sable," She said.

Elliot laughed and took a few steps back, but tripped and fell back, landing with a loud 'splash' in the water.

Ashlyn hesitated before taking her first order. She wrote everything down, but dropped her pen at least twice.

"Carmen go" Rose muttered. Carmen nodded and disappeared. "What do you want?! Wasn't ruining things with Ashley enough?! Now youhave to torture me further?!" Rose snapped

Layla got up and walked to James. "hey guess what", she said leaning against the wall.

Alice grabbed one last thing and started walking to Eddie's car.

Dust smiled. "I'll go with you." He said.

"Yep." Clara chripped. "I demon goddess remeber?"

Tyler pulled her out. "Well, you ended up more wet then me!"

"Fine then Clara! What is it this time?!" Rose shouted angrily, "How could you possibly make things worse for me?!"

Lenora sighed in relief. She took his hand. "Thanks," she said quietly.

Elliot laughed and pulled him bcak down, but ended up falling back in with him.

"You did great," Chip said, as she came back to the back.

"Yeah, right," Ashlyn mumbled.

"Seriously," he said. "My first day, I broke two cups and spilled coffee on some old lady's lap." She had to stifle a laugh.

"Fine, but Alice is going off with that guy again", she said walking back to the window.

"Ashley is dead." Clara lied with ease, it was hard to tell if she was lieing or not.

Tyler laughed, and sat up, as kids started to gather around the edge. They were in swim suits. He was gald he couldn't be seen.

Jade sighed, and appeared on the beach, her arms wrapped around her.

James sighed. "Nothing I can do."

Layla looked back at James for a moment then disappeared and appeared in the backseat of Eddie's car invisible to them.

Alice got into the passenger seat, and smiled at him. "You're earlier then I'd thought you'd be", she said closing the car door.

Eddie shrugged and backed out of her driveway and drove off.

Rose raised an eyebrow at her, "Do you really think I don't know she's safe? Carlisle is at the house and he cares too much to let anything happen to her." she stated simply, although you could tell she was still worried.

Elliot looked at the kids, blinking in surprise. "I guess this isn't such a small town anymore," She said quietly.

Sable appeared a few minutes later, and stopped, eyes wide, when he saw Jade.

Lenora disappeared, and reappeared in heaven. She looked around, unsure of where to even start. Her grip on Dust's hand tightened.

Hymn was still asleep in Chris' cave.

Ava was still sitting outside, staring blankly at the woods.

"IT's huge!" Tyler said. "The felids we played in, apartment complexs."

Jade didn't notice him yet. Her arms were still wrapped around her chest, and she was stareing at sea. On her face wasn't the happiest look.

Dust smiled down at her.

Clara smiled. "Well, believe what you want. Stay here and let lay in her own blood."
