She had broken his jaw. He glared at her retreating form.

Blake shook his head. "Cora, I'll visit when you're not having so much ... fun" He said, an disappeared.

~!!~
Jake was frowning. "Get her out of here." He spat, and looked at Kindell, who's wrist was healed.

The small boy ran over to her, and touched her cheek lightly.

Cora sighed as she watched Blake disappear, and hugged the small girl tighter. Damon was gone now as well, leaving just her, Carlisle, and Isaac in the room. It was still one too many for her.

Andrea was mumbling furiously to herself under her breathe, pacing back and forth on the front porch.
~!!~
Elliot's eyelids fluttered at the young boy's touch, but didn't open. She moaned lightly in her sleep, turning and burying her face in Andrew's chest.

"My pleasure," He said, and disappeared. He reappeared in his own cave.

Annabell's cries soon lowered again until finally she was just whimpering in her sleep. She muttered something about being sorry for getting Cora wet with her tears before all that could be heard was her sniffles as she breathed.

"Thank you, you seem to calm her." Carlisle said, "I'll take you to see Blake in a bit." he promised.

Isaac rubbed his jaw, and said something that sounded like he would be back, and disappeared.

~!!~
Kindell glared at his brother, and followed Andrew.

Cora lifted the small girl, laying her on the couch gently. She nodded at Carlisle, biting her lip, her eyes sad.
~!!~
Andrew glared at Kindell. "Why are you following me?" He demanded, setting Elliot down on the ground.

Andrew mumbled something under his breathe, but ignored him. "She's bleeding again, badly," he mumbled, turning her over and looking at her slowly reddening dress. He sighed. "I have no more clothes for her," he said. "And I think she'd really kill me if I took off her dress again," He said, more to himself than to the small boy.
~!!~
Cora shook her head slowly. "It's nothing," She said quietly. She sighed, and stood up straight, stretching. She was glad that his parents were gone, if only for a few moments.

Carlisle nodded and attempted to hide the fact he didn't believe her. "Can I take you to see your brother now or wait?" he asked.

---The next night, around 8---

Raven’s voice echoed throughout the small house, frail and small, scared. She looked around the empty room that had once been Sable’s. The walls were painted black. She remembered telling him to put more color in it so many times, but he never listened to her, saying he had liked the color black. She had then argued that black was technically not a color, which had always made him laugh.

Why was she remembered all these small things? None of them mattered now. She didn’t even know why she was here. It only hurt more.

She closed her eyes, leaning her head back against the wall as her singing stopped. She had been singing to keep herself calm, as she so often had during her life. She didn’t care how childish it was. She missed her parents, she missed Aden, she missed Jade, she missed her old life, but most of all she missed Sable.

She felt like there was a hole in her heart where everyone used to be. Sable had left a huge hole, and the others, everything else, had only torn at the edges and made it bleed. She hadn’t seen Aden in a while now, though she did lose track of time when she didn’t have a need to remember it. It could have been a few days or a few weeks since she last saw him, but she felt so alone right now. Surely he had heard of what had happened; but maybe not. But why hadn’t he come to see her?

It hurt to think about. It made tears come to her eyes, and that was when she knew; she loved him. She was in love with Aden. But everyone she loved only seemed to get hurt. Sable, her parents, everyone. She figured she’d be better off alone.

But she didn’t want to be alone. She wanted Sable there, telling her everything was okay even when it wasn’t . She wanted him to tell her that he loved her, tell her how beautiful she was, hug her when she was sad, bandage her scraped knees, kiss her forehead and tuck her into bed. She remembered when she was younger and he did all of those things, and as she got older he was there for her when her friends weren’t, when she felt so alone, when she was so sad.

But now he was gone.

She pulled her knees up to her chest, and was unable to hold back her tears any longer. She felt them slip down her cheeks, and she buried her face in her hands, trying to hide them.

But no one was there to see them.
~!!~
Was this how Tyler had felt so often, Elliot wondered, as she opened her eyes slowly. The light hurt at first, and she quickly blinked it out of her eyes. She sat up slowly, her head throbbing. A small moan escaped her frail lips, and a face looked back at her.

