The big city.

James glared at her. "Because I'm nice to her, it's you I hate." He sapped.

"Yeah? is that why you hurt her on the beach and let her be taken by the goddess?", she asked crossing her arms.

James grew angry. "You were useing me to hurt her!" He yelled. "I was protecting her! I didn't mean to let her be taken! It's not my fault!" He yelled.

Layla shook her head. "I never /made/ you hurt her that was you", she snapped back. She didn't even know why she was even arguing with him, but still didn't leave.

"You were twisting my mind. You were making me think she pityed me!" He yelled.

Alice walked out of the hospital smiling, she was getting tired of not being able to walk around and having to be stuck in the hospital bed. A guy was with her he looked to be only a few years old then her. He worked at the hospital, he helped take some of the patients home or just took care of them while they were there. He led Alice to a car and got into the drivers seat and drove her home. She had bandages on her head because the wound wasn't healed just yet but it was good enough that she could go home. They pulled up to Alice's house and he got out and went around to the passengers seat to let her out.

Layla was about to say someting else when she had seen a car drive by passed his window. She walked over to teh window and saw that they had pulled into ALice's driveway. "looks like your girlfriend is home", she said smirking see the guy letting her out.

James walked to the window. "Who's the guy?" He asked, jealousy in his voice.

Layla looked at him for a moment then back ou tthe window. "dunno", she said watching them.

Alice took his hand and got out smiling at him. "thank you for taking me home, but you didn't have to", she said.

"I know, but I wanted to", he said smiling back. He put his arm around Alice's shoulders and walked her to the front door, he liked her alot.

Before Layla could say anything else, James was out the door. "Alice." He called.

Alice looked back when she heard her name being called. She smiled when she saw it was James.

The guy let go of Alic eand turned around seeing someone running towards them.

Layla heard him leave but was still by the window, after a few moments she disappeared and reappeared infront of Alice's house invisible to everyone including James.

"Alice, you okay?" James asked, inogeing the guy.

Alice nodded. "Yeah I'm doing better", she said. She looked at the guy again but didn't say anything then looked back at James.

The guy was watching James as he spoke.

James smiled at her. "I'm gald."

The guy looked at Alice again. "I have to go, I'll come back later", he said and hugged her for a moment then went to his car.

Alice hesitated then hugged him back but quickly let go when he let her go. "Bye", she said waving to him. "James, do you wanna come in?", she asked as the guy drove off.

John opened the front door and came outside. "Alice come on your mother made dinner", he said not noticing James yet.

James hands were in fists. "No, I should go."

Alice looked back at her father. "I'll be in, in a minute", she said.

John nodded. "ok but hurry your dinner is getting cold", he said then went back inside.

"are you sure? you could stay for dinner if you want", she said smiling again.

James only nodded, and left.

Alice sighed and watched him leave. After a moment she went inside.

Bailey ran at Alice and hugged. " You're back!", she shouted happily, she hadn't been able to go see her at teh hospital for a few days.

Alice laughed and hugged her back, then walked into teh dining room. "I'm so glad to be out of that place and back at home", she said.

Layla walked next to James and suddenly became visible to him. "Why are you leaving her? you just got there", she asked.

"Because." Was all James said.

Layla rolled her eyes. "Would it have anything to do with that guy she was with?", she asked.

James shruged. "Prehaps."

Layla grew annoyed with James. "Why do you always do that?!", she asked, "You never give a straight answer, you always have to be difficult!"

James stuck his tounge out at her.

Layla glared at him then suddenly kicked him in the back of the leg and pinned him to the ground. "You are really starting to annoy me!", she snapped still on him.

"Are you crazy!" James yelled. "I don't care if I annoy you! Why don't you just kill me!?" He yelled.
