The big city.

Layla glared at James. "Why are you so mad today?!", she snapped.

"Jack?" Elliot asked. "Jake?" She asked again, as if just now registering his words. "But........why?" She finally asked, blinking in surprise.

Lenora didn't argue this time; instead, she turned and went downstairs. She briefly wondered where Dust was, but didn't think of it for long. She grabbed her drawing pad and a pencil and ran outside, her vision blurred by tears.

Hymn closed her eyes, enjoying his touch. Finally, she reached up and grabbed his hand so he would stop. She looked at him, and her eyes said that she wanted to say something, yet no words came out of her mouth.

"You have to tell me," Raven protested. "I'm part of this, too!"

Her younger side was showing again.

Laurinda continued walking, until she realized she was in front of Link's house. She shook her head and picked up the pace.

Ashlyn closed her eyes, and a thought passed through her head. Whatever it was that had stopped her last time from pulling the trigger couldn't stop her if she took the whole bottle of pills. there would be no going back after that. Her life had been getting worse the past week, even worse since 'Mason's' arrival. She had killed him, after all. Now she was feeling guilty, and that guilt had taken on his form to drive her to suicide once more. That was the only logical explanation.

She shook out quite a few of the pills into her hand.

Aden smiled, and disappered, looking for Jade.

The boy smiled. "I'm Kindell Moonlight, you can't say you can't see the simlaries."

Chrsi looked at her. "What's wrong?"

Mason looked at her. "Don't take that many!"

"I don't understand," Hymn said quietly. "How you can love me. I was here as you grew up, while you were still human, and I helped keep you prisoner here," She said quietly, releasing his hand and taking a step back. "I didn't ever once try and help you get away. Yet you can love me?"

Raven cried out, but he was gone. Soon, she found Melody, and informed her of what was going on.

Elliot's eyes widened in recognition. She nodded.

"I didn't know he had a brother..." She mumbled.

Ashlyn didn't seem to hear him. He wasn't real, that was what she thought. What she knew. Angels and demons were real, but there was no way it was him.

Ether smirked when she saw that Ashlynn had made up her mind, and touched her arm and made her guilt at least ten times worse.

She dropped the large handful of pills in her mouth, but didn't swallow yet.

"We all make mistakes. "Chris said.

Aden appered next to Jade.

"Well he kind of killed me." Kindell said softly. "By accident." He added.

"No." Mason said. "Please!" he begged. The a thought came to him. "I may not be real, but what would you think the real mason would think if you did this?" He was real but needed to get through to her.

"You're not the only one he's killed," Elliot whispered, thoughts of her charge that he had killed coming back to her. She closed her eyes, trying to control her anger and sadness.

Melody was soon standing next to Aden, glaring at him. Raven was there a few moments later.

Hymn shook her head.

"It was more than a mistake," She said. "It was your life. Maybe, if I had done something, you wouldn't have had to die. You could have been okay, lived your life, been normal instead of being trapped here for all eternity."

It was obvious that she had been thinking about this for a while.

Ashlyn pursed her lips together tightly, shaking her head. What would the real Mason think? He'd be disgusted with her. that only made her want to swallow the pills more. Ether touched her arm again, and Ashlyn felt torn between her decisions.

Layla sighed. "I went to see Alice today, that why George was here while I wasn't", she said, "they have her head bandaged up, but she looks fine", she added, and sent a picture of what Alice had looked like in the hospital into his head, but she wasn't glaring.

"I know." Kindell said. "I know."

Aden smiled again. "Is there something the matter, I'm about to help her."

"No, would you hacve fallen in love with me if I was human, would you have kissed me if I lived a long life? Would I have fallen in love with you?" He asked.

He sighed. "You can always do what you didn't do for me, for that child Cora pormised the goddess." He said softly, taking a step towards her, and wrapping her in a hug. "It's to anyways, for me. And happy you didn't, if you did, I wouldn't be holding you right now.

Mason frowned, and sighed. "i can't do anything to stop you can I? You won't let me. I want to help you, even if I'm just something you made up." One day he'll get her believe he was real.

"So why are you here, then? Just for a friendly visit?" Elliot asked, slightly taken aback.

"Yes, but how?" Melody demanded. Raven continued to glare at him.

Hymn knew that his logic made sense, somewhere in the back of her mind. Yet she found it hard to accept right now.

She nodded and allowed him to hug her, and after a few moments she even hugged him back.

Ashlyn knew it. He had even just said it. He wasn't real. The real Mason was gone, and seeing this...this thing that her mind had made up wasn't helping her 'shut up and get over it plan'.