She jumped and sat up quickly, and then the pain in her back hit her. She looked at Andrew, glaring at him.

“You better not have,” She said quietly, looking down at the now clean dress.

“No. It was Quell, not me,” He mumbled. She sighed in relief, then another stab of pain hit her. She remembered then, what she had done, and a wave of dread hit her like she had never felt before. A sinking feeling was in the pit of her stomach, and she suddenly wanted to throw up.

“What…No,” she whispered, staring down at her hands. Andrew said nothing, for once, and she wasn’t sure if she was grateful or upset for this. She looked at him.

“Is he okay?? Is Kindell okay??” She asked. He simply nodded. “Angels heal fast,” he said simply. She lay back on the ground, staring up at the ceiling.

“You’re bleeding again,” Andrew felt inclined to point out. Elliot sat up slowly, ignoring the pain.

“I don’t care. I have to go find Tyler,” she said quietly. She stood up, and he grabbed her arm.

“No,” He said simply. She glared at him.

“You’re not in charge of me,” she said, and disappeared, but it took him with her. She reappeared in the underworld, him still holding onto her arm.

“Let go!” She shouted.

“I think I liked the insane you better,” Andrew mumbled under his breathe, before releasing his hold on her.
~!!~
Ivy stared at the door, rocking back and forth slowly on the rocking chair. Her mind was elsewhere, her hands folded on her lap. She was thinking about Josh. She still didn’t understand her human emotions; she hadn’t felt them in so long. But they were there, and they were telling her she liked him. A whole lot. It was stupid, yet nice.

And then his son had shown up to be the new guardian for Brianna. That was a strange feeling, for it reminded her that he had been with someone else before, not that he was really ‘with’ her now. She felt bad for what she had done to him in life, and knew she was going softer everyday. It was troublesome.

Brianna glanced over at Ivy, then quickly looked away. She had a frown on her face. She hated her new guardian; she wanted Aline to stay. Aline was more than her guardian, she had become her friend. She didn’t want to see her go, though she was still here for now. She rolled over onto her back, glancing over at Ivy. She hadn’t done anything to her the past day or so. It was strange. She didn’t understand it, not that she was complaining. She was being left alone, and that was good. But it was also unsettling.

She stood up, and heard her parents yelling downstairs. It had gotten worse lately, and she shut her door tightly, locking it and leaning against it, sliding to the floor as the yelling grew louder. She rested her head in her hands, shaking her head over and over again. Ivy laughed, but it didn’t sound like her normal laugh.
~!!~
Hymn was sitting on Chris’ bed. She had fallen asleep holding his bed the night before last, and hadn’t woken up again until now. Her mouth tasted like blood, and everything was sore, but it seemed like she was mostly healed. Her lip wasn’t split any longer, and her forehead had no bruise any longer. She lifted her dress up, glancing at her side. It only had a small bruise left. She sighed in relief and let it fall back down, and looked around. How long had she been asleep? It felt like a while, but then again, she never knew now. Time passed by so slowly, so meaninglessly here.

She attempted to smooth out her hair with her hands, but had a feeling it hadn’t worked out very well. She slowly stood up, and stretched out her sore legs. She felt like she hadn’t moved in a long time, and as she took a few steps she realized now sore she was.
~!!~
Laurinda was sitting on a chair in the study, her eyes half-closed. She was wearing the clothes that had once belonged to Heather, now clean and washed. She had her diary open on her lap, and looked at all that she had written the past few days. It was about Lance, mostly. She bit her lip, and looked over it. It told how she thought about him all the time, and how annoying it was, but how she loved it. It showed from the way she wrote about him how much she liked him. But she had also written about how she felt like she should leave. She wasn’t sure why she felt like this. Perhaps she was afraid. She remembered those in his memories, who had tried to hurt him. She wondered if they would come back. Those who had killed his sister. Would they come back? For him?

She shut her diary, and stood up, setting it down in the chair. She walked over to the bookshelves, and began to look through them. She hated being so short. She was hardly over 5 feet. She couldn’t reach the top shelf, and reached up to try and grab a book that looked interesting to her. She couldn’t reach, no matter how high up she stretched her fingetips. She frowned, and reached higher. She must have looked ridiculous to anyone watching.
~!!~
Heather was watching, and trying not to laugh. She was invisible to her, standing near the door. She had been curious about the girl who seemed to like her brother so much. She had gone through her diary, not really caring that it was none of her business. She was dead, after all.

