Lance stood up, and left. He retruned a moment later with something for her stomach.

Jade saw Sab;e and sat nextto him.

Blake said nothing and looke at Ava. "Do me a favor later?" He asked.

Aden closed his eyes.

Laurinda took what he gave her, and then lay back down. She closed her eyes, yet the tears still managed to fall.

Sable glanced at Jade, and managed a small smile before looking back at the tree.

Ava nodded.

"Sure," She said quietly. "What is it?" She asked. Cora had sat back down on the couch silently, and seemed to be in her own little world, not listening at all.

Raven soon leaned her head back against the tree, closing her eyes and soon falling asleep.

"Lulu, why are you crying?" He sounded worried.

"I need you to cheek on Carlisle later." He said hiing his voice from Cora, just in case.

"Something wrong?" She asked.

Aden had also fallen asleep.

"Raven is hanging around Aden," Sable said quietly.

Ava nodded. "What should I say to him?" She asked, also making her voice hidden. Cora didn't even seem to notice.

Laruinda shook her head.

"It's nothing," She mumbled. Her fever was making her hallucenate, and she could have sworn she saw her Uncle standing in the corner. She opened her eyes, then quickly shut them again.

"I want to help." Lance said.

"Nothing if you don't want to." Blake said.

"Is he doing something to her?" Jade asked.

"So you just want me to check on him, see how he's doing?" Ava asked. Cora still didn't seem to notice they were talking.

Sable shook his head.

"No..." He said slowly. "But how can I not worry? I mean, think about what he did to you," he said.

"You can't. Not with this," Laurinda mumbled. She opened her eyes, and the illusion had brought him closer to the bed. She stifled a scream and buried her face in his pillow, flinching as if she were just waiting for someone to hit her.

A momet later Lance was sitting on the bed. He had moved her head to his lap. "I'm sorry." He whispbered, strokeing her hair. He used to do that with Heather when she was sick.

Jade looked down. "You are right. You have evryright to worried. I too am worried. But I'm sure if something happens she will come to you."

Blake nodded. "Everyonce and a while go check, please."

"But what if she can't?" Sable asked. "What if he does something to her like he did to you, and she can't??"

Ava nodded.

"I will," She said. Cora finally looked up.

Laurinda's eyes widened when he moved her to his lap, but she closed her eyes. She hated being treated like a kid; she was almost 16. Yet she didn't protest now. She was too sick to.

Heather was watching, and found a small smile making its way to her face.

Jade looked down. "She is much stronger then me, it will take alot more to do that to her." She said softly.

"Thank you." He said, not noticeing Cora looking up. He touched Ava's cheek and kissed her softly.

Lance looked down at her, not saying anything.

Ava seemed to have forgotten that Cora was there, as she kissed him back.

Cora smiled slightly at them. In an effort to get her mind off of Carlisle and all that had just happened, she stood up.

"Having fun?" She asked, stepping close to them.

Sable sighed, and looked down.

"I don't know," he mumbled.

Laurinda soon fell into a restless sleep.

Lance smiled, and didn't move.

Blake pulled back; his face crimson. "Uh . . . "

Jade kissed his cheek. "I'll talk to him." She said, and disappeared.

"No!" Sable said, but she was gone. He let out a groan of frustration, burying his head in his hands.

Raven had somehow ended up with her head on Aden's shoulder.

Cora stifled a laugh.

"Calm down, Blake," she said. "I'm glad you finally found someone," She said quietly, not mentioning Suki.

Laurinda didn't move, fast asleep.

Aden wasstill asleep, not knowning her head was in his lap.

Jade appered next to him.

Blake looked away. He was embrassed.

Lance had laid back avrossed his bed, her head still in his lap, and also fell asleep.

Raven had somehow moved so her head was in his lap, and looked as though she were actually sleeping peacefully for once; she never did when she was alone.

Cora smiled slightly, then sat back down on the couch.

"I hope I can stay..." She said quietly. Ava sat down next to her wordlessly.

Laurina moved slightly in her sleep, but nothing else.

Sable stared straight ahead.

Jade reappeared next to Sable. "I have no idea what to do!" She was worried about what she saw.

Aden, too looked peaceful.

"I'm sure you can." Blake said."Betty has athing for 'Starys.'" He said. "Come on, I'll show you." He said going toward the stairs.

Cora frowned and followed him, confused as to what he meant. Ava trailed behind Cora.

Sable looked at her.

"What are you talking about?? What happened?" He asked quickly.

Blake walked up to Lance'sroom, andopened the door.

"They are asleep." Jade said. "But ..."

Laurinda mumbled something in her sleep when the door opened, but didn't move. Cora blinked in surprise when she saw them, as did Ava, but neither said anything.

"But what?" Sable asked. "Please tell me, Jade. It can't be that bad," He said.

"Her head is in hislap." She said quietly.

Blake sighed. "Lance! You should bebriging herfever down, not cathing it!"

Sable looked at Jade, then disappeared. He reappeared in the park, and picked Raven up swiftly. She woke up with a start and looked at him, blinking sleepily.

Laurinda opened her eyes when Blake spoke, her cheeks flushed red.

"Mmm..." She mumbled, seemingly unable to form words.

Ava and Cora frowned.

Lance sat up.

"I didn't know you were that type." Blake said to him, again.

"What?" He was still half asleep.

Jade appered next him.

Aden woke up.

Laurinda sat up slowly, the room spinning.

"....what's going on?" She mumbled. Cora wanted to ask who she was, but didn't. Ava frowned and hurried over to her, feeling her forehead with the back of her hand. She was burning up.

"What are you doing?" Sable demanded of Raven.

"I think I was sleeping..." She mumbled.

"This is the 'stray'." Blake said.

"Crap." Lance suddenly said.

Jade said nothing.

Cora looked at Blake.

"What are you talking about?" She demadned quietly, while Ava went to work with a washcloth trying to get Laurinda's fever down. Laurinda was swaying slightly from side to side.

"Do you now know who he is?" Sable demanded. "What he did?"

Raven just shrugged, still half asleep.

Aden blinked, and disappeared.

Blake sighed. "Never mind."

Lance laid Lulu back down. "I'm sorry." He was standing up now.
