The big city.

Joanna smiled at Zane and waved, finally pulling back from her sister. She ran over to him and clung to him instead.

"You should get some sleep, now," Sable said quietly.

Ava took a deep breathe. She didn't know if she would be able to see him ever again after tomorrow. The thought almost sent her into another wave of tears, but instead she held them back and looked at him. She should enjoy the time with him that she had, then, right?

She set the water down and smiled at him, standing up and stretching.

Ashlyn watched him, frowning sligthly. She herself had grown used to the heat. Her house had no AC, and she always wore long sleeves and long pants to cover up her cuts and scars and bruises.

"Everything okay?" She asked simply, not really sounding like she cared either way.

Zane simled and slung Joanna over his shoulder, and started walking towards Darren.

Jade smiled and sat on the bed, then layed down. "I'll see you tomorrow, right? I ca teach you how to fly tomorrow."

Blake glance up at her and stood up too.

"Uh-huh, but I'm no longer freezeing, instead I feel like I was set on fire." He said, finnally decideing if she saw the scars, not like she care anyways. He un zipped his jacket and pulled it off. He was wearing a gray T-shrit and his arms were cover in scars, they marked a histroy of beatings and ill-nesses and failed escapes.

Ashlyn looked at his arms. They looked much like hers, though she didn't think his were from fights. He said his dad hit him. She stood up and put a hand to his forehead, pulling it back almost immediatly.

She walked out of the room, and came back a few minutes later with a wet washcloth. She placed it on his forhead.

Ether frowned.

"This really isn't like her..." she mumbled. Ashlyn ignored her.

"Right," Sable said, smiling. "Tomorrow." He kissed her forehead, then walked towards the door.

Raven kept dragging Dust on more rides.

Joanna was laughing uncontrollably now.

Ava smiled at him, and poked him before walking to the door and opening it, walking down the stairs and stopping in the living room.

Jades eyes fell closed. "Good night."

"What are you doing?" Mason asked, surpised.

Dust sighed, he went on them to make her happy, he did't like them.

He stoped alittle ways from Darren. He took Joanna and threw her in the air, and caught her again, almost like she was a small baby.

Cleo walked in. "I'm almost jealous." She said.

"Sorry, Cleo, your to heavy." Zane said.

He followed her. Smileing.

"You're burning up," Ashlyn said simply. She kept the washcloth pressed to his forehead.

Joanna laughed, and clung to Zane so he wouldn't throw her again. She smiled at Cleo, still laughing.

"Night," Sable said, and turned off the light as he walked out, closing the door behind him.

Raven soon grew tired. She yawned as they got off yet another ride.

Ava turned to face him, raising an eyebrow playfully.

"Still think you can win?" She asked, picking up a pillow and throwing one at him, grabbing one herself.

"And you care why?" Mason asked. He suddenly felt as if he would regrat that.

Zane laguhed at his little sister, putting her on the ground.

Dust took her hand "time to go." He said disappering and reappering in front of Sable.

Jade was now asleep.

"I ever lose." He said cacthing the pillow.

Ava smirked.

"Really now," She said, taking a step to the left, as if testing him.

Sable smiled at Raven when she appeared. She yawned, and Sables miled at Dust.

"Thanks for taking her back," he said. Raven was swaying in place, almost asleep.

Joanna ran over and hid behind Cleo when he put her down, still laughing slightly.

Ashlyn glared at him.

"I don't," She said simply, and let go of the cloth. "Help yourself," She mumbled, and turned the light back off. She crawled back into bed.

"Goodnight, idiot," She said, turning onto her stomach and not really caring what he did now.

"Yes really." He said not moveing, keepin an eye on her.

Dust nodded. "I'm gald she's almost asleep, I really don't like fairs now."

Zane frowned and walked over to a chair sitting down, he was done playing for today.

Felix frowned. He walked over to Mason, and numbed the sick boys mind, for no apparten reason.

Mason was lifting the cloth to his head and was about to say something, suddenly he droped the cloth, and his eyes went wide. One wouldn't notice how uneven his breathing had been till you heard it even out with happened now. He frozen and couldn't move.

Ashlyn opened one eye when she heard him breathing strangely. Well, normally. It was now that she realized how strange it had been before. She sat up, looking annoyed.

She nudged him hard with her foot.

"Hey," She said. "What's going on?"

"Hey......" Raven mumbled, just as she fell asleep, still holding the stuffed dog in her arms. Sable caught her, and laughed slightly. He nodded at Dust.

"Yeah, she can be.....energetic, sometimes," he said

Joanna eventually stopped laughing, and sat down, yawning.

Ava laughed and threw her pillow at him, smirking slightly.

Felix smiled.

Mason couldn't talk of move.

Dust smiled and nodded. "Is JAde asleep?" He asked him.

Darren frowned and sat down as well.

He blocked the pillow with his and threw his at her, picking hers back up.

Sable nodded.

