The big city.

"Hey Tally" Carlisle said kneeling down to look her in the eye. "She is still at the house getting ready. She'll be here soon I'm sure." He said with a smile, "You look very nice" he added.

Ava bit her lip, hesitating, but finally nodded.

"Alright," She said quietly. "Alright, I'll go." She would still feel out of place and awkward, but maybe if she stuck with Blake it would be better.

Elliot felt a tear slip down her cheek once he was gone, but quickly wiped it away. No, she would not be sad. Not today. It was Cora's day. She quickly followed him, appearing next to him on the beach. Unlike what he thought, she did not pity him. She loved him more than she had ever loved Blake.

Ashlyn's eyes widened as she realized, and heard Felix's voice.

"No," She whispered. " No!" She cried, kneeling dwon next to him. "Mason," She said, lifting his head and placing it in her lap. "Mason, stay with me, don't go, please!" She was....crying? Yes, she was crying, for the first time in so long.

"Can we do this alone?" Lenora asked quietly. Her dad shrugged, looking thoughtful. THen he nodded. "I have a plan," He said, and before she could protest he had taken her hand and disappeared.

Sable sighed, and walked inside. He didn't know how much longer he could take this. He noticed Lenora was gone, but figured she had just gone to the park again. She spent more of her time there than she did here, though the time she spent here was normally lcoked in the bathroom.

Cora smiled.

"Thanks, Rose," She said. "I owe you a lot for all of this. We could'nt have done it without you." She smiled at her.

"It's nothing really." Rose said as she began to put Cora's hair up. "You nervous?" she asked.

Tally nodded and smiled hugely. "Okay!" She said, not real big on manners to thank him. She suddenly ran off to play in the sand.

"Thank-you." Blake said, smileing for the first time today, and offered her his hand.

Tyler glance at her and walked away.

Mason opened his eyes just long enough to smile at her. "I'm sorry." He whispbered, as a tear slid down his cheek. He didn't want die. He reached for her hand, but before he could grab it he went unconcious again. His breathing came in short sallow breaths. His time was near.

Jade suddenly fell off the bed, when she was tring to get away from them.

Ether said nothing, standing in the corner. Ashlyn didn't even seem to notice her.

"Mason, please!" She whispered, taking his hand. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't of let you stay here. I should have made you take the medicine...I was selfish....please, don't die!" She cried, brushing his hair out of his eyes. A tear from her cheek fell and landed on his.

Elliot felt a tug at her heart, but ignored it. No, she was here for Cora today. Nothing would stop that.

She looked around at those already gathered here, and saw Tally. Her smile came back and she ran over to her. SHe couldn't remember the last time she had seen her.

"Hello, Tally," She said, coming up behind her. She was figering the locket around her neck that she had gotten from Tyler's family so very long ago.

sable heard a thud upstairs and ran into Kate's old room. He saw Jade on the floor and smiled lightly, offering her a hand to hlep her up. He was different; quieter, more tired. He wouldn't last much longer like this.

Ava bit her lip then nodded. She took his hand, though she was nervous.

"What if they don't like me?" She asked suddenly, then yelled at herself for asking it.

Cora shrugged, looking at herself in the mirror, smiling.

"Not really," she said quietly. "I mean, I know I should be, but I'm just.....not," She said, wondering if she was even making any sense.

Lenora and her father talked in hushed tones in the underworld. She had forgotten her anger at him, at least for now. The plan was for him to distract the goddess, and lenora to find the bottle that held his soul. Just then Hymn came up behind them.

"It's not with the others," she said, and they both jumped, fearing they had been caught.

"I see." Was all Rose said before continuing with her hair. "How would you like me to do this?" she asked suddenly, not wanting to do something wrong.

"Cute kid." Carlisle said as he stood up to face Marlys once again.

Cora shrugged. "I just didn't want it in front of my eyes is all," She said quietly, smiling at her. "You can do whatever you wish," she added with a small laugh.

"Very." She agreed.