She spit the pills out into the palm of her hand, tears streaming down her cheeks. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't. Not with 'Mason' sitting right there. Why had he shown up in the first place? Why couldn't she have just got it over with then?

Lenora walked around to the back of the house, and sat down. She buried her head in her hands, closing her eyes tightly. She wanted to help James; that was all she had ever wanted, ever since she had shown up here. Yet he was making it hard. So very hard. She wanted to give up.

Dust sat next to her. "Lenora." He said softly.

"Nope, I came to annoy him as usaul." Kindell said.

He ran his fingers through her long hair. "I love you."

Mason sighed, and smiled. "Thankyou."

---Next morning----

Cora was already up the next morning, had taken a shower, and was sitting downstairs on the couch, watching TV. She was wearing another dress, this one white and ended just below her knees. She changed the channel, smiling slightly.

Lenora had spent the last day sitting alone, trying to keep her distance from James. She wanted him to cool down before she tried to talk to him again. She always seemed to say the wrong things, and wanted to just keep her mouth shut for once.

She was sitting at the kitchen table right now with her drawing pad. SHe had been working on a drwawing since yetserday that she had let no one see.

Elliot was sitting in Jake's cavern, thinking about Kindell. And jake. And 'Jack'. It was all very confusing, really.

Andrew was standing near the entrance, watching her, unseen.

Ashlyn hadn't moved from her bed since the pill incident the day before. She lay curled up under the covers. Her father hadn't even come to check on her once. He didn't care. And why should he?

Hymn was sitting in Chris' cave again, looking at the drawings. She felt less guitly after their talk, but she still didn't feel exactly great about herself.

Brianna was watching TV, Ivy next to her. Ivy had been acting....strange, latey.

Raven was back on earth. She didn't know what Aden had done, or even if it had worked. Meldoy had sent her away, for her own 'safety', she had said. Raven rolled her eyes as she thought about it. She wasn't 11, like she looked. She was much older than that.

She glanced at her brother out of the corner of her eye, who was still asleep under one of the trees at the park.

Laurinda was alseep in an alleyway near the exit of the city, her head on Blake's jacket, using it as a makeshift pillow. Her money was running low; soon, she'd be back to stealing.

Ava glanced at Nick, who was still asleep. Now. Now was her chance.

Quietly, very quietly, she stood up and closed her eyes. She disappeared, reappearing down the street form Link's house. She just had to make it back now, without him waking up and seeing she was gone. But she knew that not even Blake could keep her safe. Would he think she had left him? She didn't know.

She started running down the street, but her legs gave out half way. She was exhausted, not having slept more than an hour at a time in a week. She ached, too, from all the times Nick had hurt her.

She pushed herself to her feet and continued on. Her power was gone; he had practically drained it from her, 'borrowing' it so much. It would take a while to come back.

She stumbled closer to Link's house, and soon it came into view. It made her push herself more, and soon she was at the front door, where she fell once more, this time not getting up, eyes closed.

Carlisle had finished his shower and was getting dressed. He brushed a comb through his hair and brushed his teeth, walking out of the bathroom he heard the Tv down stairs and walked down the stairs two at a time and plopped down on the couch beside Cora, "Morning Love." he said with a boyish grin.

Lance opened his door, hearing something outside. "Blake it's for you!" He called, and a moment later Blake was carring Ava upstairs.

Aline looked at Ivy frowning. Then just appered. He didn't even look at Ivy.

He dropped an old doll on Brianna's lap. "That was Aline's she won't mind, I promise."

Jade woke up, and looked around. She had been asleep since Aden gave her back her memories, but something wasn't right.

She looked around for someone, a certain someone.

Laurinda had decided that she should at least thank Lance for what he had done for her. She didn't know what had put the thought in her mind, but a few minutes later she was standing in front of his house. She was filthy, her shirt still boodstained and dirty, but she didn't seem to care. She walked up just as Blake carreid someone in, and waved half-heartedly at Lance.

Brianna's face lit up when Josh showed up, and even more when she saw the doll. She smiled at him.

"Thank you so much!" She said. Ivy found herself staring at him, yet she didn't bother to look away.

Cora smiled at Carlisle.

"Good morning," She said quietly, keeping her smile. "Sleep well?" She asked quietly.

Ashlyn didn't move. She was hoping to maybe just disappear, if she stayed curled up under the covers long enough. She wanted to forget; go back and be the girl she was before. But she knew that was impossible now.

"I'm sorry, Mason," She mumbled to herself. She remembered waht 'Mason', the imaginary one, had told her about how his death had not been her fault. It couldnt' be true. Her mind had made that up, to try and ease her guilt and make her not kill herself.