She saw that she was wearing her clothes, and smiled slightly at that. She leaned against the wall, watching the small girl silently. She had died at age 14, and Laurinda was now 16, but was still the same size as she had been, if not a bit smaller. She was unnaturally skinny still, Heather noticed, watching her. She frowned.
~!!~
Ava was standing in the meadow. The moon was out, and it was around 8 o clock. She had her eyes closed, playing a soft, sweet song on her violin. The wind blew her short blonde hair around her face, and she opened her eyes.

It was only then that she realized now dark it had gotten. The sun had still been out when she had begun to play, and now it was pitch black. The moon was hidden behind the trees. She felt her heart beat faster, fear making her limbs stiff and immovable. It was pitch black. She felt the darkness closing in on her lke a blanket, making her unable to breathe. She was dead, but it still hurt. She fell to her knees in the grass. The dark still scared her, terrified her. She had been getting better lately, but after seeing Nick around so many times, her fear was back. She couldn’t breathe.

She remembered the time in the attic, and all the other times this had happned to her. Her violin slipped from her hands, falling into the grass beside her. She tried to catch a breathe, but she couldn’t. She curled up into a small ball on the grass, her eyes open wide, filled with fear. She couldn’t breathe. Her eyes kept going in and out of focus, and the darkness surrounded her, pulling her tighter in its grasp.
~!!~
Lenora was sitting on the couch, staring down at her hands. The fear that Dust would go back to the way he had once been stuck with her, but she was no longer having nightmares. Her back ached, as she still refused to take the couch, but besides that she seemed to be doing better. She hadn’t talked to her father since that day in heaven, and part of her wondered why he hadn’t come to see her.

She wondered about her mother, too. Where she was. She shook off the thought quickly, picking up her drawing pad from the table. She drew many things, but the one that seemed to show up the most lately was Dust. She opened it to her latest drawing of him. It showed him standing, his wings spread out. She was working hard on getting the detail just right, since her last drawing like this hand’t been as good as she had hoped. She was a perfectionist, that was for sure.

Her hand went to work, biting her lip in concentration as she did so.
~!!~
Melanie looked around the room she now sat in silently, her mind racing a million miles a minute. She didn’t want to do this anymore. She had never wanted to do it in the first place. Every time she hurt Hope, made her sad, made her remember things she wanted to forget, she felt like she was doing the same thing to Warren. She didn’t want to hurt him. She didn’t want him to be mad at her. She had only wanted to help him; it was all she had ever wanted.

Tears were in her eyes as she closed them, and a single one escaped. She was sitting in his room, in the corner, her knees pulled up to her chest tightly. She only did the bare minimum of her job; enough that should keep the goddess happy, but also too much for her to handle much longer. She felt her heart breaking everyday more and more, and she didn’t know if it would ever be whole again. She wanted nothing more than to refuse to do her job; she didn’t mind being punished. But then the goddess would punish warren as well.

An idea came to her then. If she could make Warren hate her, if she acted like she hated him…the goddess would have no reason to hurt him if she disobeyed. She would make him hate her, then leave, go back to the underworld, and take whatever punishment she deserved. If the goddess thought the two hated each other, then she would nave no reason to punish Warren. He would be okay then, though everything would still be messed up, at least he wouldn’t be hurting anymore. He could stay with Hope, and maybe forget about her.

But she didn’t want that. But what she wanted no longer mattered anymore. She stood up, and took a deep breathe before heading towards the door.
~!!~
Andrea was sitting in the kitchen, staring at the table. She knew now why she yelled at her husband so much. She knew why she fought with him, hurt him, yelled at him, everything. He had said if she could tell him, he would leave their son alone. But her pride was getting in the way again, as it so often did.

She stood up and walked out of the kitchen, swallowing her pride and hoping to find him easily.