Mason didn't open his eyes again. He let out one final grasp, as his heart beat slower and slower till it finally stopped.

Tally looked at Elliot. "That's pretty." Tally said pointing to the necklace, then she hugged her. "I missed you. Where's Tyler?"

Jade frowned. "Sable are you okay?" She asked worried. "Have you been sleeping?"

Blake smiled. "it doesn't matter if they don't like you." He said. "I like you, that's all that matters."

That was one reason why Blake didn't do something to stop the wedding, it only mattered that Cora like Carlisle.

"Right." Rose said before braiding her hair quickly. "That should keep it out of your eyes." she said with a smile.

Cora nodded.

"Thanks," She said quietly. She looked at herself in the mirror. She had never found herself as pretty as some people liked to tell her she was, but she was satisfied with the way she looked, and that was all that mattered.

Ashlyn refused to let him go.

"No, Mason!!" She cried. It was a good thing her father was at 'work', though the neighbors might hear her. "Please, no!!"

She didn't know how long she sat there with his dead body. She hugged him tightly before finally letting go, setting him down gently on the carpet. She picked up the phone and dialed Link's number. She waited as it rang.

Ava smiled slightly at him, and listened as the phone began to ring.

"Should we get that....?" She asked, unsure if they were going to be late or not.

Elliot's heart hurt again at the mention of the necklace and Tyler, but she ignored it. She looked around instead.

"Around here somewhere," She said, hugging the younger girl back. Then she stood up and looked around again.

He just shrugged. "Some," Was all he would say.

Lenora's father stepped in front of his daughter as if to protect her, but Hymn only rolled her eyes.

"Relax, I'm not going to bust you," She said. "I'm here to help."

This obvious cuaght both of them by surprise. "what?" Lenora finally asked. Hymn rolled her eyes.

"I'm here to help," She repeated herself slower, as if she were stupid.

"No, their leave a message, plus it's most likely for Betty or Lance." Blake said.

"Oh." Tally said. "How have you been Elliot?"

Jade frowned. "Please get some sleep." She said, worried. "I love you, I can't stand seeing you this way." She said, but it was easy to see she wasn't sleeping much ethier.

"But why?" Lenora asked. Hymn sighed in exasperation. "Does it matter?" She asked. "The point is I'm going to help. It's not with the other souls; it's somewhere else, under lock and key," she said.

"Wheres the key?" Her father asked.

"Arond the goddess' neck," Hymn said. Lenora looked down.

"Alright," Ava said. She squeezed his hand lightly and smiled at him.

Ashlyn listened as it went to voicemail. She hung up and called the police instead.

"I will," Sable lied. "Soon. Right now I have to go check on Raven again," he said.

"Happy!" Tally said.

He smiled back and disappered, reappering on the beach, still holding her hand.

Jade frowned, she heard his lie. "No. I'll check on her." She said. "You sleep."

Sable just nodded. He didn't even have the energy to argue.

"How are you going to get it?" Lenora finally asked.

Hymn shrugged. "The goddess is always looking for fun. Perhaps a game will convince her to hand it over," She said. "I'll get it. You two wait here, and don't let any of the demons get you," She said. She was only half joking as she disapperaed, reappearing in the goddess' throne room.

elliot laughed.

"That's good to hear," she said, patting her lightly on the head. She ha missed her so much. She looked around, seraching for Sally or Layla, but instead she saw Blake and Ava. She smiled at them and walked over.

Ava smiled at her.

"Thanks again, I can't thank you enough for getting rid of him," She said, referring to Nick. Elliot just shrugged.

"Hello, Blake," She said.

Soon the police had come, along with an ambulence. The ambulence took Mason's body away while Ashlyn was taken back to the police station for 'questioning'. She didn't even seem to care. They said that those at the hospital would call those who needed to know about Mason.

She kissed him lightly. "Thank you."

A few moments later she was standing next to Raven. "Raven what's wrong?"

The goddess looked at Hymn, she had been talking to Chris.

