The big city.

Cora shut the door quietly behind her.

"Hey," She said quietly, sitting down on the porchsteps. She looked up at the moon before looking back at him, wondering if he would sit as well.

Carlisle looked down at her and sat on the porch steps beside her. "So..." he didn't know what to say.

"So," Cora repeated, resting her chin in her hands and staring forward blankly. It was chilly out, and she shivered lightly.

Carlisle pulled something out if his pocket, flipped it over in his fingers but decided against it, and shoved it back in his pocket. Recently to help with stress he had picked up smoking.

"Lulu" Lance said. "It's more normarl then um however you say your name." He said. He just couldn't say her name.

Aden appered in the park. He was looking for Raven.

Cora looked up when she saw him take something out of his pocket. "What was that?" She asked.

Raven continued to push herself back and forth on the swing, not even looking up. She had given up looking for Sable. He was too busy with Jade, anyways.

She sighed. She knew she was being selfish, but she just couldn't help herself. She looked back down at the ground, her hair covering her face.

Laurinda glared at him.

"Laur," She said. "In. Da. It's not that hard," She said.

Carlisle looked away, "Nothing important." He told her, he felt bad about lying but didn't want to tell her.

"Carlisle," She said slowly. "What is it?" She could tell he was lying.

Carlisle looked back at her and sighed, he took it out of his pocket and showed her the cigarette.

Cora stared at the cigarette for a few moments. She knew what it was; she had heard about them a lot, and what they could do.

She stood up, and just looked at him, saying nothing. There was nothing to say about this. It was a stupid move for him to make.

"Laur-" He bagan. "Lulu." He said. "I like that much better. It's cute like you."

Aden sat on the swing next to hher.

Carlisle sighed and threw it to the ground, "I'm sorry. I've just been stressed lately with this judgement coming up. It's stupid but they calm my nerves if only for a little while."

Raven glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, through the sheets of her blonde hair. She sighed when she saw who it was. She was hoping it had been Sable.

"What do you want?" She asked, looking back at the ground.

Laurinda stared at him, trying to determine weather or not he was being serious. She couldn't.

"Don't tease me," She protested, and tried to climb out of his bed. The world span and she sat back down, holding her head in her hands.

Cora glared at him.

"They also kill you!" She said. "Is that worth a stres-release??"

"No..." Carlisle muttered. He stood up and took the box out of his pocket, throwing them out into the street, "I'm sorry." he told her.

Aden smiled. "Making you love me, the old fastion way, no brain washing involed." He said.

"I'm not," Lance protested. "You are cute!"

Raven laughed, but it wasn't a real laugh. It was wry and sarcastic.

"Good luck with that," She mumbled, staring at the ground again. Where was Sable? She missed him.

Cora shook her head, looking away, tears in her eyes.

"This is hard on all of us," she said quietly. "It only gets harder with me being so close to you."

"Liar," Laurinda mumbled, closing her eyes tightly and trying to hold down her breakfast.

Ava woke up slowly, and paniced for a moment before she remembered where she was. She stood up and walked to the door, opening it and stepping out into the hallway, blinking sleepily.

Heather was next to Link, laughing though he could not hear her.

Aden smiled. "Itmight take years, butI won't give up."

"I'm not lieing!" Lance was growing annoyed. "I really do think your cute." He wasn't trying to be romantic, at least he didn't like her like that yet.

Raven shook her head, and finally stood up.

"I'm just a stupid little girl," She said. "That's what everyone keeps telling me, anyways. You're wasting your time," She said.

Laurinda just shrugged.

"I need to leave," She mumbled, pushing herself to her feet and trying to get to the door. She stumbled, and fell to her knees.

"I don't think you're stupid. Little; yes. But I think every one is little, I'm taller then most." Aden said quietly.

Lance picked her back up, and laid her back on his bed. "No, your sick. Just until you are better, please."

Carlisle frowned, warring between hugging her or keeping his distance. "I shouldn't have asked you to marry me. It only makes this harder." he decided.

Cora shook her head.

"That's not it," she said quietly. "But everyday I spend with you, I worry more," She whispered. "Maybe I should......go for a while," She whispered, surprising even herself. But once she started, she could not stop. "Just until the judgement comes."

Raven frowned.

"Why are you doing this?" She demanded. "I'm not worth it."

Laurinda frowned, and glared up at him.

"Fine," She mumbled. She closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them. "Can we forget that whole thing ever happened?" She asked, referring to them seeing each other's pasts.

Carlisle looked hurt at her words, "N-no...." he managed to get out, he knew it would be the right thing just to let her go until this judgement was over but he didn't think he could. After a few moments he spoke "You shouldn't have to go anywhere. I'll leave." He walked past her and back into the house. Marching up the stairs he grabbed a suitcase and began to pack his bags.

Cora sighed and ran after him.

"Where will you go?" She demanded, standing in the entrance to their room. "I can stay with Blake. You should stay here with Ashley and watch over her. Clara is still here sometimes after, all," She said.

"Every part of chivalry tells me that this isn't right. You shouldn't have to go." Carlisle responded, he stopped packing an sat on the edge of the bed, "I love you and I'm sorry this is how you feel." he added.

"You know this isn't because I don't love you," Cora told him, sitting next to him silently. "I just need time to think, is all. Just until the judgement," she said quietly. "I can stay with Blake. You should stay with Ashley and Rose," She said quietly. "Keep an eye on them."
