The big city.

Laurinda's eyes widened. Suddenly, her stomach growled and she tried to cover it up by coughing, but it didn't work.

"You don't know?? You just....sent him flying!" Ashlyn said, perhaps a bit too loudly. Ether was frowning.

Raven pushed herself higher on the swing, and wished that she could go back to life and been less of a klutz. Maybe they would still be alive that way.

Lance smiled. "What do want to eat?"

Mason shrugged. "I don't know."

"Food," Laurinda said, smirking slightly as she started it again.

Ashlyn shook her head, and picked up her bags, sighing.

"Those idiots just can't leave me alone, can they?" She mumbled to herself as she continued walking again.

"I don't know what to do. I can't live without her but she can't be around me without being upset." Carlisle muttered.

"You'll have to try." Blake said. "Do you really think she would want to see you like this? Wouldn't it make her feel gulity?

Lance laughed. "I would hope." He said, he stood up and left. He retruned a moment later with a banna nut muffin.

"Did you tell someone?" He asked.

"Why would I?" Ashlyn asked. "This is my fight, and I'll fight it myself. It's my fault, anyways. I started fights with them, and now they can't let it go."

Laurinda took the muffin graciously, and ate it quickly, though she knew that that couldn't be good for her stomach.

Raven stood up and walked to the other end of the park, sitting on a tree stump. She buried her head in her hands. Where was Sable? Why hadn't he come to talk to her yet?

"Since when did you start caring enough to not let your sister see me as a mess?" Carlisle asked, "Before we married you'd have been thrilled that she left me, even if it is just for awhile." He began to sweep a hand through his hair to untangle the knots as he spoke, quickly moving onto straightening his button down shirt.

Anger flared in Blake's eyes. "I don't care; about you. I care about my sister! I always did, always will! And I don't want to see her sad just because your a mess!" His voice was slowly riseing. He had been tring to keep his voice. He had been trying to be nice to his brother-in-law. But he couldn't take it. He took a deep breath and lowed his voice. "She likes, she loves you. If you make her happy so be it."

"Why?" He asked. "Why did you strat them."

Lance sat down. "How are you feeling?"

Ava was standing by the door, and heard Blake's voice rising. She debated stepping out, but decided against it. This was none of her business.

"I didn't mean to," Ashlyn said slowly. "Ever since mom---" she cut herself off, and shook her head. "Ever since my dad started drinking, I guess I just....changed," She said, shrugging. "I got angry, and kids decided to mess with me. So I messed back." She kept walking, holding the bags in her hands.

Laurinda shrugged.

"Better now, thanks," she said quietly, taking another small bite of the muffin. "Um....thanks, for all of this," she mumbled, suddenly getting embarrased. "I'll leave as soon as I can, don't worry," she said.

Carlisle stopped straightening himself and looked ad Blake with a raised eyebrow, "Jeez Blake, it was just a statement, no need to yell." He said, "Well now that we've had an oh so lovely chat I think I'll go before Cora sees me. Thank you for convincing me to go." he then turned away from Blake and started back home, "Have a nice day." he shouted behind him.

Blake sighed, and walked back inside.

Lance sighed. "I'm more worried about you leaveing too soon."

"Why didn't you tell someone then?" He asked.

"Becaues it was my problem!" Ashlyn said. "I could take care of it myself, and I did. And I still am," She said, just as they came to her apartment. She opened the door with her foot, letting it slam shut before he could get in, though she knew it wouldn't matter.

Ava frowned. "Everything okay?" She asked quietly, walking over to him. "I heard yelling."

Laurinda frowned, then nodded. Soon, she finished eating, and offered him a small smile.

He appeared in front of her. "Why won't you let people help you?"

Blake nodded. "It's fine, he just makes me mad."

Lance was looking at his hands.

"Because I don't need people's help!" Ashlyn shouted, pushing past him. The man at the front desk gave her a strange look, and she scowled at him. "I can take care of myself just fine," she said, walking to the elevator and pressing the button repeatedly. Then she stepped in.

Laurinda looked away.

"I should go now," she said, pulling her feet off the bed and dropping her legs off the side. She was still wearing Blake's clothes, a large T shirt and shorts that Ava had 'borrowed' for her. "I can't stay any longer," She said, standing up, though her legs shook.

Ava nodded. She wanted to help, but she had her own worries right now. She could have sworn she saw Nick last night. It scared her.

Mason followed her, saying nothing.

"Wait, not yet." Lance said. "Wait till my anut gets back."

Blake sat down on the sofa.

Carlisle made it back home soon after and sat on the sofa, sure he had managed to stop from going to see Cora but it didn't really mean anything. He stared at the blank tv screen.

"Why?" Laurinda asked. She took a few steps towards his door. "I need to go, now. I can't do this anymore," She said.

Cora was sitting in the same room as earlier, staring blankly at the window. She hadn't seen Carlisle, though she could have if she had just moved her eyes a bit more to the left. It seemed almost as though she were in a trance of some sort.

The elevator shook, but Ashlyn didn't seem to care. Soon, she stepped off on the sixth floor and walked to her door. She opened it and started putting the food away. Her father was gone. There was a surprise; he had actually done something, taken the initiative and gone to work.

Ava sat down next to him silently, staring straight ahead. Her hands were shaking.

Raven had her head buried in her hands at the park, crying.

Lance sighed. "Well then please come back if you need anything."

"Av? What's wrong?" Blake asked.

Mason sighed.

"Nothing," Ava lied, clasping her hands together to stop their shaking. "Nothing's wrong."

Laurinda just nodded, though she knew she wouldn't. She walked down the stairs and out the door, ignoring Ava's look of curiousity. She walked down the sidewalk, her bag slung over her shoulder. It held her jacket, well Blake's, from before and her old clothes. She had left the rest of his money under his pillow, refusing to take it.

Ashlyn soon sat down at the table with a sandwich, and ate slowly. She stared straight ahead silently.

"Sure?" He asked.

Clara appeeared in Ashly's house, a smirk on her face.

Lance sighed and wacthed her go.

Ashley frowned when Clara appeared. Rose just glared at her, "What do you want?" Rose snapped.

"To do my job!" She said, and pointed at Ashly. She twisted her mind.

Rose gave Clara one last glare before turning to Ashley. She began to calm her mind slowly beginning to revert her mind back to sanity.

Ashlyn glanced at Mason, and realized something then. Something that made her almost choke on her food. She threw the rest away and slammed the door to her room closed behind her.

"Positive," Ava lied. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to calm herself.