"What do you want?"

"Hello, Elliot. How are you?" He asked.

Layla was walking along the beach looking bored, she didn't go to far though, she could still see the other but they were far away she sat on on large rocks and looked out at the water. Kira was with Layla and stood next to her.

Sally was still where she had been standing.

Penny and Adrian walked through the underworld. They were slowly getting used to it, but still didn't really like it down there.

"Good," she lied. "How are you?" She asked him. Ava said nothing.

Sable walked downstairs and sat on the couch, but didn't sleep. He couldn't.

Raven didn't even answer her. She just turned her head away, saying nothing.

"I want you to let Dust go," Hymn said simply, cutting straight to the point.

Chris frowned.

"Leave." The goddess told Chris. A moment later he was gone. "Then lets play a game."

"Raven, you are woring your brother." SHe said. "He looks aweful."

~~
Blake tried to smile. "Fine."

"You worry him, too," Raven said, speaking for once, though her voice was quiet and dead.

Hymn just nodded.

"What kind of game?" She asked.

Elliot could tell it was a forced smile, but just nodded. She looked around. She wanted to find Tyler.

"You both look nice," She said, before turning to go. Ava smiled lightly.

Sable's head began to throb. He didn't know why.

Jade looked down. "Yes, I know, and I deeply regat that." She said. "can you please tell me what is wrong?"

She smiled. "I'll give you 24 hours to break Chris' heart, you do that and I'll give you the key."

"You always look nice." Blake said, quietly, to Ava, after Elliot was gone.

Tyler was sitting down. Thinking.

"Shell we finish getting ready?" Rose asked her. Ashley had left and gone into her room to change.

Cora nodded.

"Yes, let's," She said, standing up and smiling at her. She walked into the room and picked up the wedding dress carefully.

"It's nothing," she mumbled.

Ava's cheeks turned a light pink, and she smiled slightly.

"Thanks," She mumbled.

Elliot soon found Tyler, and sat down next to him without a word. She hoped he wouldn't run like he had been. She wanted to talk to him.

Hymn froze. She went through her options in her mind. Lenora's heart-broken face appeared in her mind, and she shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes, her hands clenched into tight fists at her sides.

Hymn knew she didn't deserve love. She would no doubt hurt him sooner or later. And Lenora....she still had a chance.

"Fine," Hymn said, opening her eyes. "I'll do it." A single tear rolled down her cheek.

"I'm worried about you too." she said sitting down next to her. "Please tell me what's wrong."

Blake smiled at her, a real smile. "I'm telling the truth."

Tyler was about to stand up and leave.

The goddess smiled. "Go."

Rose followed after her quickly. she closed the door behind her and waited for Cora to need her help. Rose was still wearing jeans and a tee shirt as she stood there, her dress hanging up in Ashley's room.

Carlisle took a seat near the front, a wave of nerves and thrills rushing through him. He looked up as someone sat down beside him, "Hi Carmen." he said before looking back down.

"Nervous?" Carmen asked.

"Happy" he corrected quickly.

"Good, you deserve to be happy." she said and she set a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry for the trouble I have caused." she told him.

"It's fine. If you had messed anything up we'd have problems but despite that all she stills wants me." He said.

"Are you sure you want her?" Carmen asked

"That's a stupid question, Carmen. Of course I want her." He told her without a thought even needed.

Cora slipped out of her dress and into her wedding dress. She stepped over to the mirror and looked at herself. The dress itself had no sleeves, and went down to her ankles. She smiled at her reflection, which smiled back.

She opened the door and looked at Rose.

"Can you uhm...zip up the back?" She asked her, turning around.

"My mom's dead," She mumbled.

Elliot reached out and grabbed his arm.

"Please don't walk away," She said quietly. "We need to talk."

Hymn nodded and turned and left the throne room. She found Lenora and her father.

"Give me 24 hours. You'll have the key by then."

Lenora nodded, and then they were gone. Hymn sank down against the wall, cradling her head in her hands.