"Yeah, she just fell asleep," he said, still holding a sleeping Raven in his arms.

Ava laughed and dodged, grabbing his and running into the kitchen.

Ether was smling as well.

Ashlyn nudged him again, harder this time.

Felix looked at Ether, "might want to tell her that won't work."

Blake ran after her. "Why do you always trap yourself?"

Dust nodded. "Thank-you." He said walking up stairs, he peeked into the room and smiled.

"Why don't you?" Ether retorted, her voice unheard by Ashlyn. "I'm enjoying this."

Ashlyn kicked him, growing frustrated with him.

"You're welcome," Sable said quietly. He looked down at Raven, then at Dust.

"Can she stay here tonight? I have something I need to do, and I can't take her with me," He said simply.

Lenora was still at the fair, watching Link and Iran and James and Alice.

Ava laughed.

"I don't know, bad habit, I guess," She said. She took a step to the left, trying to find a way past him, still smiling.

Felix rolled his eyes.

Mason still didn't respond, but it would soon wear off.

"I geuss, if you don't mind me putting her next to Jade, it the only place left to sleep." Dust said.

"Hmm, depends on who you ask." He said. Standing in the doorway.

Sable shook his head.

"That's fine," he said. He shifted Raven slightly in his arms. "Thanks."

"Whatever," Ashlyn mumbled, settling back down into bed, but she didn't fall asleep.

Ether frowned.

Ava laughed, and tried to run past him.

His suddenly went uneven again. He looked at his leg were she kicked him, it hurt and felt damp. Somehow she managed to reopen a wound on his lower leg.

Felix laguhed. "Nice."

Blake caught her in his arms.

Dust nodded. "What do you ave to do?"

Sable frowned. He handed Raven to Dust, then looked away.

"I have to find my parents," He said. "I need to put my mind at ease once and for all."

He had been wondering about them ever since his death, and no doubt Raven had, too. Not if they were okay; he couldn't care less about that. Just thinking about all the pain they had caused him and his sister, both physically and emotionally, were enough to make him furious. No, he just wanted to know what they were doing now. If they felt any remorse for what they had done.

Ashlyn listened as his breathing went normal again. Well, normal for him, she had realized. She looked at the clock by her bed. It read 11 PM.

She didn't turn on the light, but she listened to him.

"Everything alright?" She asked.

Ava smiled at him when he caught her, looking up at him.

"Okay, so maybe you do always win," She said, laughing slightly. Then she remembered she would be leaving him tomorrow, probably forever. Her breathe caught in her throat. It hurt too much, but she knew she had to. It was the only way to keep him 'alive', so to speak. She hated Nick. Hated him so much. Why couldn't he see that?

Dust took Raven. "Okay, but just so you know, you can't have any contect with them. Unless you make them think you are someone else."

"NO!" He snapped rollin up his pant leg to his knee, somehow a wound on m leg had reopen!" He said, not remebering the last five minutes.

Blake smiled then it disappered. "something wrong?"

"Crap...." Ashlyn mumbled. She sighed, and stood up.

"Am I going to get any sleep tonight?" She asked herself. She walked into the bathroom, and came back a few minutes later with some bandages and disinfectent spray made for wounds. She turned on her light, pushing the door closed with her foot. She walked over to him, and kneeled down next to him.

"This will hurt," She said simply, before she began to clean his wound.

Raven moved slightly, but said nothing

Sable nodded.

"I wasn't planning on it anyways," He said somewhat bitterly. He gave Dust another appreciative smile before disappearing.

"No, n---nothing," Ava stammered. But she was hugging him now, and didn't seem to want to let go.

"I been through wrost." Mason mumbled.

Dust sighed and walked back upstairs and layed Raven next to Jade.

Blake sighed. "I don't believe you." He said, he put his fingers under her chin and made her look at him. "Please tell me what;s wrong Av." After a moment he sighed.

Ashlyn just shrugged, and wrapped the bandage around his leg, pulling it tight, probably tighter than was necessary.

Sable was standing in front of his old house. Well, where it used to be. It was torn down now. He disappeared, reappearing at the library. He would need to do some research to figure out where they were now.

Ava just shook her head.

"It's nothing, really," She said quietly.

Nick was standing in the corner, invisible to Blake, but not to Ava. He smiled and waved at her.

Mason looked at her, "Plaese do not become a doctor."

Blake sighed again and warp his arms around her waist. "I'm gald you are okay, I won't let that happen again, I promise." Je kissed her forehead, too sacred to kiss her on the lips. again

Ava nodded, and rersted her head against his chest, struggling to hold back the tears that she knew were coming now.

"Right," She said quietly. "Alright." Nick was frowning now.

"Ow, I mean you'll make a great doctor!" Mason said. "For corpses"

Blake frowned, and held her closer. "But I don't want you hideing things from me." Blake said. "Plaese tell me if somethig happens."

"I will," Ava lied. "I promise."

Nick smiled.