Cora was sitting on the couch, looking down at her hands. Her heart was filled with burdens, all not about herself. Worry about Carlisle, for one. Having his parents here couldn’t be helping anyone, especially not him. And seeing Annabell crying like that….she sighed, and lay her head back against the couch. Carlisle wasn’t going to be a demon, unless he messed up again. And his father was certainly the right one to send for it, she knew that much.
~!!~
Sable hadn’t gone sane again since that day. Even now he was wandering the underworld, unsure of who he was, nor why he was there. He didn’t understand why he felt a strange feeling in his heart, as if he’d done something wrong. He didn’t even know what this place was, just that he was supposed to be there. At least, he thought so.
~!!~
Ashlyn switched the bag to her other arm, looking around the empty, abandoned street. She sighed, and ducked into a nearby alleyway, Ether close at her heels.

David had been acting strange lately, not that he was ever very normal. But it was annoying her. He hadn’t talked to her at all the day before, and kept telling her to go away, which she then reminded him of what he had done, and that if he kicked her out she’d go the police. But he must have known that that would mean turning herself in, and that she would do it, too, for he would drop it after that.

She walked faster through the alley when a voice came to her ears.

“Hey, Ashlyn,” the voice said, inviting. She spun around, and a sharp pain exploded in her stomach. She realized that what the boy held in his hand was a gun, and that the pain was because he had shot her.

She stumbled back, a hand placed over her stomach. She felt the blood seeping through her fingers. She was suddenly glad Mason wasn’t here, or she thought he wasn’t. She zipped her jacket up over her stomach with trembling fingers, and recognized the boy as someone from her old school. He was already gone now, though, his damage done.

The bags slipped from her trembling fingers, and she stumbled back. She forced herself to keep walking, though the blood was soaking through her jacket now, making it a darker black. It was dark out, making anyone who passed by her unable to see it. She limped, and every step hurt more than the last. She tasted blood in her mouth, but ignored it. Soon she opened the door to the house, leaving blood on the doorknob. She was glad David was out.

She stumbled to his room, and collapsed on the bed. She knew she should go to the hospital, but nothing seemed to matter right now. Every breathe hurt, but she didn’t unzip her jacket, for fear of looking at it, or letting Mason see it. If she was lucky he didn’t know what had happened, and would leave her alone.

She was on top of the blankets in the pitch black room, the only light shining in through the half closed drapes, casting a faint glow on the carpet. She felt the sheets underneath her soaking through with blood, along with her hands, which she still had pressed over her stomach.

Carlisle exited the his room, he had been checking on Annabell, who had stayed after her upset, she had fallen asleep again. He walked down stairs and sat beside Cora. "She fell sleep again, she keeps crying." he muttered, he was rather unhappy about that fact.

Rose, Ashley, and Carmen went out for the night.

Damon sat invisible in the corner of Cora and Carlisle's room.

Aden was sitting in heaven. He didn't know where Raven was, he wanted to find her, he needed to find her. But he had no idea where to look. It scared him to think she was out there somewhere, all alone.

~!!~
Tyler wasn't in the underworld. he was talking to Jake, trying to get him to take the insanity from Elliot. It wasn't looking well.

~!!~
Samson was sitting on her bed. "Why cry?" He asked. "At least both of them are still alive. When I was your age, my father already dead." He said bitterly.

Aline sat next to her, and wrapped her arms around her.

~!!~
Chris walked in then. "Morning, sleepily beauty." He said.

~!!~
Lance stood behind her, and pulled the book down and handed it to her. "That's one of my favorites." He said.

~!!~
Isaac appeared next to him. "I-" He couldn't think of a smart comment, after all this was his fault. He shut his mouth and looked thoughtful.

~!!~
Clara appeared next to Sable she was smirking. "Alexavier!" She said happily. She was lying about his name. She grabbed his wrist, and reappeared in the goddess' thrown room. The goddess smirked. "Alexavier." She said. "Welcome back." They had plotted together.

~!!~
Jade looked in the mirror. She had a small apartment, and somehow she was doing okay. She wasn't sure how she was doing it. But she was. She had a job, through the boss had to have a lot of patience with her. She brushed her shoulder length hair back. it use to reach her lower back, but she had to cut it. She blinked and looked at her red eyes, she had been crying again.