Ava didn't move; she was out cold.

Sable continued to sleep. Raven watched him. He even looked sad in his sleep.

"Very much so." Carlisle told her. "Did you sleep well?" he asked. One of his hands lightly wrapped in her hair while the fingers on the other intertwined with hers.

Jade disappered and reappered in the park. "Raven do you know where my brother is?"

Josh nodded. Aline looked stunned.

Josh glance at Aline. "You threw at a wall when you were ten! I didn't think you'll miss it that much." He teased. He didn't look at Ivy.

Mason sighed. "How can I prove to you, that I'm real?"

Blake laid her on her bed.

Lance left the door open for the young girl to enter.

Raven's eyes widened, as she jumped up from the swing.

"You remember!" She cried. She quiclky lowered her voice, aso as not to wake the sleeping Sable. "You remember," She whispered.

Ivy finally looked away. She hated herself right now, more than she hated anything.

Brianna saw Ivy, and frowned. She looked almost....sad.

Cora nodded, and smiled at him. She yawned, and held his hand tightly.

Ashlyn looked at her imaginary friend, as she had dubbed him. Wasn't she too old for that?

"I can't talk to things that aren't real. If I ignore you, you'll go away. That's how it worked with imaginary friends when I was little," She said simply, and stood up.

Laurinda walked up to the door, but no further. She didnt want to come in.

"I just wanted to uhm...thank you...for the money," she mumbled.

Ava didn't move, but she began to speak in her sleep once more.

"Please...." She whispered.

"Hold on." Lance and walked away, and came back, with his wallet, he pulled some more out and handed it to her. "Take it willingly this time, please."

Jade nodded. "Where's Dust?"

"And If I don't?" He asked.

"What?" Blake asked.

"I'm sorry for what I said to you before," Raven said quietly. "I was just upset. Dust is at James' house, I think. But what about Sable? Can't you tell him you're okay? He's been horrible since you lost your memory," She pleaded.

"I said I'm sorry," Ava mumbled.

Laurinda's eyes widened, and she shook her head.

"I didn't come here for more money," She said, almost angrily. "I came here to thank you. So, thanks," She said again.

His words made Ashlyn pause, but then she shook her head.

"You will," She mumbled, and walked out into the kitchen. She came back a few minutes later with a box of pizza from the fridge, left over from a few nights ago. She sat on her bed, turned on the TV and turned it up loud to drown out 'Mason' if he treid to talk, and began to eat.

"Stop with the happy!" Rose shouted as she walked down stairs.

"I thought you liked happy." Carlisle retorted.

"Yeah but your happy is sickening!" she snapped.

"Get use to it! I'm happy and you can't stop it!" Carlisle stuck his tongue out at her childishly.

"Why are we shouting?" Carmen appeared in the room.

"Apparently, Carlisle won't stop being happy." Ashley said as she walked downstairs as she tied her hair back.

"And its not changing!" Carlisle added.

"Don't make me change it!" Rose retorted.

"My happy can't be changed your way!" Carlisle said happily. He took his hand out of Cora's hair and wrapped it around her shoulder's instead, still holding her hand slightly.

"Fine! Be that way!" Rose stormed back up stairs.

"Enjoy your happy." Carmen said before walking up stairs.

"Why so cheery anyways?" Ashley asked.

"I can't be happy? I'm married to the most wonderful women on the planet. Isn't that enough?" he asked.

Cora's cheeks turned bright red during all of this discussion; when it was mostly just her and Carlisle again, she offered him a small smile.

"Oh, I see." Ashley then walked up stairs to get ready for school.

"Charlie!" Annabell shouted as she appeared on her brothers lap and without moving his hand from Cora's he gently placed it over the young girls torso to hug her.

"Hi Anna." Carlisle said with a small smile.

"That girl yells too much." Annabell said.

"I know this." Carlisle laughed

Cora smiled at the small girl when she suddenly showed up. Those sorts of things didn't really surprise her anymore; she was only too used to it when she was an angel.

"Hello, Annabell," She said queitly.

Annabell smiled at Cora and moved away from Carlisle's grip and gave Cora a hug. Carlisle smiled at his little sister as she hugged Cora. Annabell didn't move away from Cora after hugging her and instead sat on her lap instead. The girl was being a normal 6 year old rather than acting older.

Cora smiled and hugged her back, then laughed slightly as she sat on her lap. She was reminded of Tally when she looked at her, and found herself wondering where she was. She was also reminded of a younger her.