~!!~
Mason had been with her the whole time. He appeared next to her now, and was holding her hand. "Please go to the hospital." He begged.

Raven felt tears running down her cheeks, which were already wet with tears. "Sable.." she moaned. "Sable!" She cried, but knew that there was no one there to hear her. She buried her face back in hands, her small shoulders shaking. She wanted her old life back. she wanted things to be normal again. She didn't want to be alone anymore.
~!!~
Ava didn't know what to think right now. All she knew was that she still couldn't breathe. She cried out once, and felt her eyes fall closed. Panic was setting in more than ever, and her body went limp.
~!!~
Elliot glared at Andrew. "Go away!" She shouted.

He sighed in annoyance. "Fine," He said, and diappeared, reappearing in JAke's cave. He looked at Jake, then Tyler, smirking slightly.

"Well, would you look at that," He laughed lightly.
~!!~
Ivy laughed. "You're the worst guardian I've ever seen," she said. "You're acting more like a second demon," she said. Brianna hugged Aline tightly, Sampson's words having brought only more tears to her eyes.
~!!~
Hymn jumped and spun to face him. "Good morning," she said quietly. "How long have I been asleep?" She asked quietly, her voice hoarse. She coughed, then spoke again. "How long?" she asked.
~!!~
Laurinda took the book from him, her fingers brushing his as she did so. "Thank you," she said quietly. She turned it over in her hands, then looked up at him. "How long have you been in here?" She asked. Heather was still standing near the door.
~!!~
Sable looked confused. "Alexavier?" He asked slowly. "That's my name?" He couldn't remembera thing. He had never been so confused.
~!!~
Cora nodded slowly, and looked up as Issac came in. She glared at him; this was his fault, she knew that much. Andrea walked in then.

"I need to talk to you," she said through gritted teeth, looking at Issac.
~!!~
Ashlyn looked at him.

"So you saw, then?" She asked, pulling her hand out of his grasp. His hand was stained red now, wet with her blood. She shook her head, and looked away. "I'm fine," she protested. "I don't need...I don't need to go to a hospital. I'll be fine." She looked at her hands, red and shaking, and quickly closed her eyes.
~!!~
Melanie opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. She glanced around before disappearing, reappearing in Hope's room, next to Warren.

"I need to talk to you," She said quietly.

Carlisle looked up at his father, surprised the demon had nothing to say. He looked at his mother when she spoke and then back at Cora lovingly, "You all right? He asked concerned.

Tyler turned around. "What do you want?" He asked, frowning deeply.

~!!~
Samson glared at her. "Ivy, was it? You were my father's demon, right? Well the problem can be traced all back to you. This may of not had happen if you never had him kill Aline, here." He said, matter-of-factly.

~!!~
"A few days." He said, walking toward her. "You kicked me off my own bed three times, by the way." He said.

~!!~
"A while." Lance said. "Why?" He asked.

~!!~
"Yes." Said Clara. "You are a fallen. You were once a demon, then they turned you to an angel. You have all the powers of a demon, and in mind, you are still a demon, you shall always be." She said with a short laugh.

~!!~
"Yes." He said softly. "No you won't." He said, pulling out his pendent, it was glowing brightly.

~!!~
Warren looked up and nodded. "Alright." He said, and led her out of the room.

"Elliot's looking for you," Andrew said simply, leaning against the wall near the entrance to the cave. "She's not very happy. After I took her dress off...what was it? Three times?" He was smirking.
~!!~
"You flatter me," Ivy said, standing up and stretching. "But really, if that was supposed to make me feel bad or something, you'll have to try harder than that," she said. Brianna had her hands over her ears, trying to drown out her voice.
~!!~
Hymn's cheeks turned bright red. "Ah, I'm---" She frowned, staring down at her feet. "Sorry about that," she mumbled finally.
~!!~
Laurinda shrugged. "Just wondering," she said quietly. She was hoping he hadn't heard her reading from her diary; she had a habit of readin aloud at times. She gripped the book to her chest and glanced around the room. for some reason, she felt as though someone else were there.
~!!~
Sable frowned. "Why are you telling me all of this?" He asked finally. "I dont' understand."
~!!~
Ashlyn blinked at the sudden light, then looked away. She tried to sit up, and cried out in pain. She unzipped her jacket with trembling fingers, and lifted her shirt up just enough to look at the bullet wound. It made her stomach turn, and she almost threw up right there. Blood was flowing freely now, and she pulled her shirt down quickly, laying back and staring up at the ceiling.

"Okay, so maybe not," She said quietly. She flinched; even speaking hurt. "But what do you care?" She asked suddenly. "If I'm gone, you have no more worries. You'll be home free," She mumbled, turning on her side and facing away from him. She didn't know why saying these things.
~!!~
Melanie turned to look at Warren as soon as they were out of the room, and closed her eyes tightly. Knowing Warren, this would be harder than she hoped. She had to make him hate her, or at least convince him that she no longer loved him.

"Warren," she began, took a deep breathe, then continued. "I need to tell you something."
~!!~
Cora nodded slowly. "I'm fine, "she said softly. "Say, do you think you could take me to see Blake tonight?" She asked suddenly, turning to look at him. "I know it's getting late, but I'm sure he won't mind.." she said quietly.
~!!~
Andrea sighed in annoyance and grabbed her husband roughly by the arm, practically dragging him out of the room and outside.

"Of course." Carlisle said. He stood up quickly, no longer needing his crutches, "We'll leave as soon as you're ready." he told her, "I'm just going to check on Anna really quick." he said and he limped up the stairs and into his room.

Tyler had been walking toward him. A sudden anger crossed his face. There was a creaking sound as his fist impacted his face. Blood dripped down Tyler's hand.

~!!~
Samson rolled his eyes. "Whatever." He said, glancing at Brianna.

~!!~
Chris just laughed. "It's fine." He said softly.

~!!~
Lance nodded, and wasn't gonna tell her that he had heard.

~!!~
"Because." The goddess said. "Every demon needs to torture a human." She said. "You have a human to torture. A woman that goes by the name Jade Zat." She was smirking. "She use to be an angel, so it will be hard. Do you think you can do it?" She asked.

~!!~
Mason turned her back over. "Because I can finally return your feelings." He said.

~!!~
Warren was smiling. "What is it?" He asked.

~!!~
Isaac looked at her. "What?" He asked.

Cora nodded, and watched as he went. She stood up quickly, brushing her clothes off. She was wearing a simple dress, a normal outfit for her. She attempted to smooth out her hair, qucikly gave up, and sat back down.
~!!~
"You told me before, that if I told you why I argued with you constantly, you would leave our son alone. Is that correct?" Andrea asked, looking at him.
~!!~
Andrew just laughed, as he took a step back, holding his broken nose in his hand. It hurt, but soon was healed. He was a demon, after all.

"Nothing to be so angry about. She really is beautiful, you know. Though she did get angry when she woke up with nothing on...that wasn't too fun for me," He said, wiping the blood off on his pants. He was trying to make him angry, that much was obvious.
~!!~
Brianna looked up and glared at Samson. The yelling had stopped, and she stood up quickly, opening her door just as her father stormed past. She jumped back, and heard more yelling. She pushed her door closed quickly. Ivy was silent, for once.
~!!~
Hymn frowned, and looked down at her hands. "I think I'm okay now," she said, looking up at him. "It doesn't hurt so bad anymore."
~!!~
Laurinda nodded, and walked back over to the chair. She sat down, placing the book in her lap. "Thanks again," she said quietly. "But I'm sure you want me gone soon. It can't be convenient, having a little girl in your house all the time," She mumbled.
~!!~
Sable smirked. "I think I can," He said. He still didn't know who he was, nor why he was here. All he knew that he was angry; very angry. He didn't understand why, but the name of the girl brought a sense of familiarity to him. He pushed it back.
~!!~
Raven was in heaven now. She refused to go back to her old house, for all the memories that filled it. She was wiping her eyes on her sleeve again.
~!!~
"You're...so stupid," Melanie finally said. Her face was impassive, all sense of happiness or warmth gone. "This entire time, you really believed me, didn't you?" She asked, looking up at him.
~!!~
Ashlyn froze. She looked at him silently for a few moments, the only sound in the room being her shallow breathing. Finally she sat up. "Idiot!!" She shouted, pushing him away. Her hands left red marks on his shirt. "Idiot, idiot, idiot!!" She shouted. "You tell me this now??" She demanded, tears in her eyes. "Now, when I have a bullet in my stomach??" She cried. "It's too late now, don't you see that??" She demanded. She stood up, but her legs gave out from underneath her, and she fell to her hands and knees on the carpet. Tears streamed down her cheeks, blending with the blood dripping onto the carpet underneath her. "Idiot..idiot..idiot," she whispered, over and over again.

When Carlisle was satisfied he could leave his sister alone he walked out of the room and back downstairs. "Ready to go?" he asked Cora.

Isaac looked at her strangely. "And you have an answer?" He asked.

~!!~
Tyler glared at him. "Why you telling me this?" He asked, his tone deadly.

~!!~
"No." Lance said. "Stay as long as you like."

~!!~
"Clara?" The goddess said. Her daughter nodded. "I'll take you to her." She said holding out a hand.

~!!~
Warren's eyes widened. "What are you talking about?" He asked in a quiet tone.

~!!~
"It's not to late." He said. "Not if you go to a hospital."

Cora nodded and stood up. "Ready," she said quietly, offering him the smallest of smiles.
~!!~
Andrea nodded. "I do," She said. "And now you can leave as soon as I tell you."

She glanced around, then back at him. "It's because I love you," she said simply. "I haven't seen you in so long, and I felt betrayed. I still do. So I yell at you. I don't want you to be a demon, anymore than I want Damon to be one, nor anymore than I wanted Carlisle to be one. I still love you, and that's why."
~!!~
Andrew laughed. "What's the matter? Angry?" He asked. He was doing this for his own reasons, none that he would tell him, not in a million years. "You know, she told me. Not directly, but in her sleep. How much she misses you. How sorry she is. How much she loves you, and how much she was worried about you. That's why she did what she did, you know," he said.
~!!~
Laurinda stared down at her hands, then back at him.

"I want to," she said softly. She stood up. "I don't want to be scared anymore. I want to go to the police," she said suddenly, looking up at him. "What you told me before...it stuck with me. And I don't want to live with the constant fear that he'll find me again. But...if I go them, they'll stick me in a foster home. I know that. That's another reason I never wanted to," she said softly, looking away. "They won't let me stay on my own anymore. And I have no other family."
~!!~
Sable hesitated, then took the demon's hand. His mind was racing, though why he couldn't tell.
~!!~
"Me. You. Everything," Melanie said. "I loved you once, that's true, but death changed me. I'm a demon. I don't love you anymore. I never did," She said. "But," she added, taking a step toward him. "It was interesting, watching your reaction to this," She said.
~!!~
Ashlyn shook her head, and sat back against the bed, slumping down. She shook her head again.

"I don't care," she said, and paused to cough. It hurt, and when she looked at her hands she was covering her mouth with she realized they were darker red. Blood ran down her chin; she tasted it in her mouth. "It's over for me. It's been over for me for a long time," she said quietly.

Carlisle smiled back and opened the front door for her.

((sorry, I had to do dishes))

Isaac looked at her sadly. He opened his mouth to say something, once again he found himself speechless. He kissed the top of her head, and disappeared. She did say as soon as she told him. Little did he know, he would soon be back.

~!~
Tyler looked away. "It still doesn't make a difference." He said. "She is still hurting herself for me."

~!!~
Clara disappeared and reappeared behind Jade, invisible. She dropped his hand.

Jade was sitting at the kitchen table, in her small, apartment. It was small, cramped, and there was unknown stains on the floors she couldn't get out, but it had been then best she could do. Se was pretending to read, her eyes red, but she refused to cry anymore, no matter how much she wanted to. Her now short black hair was tangled, and she looked as if she had gotten no sleep.

~!!~
Lance looked at her. "It has to be a sacrifice you are willing to make." He said softly.

~!!~
Hi face grew blank. "You lie." He said. "You lie." He repeated.

~!!~
"No." Mason whispered. He leaned forward and kissed her, he could taste the blood on her lips.
